I decided to try this place last week since it was close to my house and my time was limited before leaving on vacation the next day. I spent over $100 getting my nails and toes. Unfortunately the rhinestones fell of the next next while in Miami. My toes looked a hot mess. Stopped by this morning to have just the big toe re polished and the lady was terribly rude. Came here on a trip. I loved it. They are a little pricey but worth it. My nails came out really well when I came back to my normal go to place they clearly saw the difference in work!  Oh the alcohol is boxed wine but hey the idea is cute and you don't see that everywhere for a traditional nail salon. This is the worst service I've experienced at a nail salon. First of all, I told them I have a time limit. I am now over an hour late as a third person is still fixing the terrible gel pedicure another coworker of hers gave. I tried next gen for the first time and it looks awful. All the French tips are uneven. I was told it's my nail (which did not have issues before) or my skin, which was fine when I got here before everything. Stay AWAY from this place. WORST service and nail job I have ever gotten in my whole entire life. I asked for acrylic nail set with a gel nail polish. First off, they literally just picked any size of acrylic tip to put on even though it didn't match my nail size. Then came the powder. They did such a horrible job. And to top it off when the man was using the drill to file, it slipped IN HIS HAND and CUT ME. The drill LITERALLY FLEW OUT OF HIS HAND AND SLID on my finger and cut me as he was trying to do the job. Okay after the job was done (horrible job), I picked white as my gel color. i was one of the first girls there and I was not being attended by. A lady that arrived roughly 15 minutes after me was already paying. I spoke up and said something about it. They all started talking in their own language and I felt completely uncomfortable. The man finally applied the gel color, white, and finally 1 hour and 45 minutes later, I pay and leave. As I'm leaving, I'm looking down at my nails and well, you know how I picked the gel color white? THE TOP COAT WAS A NASTY BROWN. It reflected brown in the light making my nails look dirty and nasty. I went back in too show them and THEY WERE SO UNPROFESSIONAL about it. At first they said how it was the reflection of the pictures in the room, I disagreed and said how is that possible if I noticed outside. AND THEN they said how it's MY fault because I picked that nail polish. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS. I was so sick of them. I asked if I could just get them removed and get my money back. Don did my nails one week ago today. By day two, the dipping powder started breaking. The nail beds were very thin. I went back for him to correct. I waited for an hour and he proceeded to take another customer. He said I needed to wait for someone else. I waited about 15 mins longer before I blew the joint. The people here are nice, welcoming, my complaint is with their products. I asked for a dipping powder manicure, this usually lasts over two weeks. I got my nails done here on 6/14/16 and I now have to go to another nail salon to get them done correctly. Four nails on my right hand are broken and one on my right. The first lesson learned about this nail salon is do NOT be fooled by the flashy signage and marketing. I have been to nail salon in the "bum-frick" middle of no-where (Ala-dang-bama) that do a better job servicing nail and spa needs. The ladies in here barely make an attempt to speak English, and the Thai/Vietnamese conversations are constantly recoiling off the walls that Daredevil's broken Billy Clubs. I honestly would not recommend anyone to come here EVEN if you are pressed for time. A lady named Uyen(?) helped me, and helped is for lack of a better term.I was quoted $25 for a full set, plain acrylic, nothing extravagant. I made the appointment before leaving my office, so that I would have a person ready to go as soon as I arrived. The girl answering the phone was sweet and informative. However, when I got to the salon, it was a different story. I walked in, stated my name and why I was there at my appointment time, and was told to wait while everyone was speaking in Vietnamese. 10 minutes after my appointment, I was shown to my seat with someone who looked like they didn't want to do a full set :(Clearly, I knew that no one had a freaking clue what was going on. I may not speak Vietnamese, but you could sense how unorganized everything was. This place had a grip of people too! I sat down, repeatedly told Uyen(?) that I didn't want anything on top of my acrylic set. She was pushy and wanted to me get something shiny on top. No. No. No. She still didn't get it. She filed down my nails, glued on the tips, and started on the powder. Oh boy. The powder. Thick as a freaking stack of papers. I looked like I had nubs for finger nails. I asked her to file down the powder more, but she didn't do much but run the drill over it. In the middle of cleaning up my cuticles, a customer walked stating that they needed a wax. This lady is filing down my nails with a drill and not even looking down to see what she was doing!!!