DO NOT GO to this place! They seriously over charge, especially if you look young. If they know that a young adult is not with a parent, they will seriously over charge even more. A nail job that normally, typically, and always costs $30, they were trying to charge my daughter $70. Once my daughter said that she was not paying that price & asked why she was being charged that amount, the man proceeded to get loud & treat my daughter in a condescending way in front of everyone. After my husband & I went there to curse them out in the kindest way possible, my daughter left a little later with her friend because she was getting the nails removed (which she was charged $10 for). They went to another salon to get their nails done for MUCH CHEAPER but while they were there, my daughter's friend found out that her debit card was stolen by them. Do not go to this salon! I give this salon a one star because I was literally in pain. I had a crack in my nail, despite getting them done less than a week ago. So I went in to get them taken off. The man seriously tried to pop my nails off! I could do that at home if I wanted it to hurt. I had to ask him for another option, and at the end he said the glue under my cracked nail was normal. Nail Salon Chronicles: So you all know I been struggling to find a decent nail shop all summer!  Finally I got a good recommendation. Their reviews weren't all that good so I was still a little skeptical. They had fresh fruit and water waiting for me after I picked out my color. The pedicure was nice, she just wasn't friendly AT ALL! But Jimmy, Jimmy was the truth! He fixed me a nice frozen margarita and I sipped away as he did my nails with pure PERFECTION! After I got my eyebrows done and when I was telling her they weren't right she just stood there and then walked to the counter for me to pay.... they weren't too bad so I let it slide. Once again, Jimmy was the best so I let her attitude roll off my pack. Once I paid, I realize I had cash in my car and didn't want any of the others to get Jimmy's tip! So I left no tip on the receipt and went to my car to get cash for Jimmy. As I was walking out she turns around and screams NO TIP! NO TIP! NO TIP!  Yup, no tip for you! I walked back in and they were all looking crazy! I walked right over to Jimmy, hugged him, thanked him so much for the perfect service, and handed him a 20! And they all just looked! If I could give it 0 stars, I would! I received a pedicure from a sweet older lady. When it was time for manicure, they took me to another seat. I wanted this specialty metallic polish. It was absolutely beautiful! So a guy took me to 'AJ' and proceeded to explain how to apply the polish. So of course I ask the the guy explaining to AJ, to do my nails since he has to explain. This is an EXTRA $30 POLISH I want it done correctly! So AJ says I've been doing this for 18 fucking years! I know how to do this! I was appalled! I asked him why is this guy explaining it to you AJ if you know how to do this? So we went back and forth like that for a bit getting louder and louder. This is the most disrespectful situation I have ever been in! He was rude! Used all sorts of unprofessional terms and told me he didn't want to do my nails anyway or ever! Massages chairs, cold water, variety of polish colors to choose from, and a large friendly staff are why I recommend this salon as five stars. The large staff means if I have to walk in it is a short wait. The waxing rooms are private not in the middle of the spa. Designs are cute too. My mom and daughter came into this salon today, it was busy.  We signed in and waited an hour, before anyone acknowledged us.  My mother was finally taken back, I was then asked what I needed.  My 8 year old daughter was getting her fingernails and toenails polished only.   The employee told me that she will be helped after my mother gets her fill done, and it will be done by my mothers technician, and proceeded to ask who was next.  I asked the man, why he couldn't do my daughter's nails, and why is he skipping my daughter.  He replied, my mothers tech will do my daughters nails, and he doesn't polish nails. and moved on to the next lady in line.  I know for a fact he polishes nails, unless after he does nails, he makes the customer polish them their selves.  First off, I've been waiting here over an hour; second, just because it's a little girl getting something minor, does't mean she doesn't matter, third, what is the point of a sign on sheet? They took, three more customers that came after us, and continued to slip is. This man expected us to wait even longer, when nails could have been done at the same time.  Needless to say, the people at this shop has no clue what customer service is, and they wonder why they get cussed out.  Although, I didn't go that route, I was pretty hot.  