I confirmed over the phone that they accept walk ins. They do. They just have you wait for hours. I walked in for a full set. They said 15 min. Waited 30 min. A tech came in to just to take off my existing acrylics. That took about 40 min. (why so long? idk) they told me to wait another 15 min. they are short on acrylic techs that day. they kept attempting to sell me the dipping powder even though I declined it a few times ahead. I decided to try this place out and I'm deeply regretful. I contracted a bacterial infection after getting nails done here a week and a half ago. Two of my nails are green. I took pictures as evidence. My nails were not properly placed. Will never return. I went in person to show them my nails and they gave me fungal ointment but it will be months before this green stain grows off my nails. Will be filing a complaint with the Texas licensing board. Lana did my nails so perfectly. I have to admit that the dip powder that she did was as good as I wanted, conservative and not thick at all. The only negative is that my nail cut is done in round square or kind of squares. Definitely not coffin I believe. I get my nails pretty often; and with the perks of understanding Vietnamese, I get to know what the nail techs are talking about behind their customers back (or rather, in front of their face). This was my first time at Nail Lounge. I walked in and asked for a set of nexgen. They sat me down with Helen. She started removing the existing nexgen layers I have on, and complained about how ugly my nails are. I picked my color, she prepped my nails, the usual. As she worked on my nails, I heard her say to another tech that the color I picked was hideous, "for an old woman" were her words. After she shaped both of my hands, I placed each fingers side by side to compare the length. She immediately reacted "are you serious?! I don't have time for this". They ended up being uneven, I was too scared to ask her to fix them. Just like when she cuts me with the filer and glared at me when I said "ouch". Not to mention I was never once offered drinks.Needless to say I will not be coming back to this place. Of course I have only had experience with one nail tech here; but seeing how management does not mind providing horrible customer service, I doubt my next experience will be any different. Just okay. When walking in it's a larger nail salon and the chairs are all lined up on one side. The polish wall had plenty of colors and the color options for dip were in a plastic box and just overwhelming to look at. I didn't feel instantly comfortable when walking in, in hindsight I should've walked away. The ladies who worked on me were nice enough but did not engage or try to make conversation instead spoke to other co-workers. I opted for a deluxe pedicure which is already messed up and have NEVER had that happen in the 20 years of going to salons. They were quick though but maybe that's not a good thing. I came with my sister in law to this nail place because she highly recommend. My nails were done by Hanna and may i said not happy at all. I wanted my nails coffin and she went crazy filing the sides that made it look super slim. I wanted chrome color which is applied with powder. She looked as she never done it because she re-did the nails 3 times. And not matching color pointed out by my husband!!Came back today 3/13/18 to get my nsils fix because paint started chipping. This time another lady Stacy was taking care of my nails.. AGAIN she had no idea what she was doing. Told me to just leave my nails without chrome beause color will chip anyways. This place is okay. I am fairly particular about my nails but I tried their dip powder/SNS service the first time I found this place. My actual nails broke fairly quickly underneath the dip powder and I decided to go else where for a fix. I don't think I'd recommend this shop for dip powder sets if you have longer nails that you want to keep healthy and strong. I can't speak for gel or regular polish services. Their pedicures are also hit and miss. The service itself is great-- massage chairs, multi options of pedicures, friendly staff-- but the end quality is not what I expect. My most recent encounter resulted in my nails being cut too short and at an angle. The polish is not even and there is polish on my skin. Yikes!Despite the great/friendly staff I think you'd be best by scheduling an apt with someone that is highly recommended from this shop. Otherwise you're playing a dangerous game of fluctuating quality. I recommend this place overall for basic services. She's very creative and doesn't try to rush through which I think is where a lot of the cuts we all get seem to end up coming from (not fun) so I truly appreciate that about her and she's very good at her skill. Save your time, your trouble, and your money!! I was with a bridal party where reservations were made months in advance. We were rushed to sit down to get started and to pick our colors. Inly problem we all wanted the same type of nails and there’s only one basket of colors. I chose to do the nexgen nails and a deluxe pedicure with gel on my toes. The pedicure was great, except for the fact that it’s not even a day after and the gel is peeling off my toes. I’ve literally ne...ver had this happen before and I’ve been doing gel on my toes for 2 years now. Moving on to the nexgen manicure... This. Was. The. Worst. manicure I have ever received. I been getting my nails done for over 10 years and when I say this was the worst, I absolutely mean it. Snow just kept cutting my “cuticles” (aka my skin and nails) shorter and shorter. My nails are now oddly shaped with part of my natural nail/skin around the nail gone, I kept looking at my nails and noticing spots she was missing, like the entire side of my middle fingernail and she claimed that was my cuticle and cut it off. Then dipped what she couldn’t cut so now I have oddly shaped nails and uneven dips/shades of the selected color. You can clearly see and feel where extra blobs of the dip were not smoothed over, its jagged, bumpy, discolored and one of my fingers has a chip out of the area that’s supposed to have color. I took my eldest daughter and myself to get a mani pedi. My daughter's first experience of getting acrylic nails done. The staff made me feel very uncomfortable, they seemed confused themselves. I had to tell the lady that she forgot to do my left foot for the pedicure part for callus removal ect. My daughter's nails were left uneven, underneath not cleaned from paint, black acrylic, and excess acrylic. My nails too were not shaped appropriately either. Hands down the nicest nail salon I have ever been to. My sister just moved to the area and on a recent visit we decided to give Nail Lounge a shot. I chose this location off of other yelpers reviews and photos. I made us appointments, and it was a good thing I did! When we got there, around 5:30 pm on a Monday afternoon, the place was packed. Despite that we were taken right away. After greeting us we were asked if we wanted anything to drink (everything from water to margaritas, and all complimentary!) I got a gel manicure and was very pleased with the service provided, I've gotten a few compliments on my nails. My sister got the dip powder treatment, something neither of us have ever seen up in NJ. Her nails came out beautifully. