The place is beautiful i traveled to over 20miles to come here because it has the kids pedicure chairs. I was charged for a manicure and not one cuticle was clipped, hands weren’t soaked nothing. I had the dipping with my own nails not acrylic and you’re charged 40$. Then the nail tech took it upon herself to ask my six yr old if she wants designs without asking me and of course that’s extra. My daughter and I️ walked in on a Saturday afternoon and expected a long wait without an appointment. We were ushered back within 3-5 minutes. Worst experience i had so far! The tech didn't pay attention how she turned on hot water on... then cut me twice. Very rough handling.. pamper me became torture me. One hand done with some attention, the other was just swiped by the instrument barely and moved on to hurry up with ne and my annoyed self at this point. I chose not to have a nail polish done on both fingers and toes so i can get out. Not coming back and definitely do not suggest! When i was asked what happened i explained and i still got charged. 2 stars for great ambience but overpriced for shoddy job done. Girl ( can't remember her name) with short hair dyed a gold color was rough with the nails, breaking them as she filed. Cuticle looked so rough when she was done refilling my nails and applying shellac. She basically berated my choice of nail color, the brand I chose and my decision to wear my nails short because of my job. When I asked her to trim some loose skin which she left behind from filing, she angrily did while mumbling to herself that I should've just trimmed it at home. She was done with the entire thing in 30 min. And she and the guy who did my pedicure were talking about another customer in my presence! Wasn't a good experience - not for the price they charge. My first visit here was outstanding! I like that they offer an express pedicure because I don't often have time for the full pedicure experience. I like how they seem to have standardized processes that allow them to keep up with the traffic and keep themselves organized at the same time. Time will tell how the paint job holds up, but I expect that this will be the place I visit when I'm in the Richmond/Rosenberg area. Read Less

I had my eyelashes done there. I decided to try them because they were closer to my home. The young lady who did them had done a great job. I was informed to come back in for a refill in 4 weeks, which is what I did. They charged me $90 just for a refill. I know I did not need that much work done within 4 weeks time. I've had my lashes done plenty of times at an actual known eyelash facilities before without the need of such an extensive refill. It's been six weeks since my last visit. I called and asked how much for the refill. I was told $80. He told me that it would be that much because I took too long to come back. That answer did not sit well with me considering that I came back for the refill the last time when I was supposed to and was charged close to but more than the same price he quoted me. I felt like I was robbed and that they were attempting to rob me again. When I voiced the obvious to him, he immediately got off of the phone and called the assistant manager Brittany to the phone. She had no clue on how to answer the my question about me being OVER CHARGED during my last visit. I feel taken advantage of and I will NEVER return to their establishment again. If you go to them, I suggest getting prices, fees, and inflations for whatever reason up front. Make sure you pay whatever is quoted to you and not a penny more. Eyelash extensions - I was in about 3 weeks ago and Sophia helped me with a set of extensions that are amazing. I don't know how many complements I have received. She did such a great job after 3 weeks they are still in good shape and I am ready to go back and experience my first refill. I am completely new to this, I had a set put on a year or so ago while on a cruise and loved them, but of course that brand and those technicians aren't in the US. Sophia spent the time needed, payed close attention to detail and even though I don't want people to know my secret, because it took me so long to find a person and place that I was comfortable with, if eyelash extensions are what you are looking for Sophia and Nails of American maybe the solution. Hands down the worst experience I've ever had! The lady that did my nails made it seem like I only had the option to get powder with shellac over them because I was ruining my nails by having them soaked and filed down every time I get them redone and I've been getting acrylics for about three years now ... I had never had them soaked before today.. After telling them I'd never had them soaked before today they repeatedly told me that I had been getting them done wrong I've gone to them three times before today and again not once had I ever had my nails soaked.. My nail technician told me that I could get acrylics today, after I told her I wanted a light pink color, then when I was ready to get my color changed they could do shellac over it and that is what I assumed was happening.. But by the time I realized that was not what was happening it was to late. She was also very aggressive, she pulled at my arms like I was a puppet. And I chose not to say anything because I am not a controversial person but my sister in law convinced me to go back in and say something. Somehow my experience got even worse the owner kept arguing with me telling me that I have always been getting my nails done wrong, that getting them filed down was wrong, when I want a new set; when going from a light to a dark color ( I have done just that three other time at this nail salon ) after telling him this he said they have made some improvements.. I was there two weeks ago please tell me how many changes could have been made... and the nail technician kept telling me that this was not what she told me and there must have been a miscommunication and she was pinning it on me when it was obviously her fault.. she also told me that she could redo my nails and give me what I want but she would have to soak them and refile them down like I was inconveniencing her like the 50 dollars plus tip I just paid weren't in some way going back to her.. and as an argument that didn't need to happen continued the owner picked up a stamp card slapped it down on the counter and wrote 30% off and told me I could get 30% off of my next visit and the argument went on for a little while longer and eventually after having enough of it I said no it's okay I don't need 30% off my next visit because I will not be coming back! My nails also look terrible the color doesn't color all of the nail at the sides and when you look at the tip you can see the the clear pink powder.. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Bad management. The technicians don't listen to what you want. To fix their issues, you can pay the full amount plus 50% to get it fixed. If the second technician can't get it right, then you can stay for a third and waste more time. You're better off going to Lotus Nails. Read Less

Stopped in here because I had a gift card. My shellac nails look horrible. The color is extremely uneven where the technician missed some places on the second coat. She didn't paint all the way to the end of my nails on a few fingers so there is white poking through on some. I usually go to Oasis because it's right by my house and LOVE them, and I will definitely be sticking with them. I will not be going back to Nails America. Read Less

Being pregnant I really need a pedicure with no massage. They have that! And the cost is very reasonable. Did a great job!!!!!!! I will be back. My only complain is that they were using heavy cleaner to clean the floors while I was there it was already about 11-12 in the morning. I was sat pretty close to it and the smell was terrible and not good for me. I asked for a mask and that solved most of the issue, but I feel they should clean the floors earlier in the morning or later in the evening now when it's about the normal time ppl go and get nails done. Everytime I've come here I've had a great experience.I've gotten gel manis a few times and everytime it's lasted 2 or more weeks w no chipping. Yesterday I decided to get an acrylic full set and my tech did such a good job, she took the time with shaping my nails the way I wanted and I love my nails!