I see others saying, the wine and fruit is nice.....as long as I waited and the service I got, Id rather crush the grapes myself, make my own wine, than deal with less than appropriate customer service. I LOVED THIS NAIL SALON!! My daughter and I went 10 minutes before closing not realizing they closed in 10 minutes and they asked us to stay even though I offered to go back the next day. They were so welcoming!!! Ann did my nails and they are seriously the best nails I have ever had done! A different lady did my 12 yr olds nails and they were just as good! Ann and I believe the guys name is Victor stayed way past closing to accommodate us and then upon leaving gave us fresh fruit for the drive home. Honestly the atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. They had a ton of stations which would be great on busy days to help cut the wait time. I went in to get a shellac manicure and was less than impressed with both the quality and the cost. I would've rather gone to the salon in Walmart. I have been coming to Perfection Nails for a few years and today I received the worst service ever. I came in for a cut down and polish change. The first nail tech over compensated filing  on one nail and this lead to Mis-shaping other nails after I pointed it out with the first one. She then asked another tech for help, the second tech tried but she could not fix the mistakes. She then proceeded to tell me that to fix it I would have to pay for another full set! Excuse me!! Your employee made the mistake, she said well that's what has to be done to fix it and we won't charge to take them off! I asked to speak to the manager and she said that I had to call him but he doesn't answer employee calls either. I just left here Saturday and had no complaints but today I have a major issue with the poor customer service and lack of professionalism! If I could give this business a negative star rating I would. I then had to pay $10 dollars for a horrible paint job. The place is extremely nice and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing, appears clean, the location is convenient. I've been wanting to get my nails done here so much that I've actually come 3 times, 3 different times and the first 2 I was turned away because of the wait. This last time I actually walked out after waiting almost 30 minutes to be at least acknowledged. I thought it was absurd for me to sit there and wait to be addressed, when other places around just sit you on a chair as soon as you walk in. I should have read the reviews before I had my nails done here. I hardly ever get manicures, but I wanted a basic nude-colored shellac for my wedding.I was very optimistic going in, because it really is beautiful and well-decorated inside. But don't let that fool you! This place is ridiculously mismanaged... their operation is too large for them to handle. I watched the employees interact while I had my nails done, and they all seemed incredibly confused and disorganized. It took 3 employees to find the nail color that I picked-out from their shellac selection.The manicure itself was not pretty. The gentleman who did it was very sloppy. On top of that, he kept using his own fingernail to "clean" and wipe off the nail polish he kept getting on the skin around my nails. I had a cut on my finger and he kept scraping it with his nail! (YUCK!). The cut was red and obvious, but I still had to tell him to stop scraping it because it hurt when he did it. His reply: "you pick at your nails?" NO! It's a CUT! Stop poking at it!My shellac manicure didn't even last 4 days before it started to peel off! The whole point of getting a shellac manicure is for it to last longer!Overall, I did not get a friendly vibe from any of the employees. Wife went in and waited over 30 minutes (was not even busy). When was finally gotten to she showed a picture of what she wanted and the stylist said she can do it but ended up not knowing how and just painted the nails one color. As well as surfing Facebook the whole time while doing nails and taking breaks in between each nail. Then put two different kinds of lotion on one arm than the other. I am the daughter of Barbara. Me and her came in today with the intentions of walking out with lovely pretty nails. Ha! Defiantly didn't happen. Well let me tell you... It's weird how once I sat down and she started to do my nails my instinct was clearly right because I knew right then and there she wasn't doing it right. The lady who was doing my nails wasn't paying any attention to my nail work. Every 5 secs she would look up and hurt my sensitive skin. She left minor cuts on the sides of my nails. Not only that but, uneven, crooked, and painful nails for me. I am so unsatisfied. I'm not a picky female when it comes to my nails but it's clear that they suck here! I have consistently gone to this place because it's affordable, peaceful, and they get the job done well. I mainly get a pedicure and brow wax. The color variety there is almost overwhelming, but it's good to have variety. Sometimes they are REALLY busy and you could be waiting for a while. When it's around payday they are the busiest. I believe I have finally found a salon in Killeen that I can go to regularly to get a quality pedicure in a relaxing, clean, and nice environment. This place does not look like it would be nice on the outside but the inside is beautiful, quiet and clean. I received a pink and white fill along with a pedicure that included a mango scrub, foot paraffin wax, 10 minute foot and leg massage, and hot stone massage. Went to get nails soaked off. Was told he had to drill because of gel. After snatching my hand back repeatedly because it was burning I gave up. He drill so much on my little finger there is barely a thin piece of nail left! I'm filing a complaint after posting this review. Guy needs to go back to tech school before there is a lawsuit!
