No conversation, poor work by the lady that did mine(pedicure ), as she worked I wanted to tell her to go get me a different tech!, but I just wanted to get it over. They have nothing nothing on other nail salons, I was not offered a drink nor did she check to ensure the customer (me )was ok, as a matter of fact she joined in another conversation but never once said a word to me besides come this way. The atmosphere is so calming especially if you go during the week early to mid-morning...I can't speak on the weekend crowd...They went up on their prices recently but what business hasn't. My 1st time going to this location & it was definitely a pleasant experience. Service & quality of my mani & pedi was awesome!! I'm usually very picky with my nails. I decided to go ahead a do acrylics; the guy I had was very good (I failed to get his name) he did exactly what I wanted him to do. Prices were reasonable. I called before going in, I asked if they did gel full set and was told yes. They never said that they did gel polish full set so when I went it I was expecting them to do gel tips not a full set of acrylics. Well, the tips he put on didn't fit my natural nail so, you could absolutely tell they were fake nails. They were busy talking to each other in their language making me feel weird. The paint didn't fully cover the acrylic nails let alone hide the parts of my real nails showing on the sides.  The acrylic was a thin single layer over my real nail onto the tip, so 3 of them broke within days of being done. Poorly touched up the paint where he touched to see if they were dry, so I had spots of the paint being really thin with major raised spots. His fingerprints in my polish down to the ridge detail of the fingerprint. Rushed through my set even though they weren't very busy kept his hand out waiting for a tip after I paid for them for the crappy rushed set. I won't go back nor will I refer anyone to them. I’ve had my nails done at 4 other places before hollywood nails and was never satisfied. This was the only place that had my nails looking on point for 4 weeks before I needed to do a fill. This will have been my third visit with my girls and the experiences have been excellent. The staff is great and they do what you ask. I decided to treat myself for my birthday and I usually went to Modern Nails on fort hood st (Modern Nails is not a good place to go to) anyways I came here to HollyWood Nails and they did AMAZING!! The guy that did my nails was Tony I got full glitter with a coffin shape and they look AMAZING!! From now on Tony will be doing my nails and I'm not going anywhere else!! The first time I came here, I was blown away. This salon not only looks new and updated but the designs they offer and talent of the nail techs are new and up to date as well. It is true that some things tend to be priced higher but I spent $80 on a full set with some designs and not one nail fell off in a SIX WEEK period, then I came for a fill in for half of the price I paid for my original full set. I am a mail carrier and am hard on my hands working with many packages a day and jamming my fingers in all kinds of mail boxes and doors, but my nails held strong, and no I don’t have short nails either. Their was only two people working and I waited a hour and a half to get my nails done I would have left if I was driving. Staff is friendly and offer you drinks the place is clean but they do an awful job for your nails my nails are terrible and soar... I get my nails done every two weeks and their never soar Read Less

Worst experience ever! Every little thing cost extra. Oh and they only have solar so if you want acrylic DONT GO HERE. It was just as much to get a new set than to just get a fill. The VERY WORST! Soo I just paid 40$ for a pedicure & you cannot even tell.. My feet weren't even that bad, but I'm still sitting in here looking at dead skin on the bottom of my foot! They started running the water whiles I was picking out the polish & said they'd put some kind of scrub into it but I can tell there's nothing in here! They lady barely scrubbed my feet & can tell I'm very unsatisfied. This is a lesson learned, they barely have customers & now I see why!! Let me tell you...I have been in this area almost a decade and have not been able to find a descent nail salon. From Ts Nails to Nail Passion Spa, Glamour Nails, Cutie Nails, Vivian Nails..etc. I always left these establishments unsatisfied and several times even insulted. I came to this Salon due to the great reviews. I was not expecting anything out of it because I have been let down so many times by the Salons in the area. But WOW! This is the only place I got my nails done in Killeen but now I won't be getting them done here ever again. Within a few hours my nails started turning black. I went back for them to fix it and they said that I would have to pay again because they were changing due to me coloring my hair. First of all, this is THE BEST NAIL SALON in Killeen. If u r looking for a nice, professional, polite nail techs in Killeen, this is the place U MUST GO. if I can give them 10stars, I def will.Ive been thru many many many nail salons in killeen thru an yr and have never been satisfied with any of them. Some of them were incredibly rude(wow, I wish I could write their name but I wont...;) or have no skill at all. They made my nail so thick, ugly or just plain and so hurt when they remove my tips. I dont care how much they cost me as long as they do their best for my nail but no one was worth my money until I met Tony. I even started doing my own nails at home with Gel nail kit since even Im more skillful than them seriously.When I was skipping thru all nail salon's reviews on Yelp, I found Hollywood nail salon and decided to give it a shot. He is very skillful, polite and never says no to u even tho u bring new design that he has never tried before. He always try first before he says no. Good prices, good service. Went in for gel french tips and my eyebrows waxed. Everyone was very friendly. The lady who did my nails was very meticulous and made sure they were the way I liked them. The back room where they did my eyebrows was a little sketchy at first, but the lady did a good job in my eyebrows. I have light, sensitive skin, so every time I get my brows done they get all red. But the lady kept making sure I was alright and told me to run cold water over my eyebrows. Then as I was leaving they gave me a cold bottle of water. I think I finally found my go-to place. this place is near my house...so that is a plus! it is clean and they acknowledge you when you come in...another plus! it's quiet and relaxing....another plus since you getting a mani, pedi or other stuff done! the only thing I have gotten done at this place is my nails....ive been here twice...not sure if I will go a third time! the person that done my nails twice was the same person...it's nice but the tips were not shaped straight and one side more rounded and other side was squared! never asked if I liked the job either times....both times had to go home and shape my nails myself. The place is very clean and smells good when you walk in. They acknowledge you right away and get you in without appointments. I got a pedi and a full set. I love that they are the only ones that offer nails that already have the full design on them for only $35 and they did an amazing job with the correct length and my nails aren't sore after getting them put on. My toes and feet feel amazing I got the #3 I belive, it was a mask and scrub and wax treatment. Felt very good and my feet look amazing. Love the customer service too and they always try to talk to you instead of across the room. Strongly recommend,the only thing I didn't like and I said soemthing about was the fact that they used what looked like a cheese grater on my heels and then proceeded to "clean" it off in my water that they still wanted me to use. I just moved here from California and my friend and I were looking for a good priced nail place. we found it!$20 to get a full set of acrylic nails. $15 for a fill and a new color.The owners are very nice and they remembered my friend and I from the first time we went there.
