This used to be my favorite place but somehow they keep getting rid of the BETTER people! First Tim now Tom hasn't been around so stuck with Ms.Tina. I usually do nails, brows, and lashes and the last time I went I took my three girls. Walking in the door I said what we needed; them, two sets and a mani pedi. Great conversation with lady next to me. They waited till after everything was done with the girls to start ANYTHING on me and by the time it was lashes it was closing time. Tina and a male were the only ones available. I should have known better and just came back another day because this woman's technique or lack thereof.....while applying I told her my eyes water a lot. Wasn't offered a fan or Q-tip until lashes ended up ON my eyelid! She did a rush job that at first look wasn't bad until I tried to close my eyes to sleep. She had glued some of the lashes to my skin and lashes so when I did a deep blink it would pull! I had to go out of town, which is why I got them in the first place, and as soon as I returned I called and told her she did a rush job and I can't close my eyes to sleep without suffering through pain! REMOVAL... I was hesitant to let Tina remove them but Tony hasn't been available. Tina used a Q-TIP to apply something to the lashes. Not at all mindful the lashes were stuck to my skin AND lashes, she just kept swiping ignoring my flinching and groans. Was handed a warm washcloth and told to wait 5 minutes then wipe. This was a first for me because usually they come off by themselves. I waited the allotted time and now the very cool towel helped to loosen all lashes except..you guessed it...the misplaced one! Whatever she applied burned like hell. I had no instructions besides wipe, no up, down sideways, so I tried All ways! This is how the chemical got into my eyes so after I got them all off I was afraid to open my eyes. This is were I had an issue. A customer should never feel uncomfortable and when I called Ms. Tina the shop went silent, I expected that and didn't care! She told me I could go and I told her my eyes were on fire. She had another employee come grab my arm, glasses, and wallet to walk me to the sink while they spoke whatever language and laughed. It's just a feeling that I was somehow part of their conversation and I know any woman that has been to these kinds of salons know what I mean. You can tell when they are talking about you. Anyway, they have the potential to be a decent place but will NEVER again allow Tina to touch my brows or lashes. Make sure you aren't being serviced close to closing because everything becomes rushed. Read Less

Tom and his sister used to be such good owners who treated their customers with nothing but great service and respect, but now they are horrible. They switch nail techs like every week so if you happen to like one its a strong possibility that they might not be there the next time u go. Another thing is if they mess up your nails the first time they will do a half ass job to fix it and when it breaks again or when the paint mess up they will over charge you to fix the issue, and every time I walk into that shop they change the prices so I pay more for the services. The Polish selection is the only reason that they're getting any stars the pedicure was is mediocre I have a hangnail on my toe when I got there and I still had it when I left I went back the next day so they can fix it my toe is still killing me, I know for a fact me and my mother spent approximate to $200 in that shop why do I still have a hangnail? #Basic Read Less

Long story short. I am particular about my nails, after having my nails done by Martha one day I noticed that the acrylic was too thick for my liking on two fingers and by the time I got home I hated the color. I go back to the shop and told the owner I wanted a polish change and acrylic file down. Martha was busy so I wanted about 15-20 minutes before she. Came to me saying that I had to pay for the polish change which I didn't mind at this point cause I hated the color just that much. Then she asked me to come back because no one else in the shop wanted to do it for me because "you give hard time". I am very particular about my nails and when I am not satisfied I voice that. But in their eyes that's "giving hard time" WOW, SO WHAT YOU AS THE COSTUMER THINK ABOUT YOUR NAILS will be viewed as "giving them a hard time" I was completely taken aback and I vowed not to every spend my money in this shop again. I absolutely love City Nails! Tiffany was so patient when painting my 2 year old daughters nails and was very courteous of her accompaning me! I was so happy with the precise effort she put into doing my nails! I've never been so satisfied as I'm a little picky about my nails! I have been going here for over a year and this place used to be great. I just left and my nails look horrible. They aren't even, the prices are inflated. For an overlay and a 35 dollar pedicure I was charged 102.00! The manicure was the ugliest thing I've ever seen. I'll never go back here again. Read Less

The first time I went they were awesome and cheap but now the are rude they half way did my nails and took a tip form my total and when my mom went to go get her eyelashes down Tony I think that is his name did one eyelash and left her sitting there to go do someone's nails 😣😣 Read Less

I started going here a couple years ago because Tony was there to do my eyelashes and he was great..now it has new ownership and it's still has been the best place to get my eyelashes and eyebrows done. The main guy Tom always does a great job and their hospitality is excellent! There's always customers going in there making a scene acting ghetto with their personal problems..but that has nothing to do with the actual place and their service. I came if with a picture that I had wanted done to my nails. First off the guy refused to use my real nails. They just needed to be filed and shaped but he didn't seem to thrilled so he put tips on. The towel was filthy and covered in tons of left over acrylic from previous clients. Nails turned out similar to the picture but colors weren't quite the same. Read Less
