HORRIBLE! When I first got in there the lady rushed me to tell her what I wanted, I told her then she refused to give me what I asked for so she could hurry up & finish me my nails look very bad! She was very rude and after the service was over she kept demanding a $5 tip the service was a disgrace. I went this morning to have my nails done. Mimi was my nail tech and she was awesome. She did an amazing job mirroring a picture I brought in of what I wanted done. I explained how I did not like long nails and she made very sure I was comfortable with the length of the nails before I left. She was nice to talk to, professional, and took pride in her work by ensuring everything was as perfect as could be. I will definitely be back to see her again!!! Read Less

Went back for first time after several months. My pedicure was horrible and it looks like a third grader painted them. Guess I'll start going back to my place in longview. None of the original people are even in there anymore. Pretty sad with my service. Read Less

I went in for a eye brow wax waited for about 15 mins and when the lady decided to show up I asked her if she could put something over the bedding that was on the "table" like thing we have to lay and she goes to say " it not dirty" and I'm clearly pointing to her and showing her where it looks like the sheet has not been clean in 2 decades and she gets a attitude and throws a clean sheet on top of it. She did my eye brows and I asked her if she could make them thinner becaus...e they still looked the exact same as when I had walked in. She re did them and they were STILL BUSHY! Not only were they still bushy but they were UN EVEN!!!!! She did not want to make them even and walked out the room. So I said be got damn if nobody fix my eye brows right now or imma walk out and not pay for anything because that's bad customer service. Well a lady working up front ended up sending another lady to fix them and make them even. All of their workers could clearly see my eye brows Were UN EVEN. I will not be back. I use to go here every time to get my nails done. I went for the first time last week, told him i wanted just tips that i could get filled and painted. He had a horrible attitude and did a half ass job. He told me a fill is 15 bucks. I go in today ( only 1 week later ) because they were literally falling off. The guy that redid them kept pushing for shalac. he did a better job than the initial guy but when i went to pay, they charged me 20. I told the lady they change the price and she laughed it off. Was happy with the girl that did my fill but was not happy that I went in for a fill and had the girl put a heart on each nail she talked me into getting a wax she went on and on how good she was she was very rough with the waxing and tosmorning I found spots that she missed after going in for just a fill and leaving with a $72 dollar bill she did the pink gel which I am sure cost more and didn't even ask me if it was ok? So very impressed with the customer service I received. My daughter got her nails done in longview on Friday. The guy there told her to go home and file them down herself. She is in 8th grade and very involved in sports. Her nails were way too long! Vip nails in kilgore filed them down and fixed a broken nail for her. Very reasonable price! ! This is my dear friends experience at this salon!On November 21, 2014, I went into the VIP Nail Salon in Kilgore, TX at approx. 12:30 pm to make an appointment for myself and some friends for that evening for a pedicure. After making the appointment, I turned to go out the door and I slipped but caught myself on the door so I did not fall. My ankle turned however and I heard it pop. (it had been raining that day) (to my recollection, there was not a wet floor sign out and there was not a mat). The “manager” (who is also the owner) responded by saying “oh, be careful”. I was embarrassed and thought perhaps I had just twisted my ankle so I limped out to my car and left. By the time I arrived back at work (approx. 5 minutes away), my foot was swollen and I could not walk on it. I had to be driven to the hospital by my employer and after xrays, I found out that I had broken my left Metatarsal #5. Later that evening, I went by the salon to take them my hospital paperwork and to get their insurance information. The “manager” at that point said “but you didn’t fall”. I told her “no, I didn’t but I twisted my foot and it’s broken”. She then told me that they did not have any insurance. She said that they had had someone fall outside their shop the year before and it cost them so much money that they could not afford insurance. She took my phone number and said that she would have the “owner” contact me. The owner has not contacted me at all as of this writing. I also tried to make contact through personal message on Facebook to which I received no response. A lawyer friend of mine sent them a letter requesting information and at that point, their insurance company (that they said they didn’t have) contacted him. I gave a statement as to what happened. To my understanding, their insurance company tried to also make contact to no avail and thus the claim has been denied. I do not have the money to continue pursuing this via the court system. I was just wanting the salon to pay the emergency room and doctor bills which come to approx. $2,000.00. I’m very disappointed in the fact that they could not respond and refuse to even acknowledge this situation and I don’t know what else to do about this. Read Less
