I wish i would have yelped this place prior to going!! I went in with gel powder and gel polish nails and I needed a fill and shortened. After she chopped my nails by a 1/4 " gathered they were long but now i had SHORT and when u paid my bill they charged me to shorten them. I hated the color she basically made me pick out really she's like that's not a good color on you you should get this one with the glitter on top, so I did and still hate it!! I wouldn't even rate this a 1 star salon, it should be a negative 50 star nail salon. WORST NAIL SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE. I went three times, just to make sure they weren't havin a bad day the first time around, and the service was equally as wretched all three times (3rd time I was desperate and all other salons were closed). I'm from Dallas (in KV for grad school atm) and get my nails done all the time, I always do gel. Usually NORMAL nail salons soak the gel I have on and proceed To scraping it off. La nails jumped STRAIGHT TO USING THE MACHINE TO DRILL MY GEL LAYER OFF.  That's so bad for your nails! On top of that , when actually filing the tip of my nails down, instead of starting with a light nail file, they jumped straight to a thick coarse white filing board that's meant for thicker nails, and my nails are thin and fragile! I WAS SO SCARED FOR MY NAILS IT FELT LIKE THEY WERE GOING TO COME OFF.. It didn't feel good at all. And all three times I went, they don't wait long enough between each coat for the nails to dry under the uv light. Usually gel is already dry at the end and you can touch things in your purse already, but here, my Gel nails were still semi wet. The fat bald lazy guy that did my nails was treating each coat and UV wait time as if it were regular polish, BUT THIS IS GEL. He didnt even bother cleaning the sides of my nails where the nail polish spilled onto my skin, just scraped it off with his own nail, so you could still see gel nail stains, it looked like a 8 year old little girl did my nails. So dumb. When they clean your gel nails at the end with cotton and alcohol to rid it of impurities, since they don't wait long enough under uv light, the cotton smears the gel polish since it isn't completely dry yet. BY THE WAY. Normal gel nails from normal salons last 2-3 weeks. All three times from this salon, they peeled off, PEELED OFF, in about a week, most likely due to them not waiting under the UV light long enough. And when the fat bald guy did my nails, he also called back to the lady and asked if you were supposed to put the top gel layer on right away. It was in Viet, but I could tell bc he said "top coat" in English and seemed Hesitant to put the layer on before asking the lady. Claims he moved from dallas and has been doing this 11 years, so i asked why didnt you stay in dallas? he said cuz its competitive an hard to find a nail job up there. that BASICALLY MEANS he couldn't get a job up there bc his skills were not up to par an moved down here to the middle of nowhere to take advantage of the small town citizens here that don't know any better. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I've been here to do a pedicure and a new pink and white acrylic set, neither were very good. Second of all, I called and spoke to Jennifer the owner and asked for an appointment at 7pm for a filling. She said it was fine and I told her I would see her at 7. I got there and her and her husband asked "how can I help you". I clearly stated that "I called earlier and have an appointment at 7 with Jennifer for a filling". They told me to take a seat. I waited for 45 minutes when her husband proceeded to tell me to sit in the pedicure chair (after I already told them I was there for a filling). I advised him that I needed a filling and have been waiting for my appointment for 45 minutes. He then tells me they do not take appointments. So, I told you 45 minutes ago I was there for my appointment and they decided they shouldn't tell me anything about not taking appointments and instead made me wait 45 minutes for nothing. When I asked how long it would be, he told me there were 3 pedicures I front of me. I said forget it and left. No apology, nothing. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! And what salon doesn't take appointments? Not to mention you had me waiting for 45 minutes and didn't care to tell me that it would be a while. AVOID! DO NOT COME HERE! My mom and I went there. Never again. I didn't experience what the other only reviewer wrote AT ALL, but the girl could win a contest on multitasking and completing more pedicures/manicures in an hour than anyone I have seen..Doesn't quite make you feel that special and the product didn't last on me as she was too busy to do a 2nd coat. The guy there sits on his bottom most of the time watching her do all the work. Hope that's not her husband, cause he's lazy...The only great thing really was her kid was there too help and was very sweet, cute, helpful and i wish I had brought my daughter in to play with her. This place was the WORST.  I went for a pedicure to kill some time.  The girl that did my toes wore a very loose fitting top that had a view to her bellybutton every time she leaned over.  Then, when she was working on me, she decided to make a personal phone call (on the business line). When I asked her not to use the dremmel-looking drill thing, she gave me attitude.  Then, when some other customers came in (regulars, I guess), the whole place was talking about sex and vibrators.  Lest I forget the clientele!  Which was worst?  The girl talking about how she plans to get laid that night, or the new mom with the ankle monitoring bracelet talking about breaking beer bottles on peoples heads, and calling her multiple boyfriends suggesting she would "come over" if they'd come over and pay for her pedi.My gosh - please stay away from this place at all costs!
