Like the previous reviewer, I also just had my extensions done for the first time by Sonia. And my aim here is certainly not to say that someone else’s opinion, experience, or feelings are invalid—however, I cannot say how different my experience was. I’ve been going to Maddy for a few years now. And when she mentioned that I should try extensions (after me whining about my short hair for so long) I was excited to give them a try even though I was a little gun-shy after a hor...rible experience at another salon (paid $1,000 and they fell out within days for my wedding) When Maddy went on maternity leave last week (yay babies! ) she referred me to Sonia. (This is saying a lot bc Maddy knows about my trust issues with stylists) Sonia did a phenomenal job today. The placement is great, blending is perfect. When I left the salon an hour ago with my new straight extensions, I was in love. Now that I got home and put a curling wand to them, I’m OBSESSED! I’ve had extensions going on 7 months now and I’ve never lost one or even had one slip. I’ve never had a poor experience at Heist with the stylists, receptionists, or owner. I’m so blessed to have found a place that makes this tired momma feel beautiful again. My only complaint is that I only have 5 stars to give. So to the previous reviewer, I totally get it if you’re exhausted, but if you give it another try and use their hair this time, I think you’ll love it. That’s what made all the difference for me. Because I didn't buy the hair extensions from them, she gave me a disclaimer on the product stating the negatives of what could happen because I didn't buy her brand of hair extensions. I told her that this was my first experience with them and I wanted it to go well. The next day I had another fall out. After I finally washed my hair, doing everything according to rule, I kept having extensions come out. I called and left a few polite messages with the receptionist making sure that she would receive them to see if there was any way we could fix my problem and make things work out. Nobody ever called me back. I’m extremely disappointed in the service and definitely not worth paying over 200$ for, especially if she didn’t know what she was doing. I can say this is the best salon I've been in..I just moved to kemah from an island.. my daughter was so happy with her hair for her ball not to mention did Anna is super friendly and professional ..you'll be seeing us a lot from now on! ! Read Less

Well, if you want a place that actually listens to how you want your hair cut and in return you get what you wanted, Heist Hair Bar is the place to go!! They’re simply amazing as it was my first time here, I will be going back. Unlike other so called salons in that area, that just cut how they think your hair should be; they take the time and the results are worth way more than they charge. This place is beautiful! I decided to phase out my highlights and bring most of my natural brunette back. D'Anna did a great job with leaving a few pieces of the lighter color and blending towards the bottom...i love it! The hours are convenient and it's close to everything. Stacy and Amber have been a godsend to my life. Ever so literally changed my world! Stacy where to start, she loves what she does and strives for the very best. Paid a lot of money for no real change, nor did stylist come close to a picture I originally showed her. Promised someone who specialized in the whole blonde balayage trend (my hair was already blonde with dark roots, so all I really needed was some blonde painted up) but stylist failed miserably. Stylist did offer to make changes, but I opted out (why waste time and healthy hair). I requested a partial refund, but was denied. I'm still paying  for the god awful hair 2 months later, for I had to pay another stylist to take out the bronzy brown tones(never requested)  and then another session to bring some blonde back.