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!I yanked my left hand away from her and that's when she finally noticed me. This is when she tells me to hold on since she was clearly the lady that does the waxing. When she got back, I just let her know that I was running late. Most of the nail techs there are not very skilled at what they do. Their work is not up to par at all and they charge you extra for unnecessary things. I got a polish change on my hands and feet and also got my 11-yr old daughter's feet polished and it was $43!!! My polish was too thick (too many coats) and they had nothing to help dry your nails!!! My nail tech clipped my nails before doing the polish change on my feet, and clipped them way too short!! My skin underneath my nail was sticking out farther than my nail!!! She didn't have enough knowledge/experience to know how far to clip them!! Then she got mad at me and started yelling at me when it was time to pay because I was outraged by the charges for 2 polish changes!!! We got into a big argument!!! My 17-yr old daughter also got a full set with designs and rhinestones done, which she paid for herself, and they were shaped completely wrong and her tech did not put super glue on the rhinestones to make them stay on, nor did she put glue on any kind of nail polish on top of the rhinestones to prevent them from coming off so easily. This place is also owned by the people behind Hawaiian Nail bar. I didn't know it until halfway through my service. At that point I knew I would walk out disappointed. The beach theme is prevalent. The prices are pretty much the same. The mediocre at best service is the same.I had a gel manicure removed and replaced with regular polish. I have never had gel polish before so I wasn't extremely knowledgeable about the removal process but I had watched other places do it by covering nails with acetone soaked cotton wrapped in aluminum foil over just the finger tip. I will not return to this place. Instead of soaking off the gel polish with a small bit of cotton, the tech scrape off layers of polish with a file and her finger nails then had me hold my hand in a bowl of acetone! For three days my skin peeled, cracked and bled thanks to that lady's technique. Once that chemical torture is done instead of wiping off the dissolving polish she takes another file to my nails. I have ridges all over my nail beds because of that. You can see it under the polish.I had a red standard formula polish applied. My 4 year old niece may be able to apply it better.Disappointment all around. I have two stars because the place was very clean and the staff at least tried to be friendly and personable. Got the best pedicure ever here from thao. She took her time and i was so happy because my feet are no easy task. ( i got there early while they were not busy) my feet have never looked better. Like one of the previous reviews, this place is similar to Hawaiian Nail Bar. I had a good experience. I would've given them all 4 or 5 stars, but they got really busy during my appointment and the techs that were servicing me (I got fill and pedi at the same time) had to keep stopping and I feel like I was a wee bit slighted on my massage. I LOVED THE way Vivian did my nails and the guy that did my pedi wasn't too bad either. Although, they got really busy, they tried to stay attentive to everyone. They made sure to keep everyone in order of arrival and no one was made to feel more important than the next  (that's a big deal for me).They kept my wine "glass" full and I LOVE the finished product of both my fingers and toes. I went here with my friend, because this is her "go to" nail place.  I just got a simple shellac manicure, and she got a mani and pedi. As soon as we sat down, they offered us something to drink: pina coladas, strawberry daiquiris, wine.  We both got the strawberry daiquiris, and took our time figuring out what color to do our nails.  I chose a fun coral color, and she chose a lavender/grey color. The lady who helped me was nice and fast, her name was Vivian, and I would definitely recommend her.My friends go to person is Mike, and he did a really good job on her nails.Definitely will come back here! I didn't get my nails done so I can only comment on my pedicure service and the atmosphere.I've been wondering about this place after reading previous reviews and felt really dumb that it's right next to a sandwich place I go to a couple of times a month.of course I park on the side and just run in.First of all it's very festive, I was approached as soon as I walked and asked to choose my polish for my pedicure and informed there would be no wait. The water was running when I got to my chair and she asked about the temperature. I noticed they used plastic liners which I live. She showed me the list of the array of pedicures they offered and got started. There were 3 other ladies there 1 a regular who raved about the service. She wasn't wrong. I received one of the best pedicures ever.Anyone can polish your toes but the foot massage and the leg message were worth the price, which honestly wasn't too high.I have found my new pedicure spot. It's a better version of Hawaiian Nail Bar. Same cute beachy theme but not overly cheesy. It's newer (2 months), bigger, brighter.... better. What else? Lots of memorable aspects of this place:1. They've got colorful sweet smelling house-made foot scrubs. 2. They have an array of clearly labeled colors and quality polishes that aren't watered down or super old. 3. They have complimentary wine, margaritas and daquiris (woo hoo)! 4. They are open pretty late.5. Your nails won't chip. They offer acrylic colored powder instead of polish that is guaranteed to last unlike conventional polish.6. They have a karaoke bar! Yes, you read that right. I assume it's for birthday parties, etc. 7. They actually know how to do unique nail designs and shapes and provide samples.8. It's pretty new and thus not discovered by the masses. That means that it's usually not really busy and you don't have to wait all day for a walk-in appointment.Overall I was pleasantly surprised.