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a salon in the area, but make sure to make an appointment. So this place has good reviews and seems very clean. It looks great and well maintained and they have a wide selection. A friend and I went there last night for mani pedis. I got dipped tips, which turned out amazing. However, they somehow managed to file my friend's thumb nail with a jagged edge (she didn't notice until we were in the car and didn't want to go back). It was hilarious but the opposite of professional. And then my pedicure is chipped on half my toes and it's only the second day. So whatever finishing polish they used was crap and cheap, which sucks when you're buying a 30+ pedicure. I could have done a better job at home. They also did a pretty bad job exfoliating my heels... both my feet are peeling dead skin today because they didn't really try very hard apparently to help me have beautiful feet.But my manicure looks amazing! I came in here one day for a pedicure randomly and had a good experience, so I told myself I would return to this location for my usual dip manicure. I let too much time pass from my previous manicure that I just removed the dip myself and eventually came back in here.My nails not being the length I wanted them to be, I got tips. Now, I've been going to nail salons for 15 years. At least 15 salons by now since I move often. Never have I paid extra for tips. I have paid extra for coffin style tips, but that's much extra work and time, so I accepted. The lady at the front or the manicurist didn't tell me, a manager (I think) told me as my card was already being swiped. OKAY? My card was being swiped and I wasn't even told the total at all either. My nails were decent. Though much more square than I wanted. I did specify I wanted them more rounded out, but didn't get that. Some people had wine and I wasn't even offered water. Meh. This was my first time at this nail salon. Let me just say I was blown away by the service and professionalism of the staff! I went in for a pedicure and left feeling relaxed and absolutely happy with everything. I came in late in the afternoon after work and the place was packed. Fortunately, my man Tai was able to get me a spot almost right away! He was a huge help by explaining the different pedicure packages and recommended their Heavenly pedicure. I got the Heavenly pedicure from Kat and she was amazing! I highly recommend Kat for your pedicures if you're looking for someone who does it right. Let me just say I was very pleased with my services. I had to get an appointment in somewhere before I headed out of town since I broke a nail, needed a fill, and my girl was booked solid. I read the reviews, looked at pictures, and decided that this place was my best bet. Came in, and they were extremely busy. I mean BUSY. Kelley was very nice, and greeted me right away. told her I would like a fill and pedicure if time allowed (as it was 6:30pm). She said, "yes we have time". So I signed in, picked out my color, and waited. I didn't wait more than 5 minutes and I was in a chair. I sat there about 5-10 mins before they started my toes. Which wasn't that bad of a wait time imo. Then a young guy did my pedicure. He was great. I sat in the chair waiting for my toes to dry, and for my fill. When I got up, come to find out they forgot about my fill. I was a little upset, but Kelly said it would only be a couple more mins if I didn't mind staying late. I told her I didn't. Soon after I sat down at a table, another lady helped me. I should've gotten her name, because she did great. Shape was great, and she was fast. She didn't talk much, but it was 8pm and I am sure she was tired. I came in about 11 on a Wednesday morning and the salon looked packed, but they were able to seat me immediately. I opted for the dip powder with tips since I bite my nails down to nubs. The young man who did my nails was not very talkative, but fine by me since I'm not chatty usually. He was quick but attentive to the detail of my nail and making sure the color and shape was okay with me. I didn't feel rushed considering they seemed very busy. Overall, I had a great first experience and will definitely come here again the next time I treat myself to get my nails done. Debated whether I'd leave this review or not. Their current overall rating is 4.5 stars, so I was thinking that maybe I just had a rare bad experience. But then I saw recent reviews that were just as negative and realized my experience wasn't that uncommon at this salon. They're customer service just sucks. I made an appointment for a mani/pedi at noon on Saturday of last week. This was my first time going to this salon so I got there about 5 minutes early. When I walked in, I couldn't believe how busy they were. No one greeted me, rude but not unforgivable. So I picked out my color and waited for someone to acknowledge my presence. A couple minutes later, a woman who had a 12 o'clock appointment like me walked in. She was greeted and seated immediately. I walked forward so someone would have to speak to me and they finally did. When I was sat, I did the usual. Adjusted the chair to my liking, turned on the massage feature, and put my feet in the water. It was warn, but no jets like I'm used to from other salons. The girl doing my pedicure gave me a menu and asked which one I wanted. I went with the Deluxe to get some extra callus removal. It is Spring and sandal season. The manager, Christian, came up and asked if I had ever done NexGen (dip nails). When I told him I had and didn't care for them, he asked about gel polish and adjusted the back of my chair so I was leaning back more. I stopped him and told him I had already adjusted my seat and was fine. Put the seat back to how I liked it and reiterated that a regular manicure was what I wanted. Would you believe the guy who did my manicure moved my chair back too? What is with these people? Those chairs are about the customer's comfort, not the manicurist's. Anyway... The guy doing my nails was moving so fast and not paying attention that he cut me. He apologized several times. I told him to slow down. I wasn't in a hurry. At one point a lady came in with her husband. She walked up to Kim, the girl doing my pedicure, and asked if she remembered her husband. Of course she said yes. Turned out the lady requested she do his pedicure again. As Kim's doing my pedicure, other staff members are rushing her to finish so she can work on him. When Kim was putting the topcoat on, they pulled her away from me and had someone else finish. Hello! I'm still here! She had three toes to put the topcoat on and then slip on my flip flops. It might have taken her 30 more seconds. That guy couldn't have waited? Customer service is seriously lacking here. My rushed pedicure resulted in a bad pedicure. "Had an appointment" at 5:30 pm on a Friday before a Holiday. I knew it would be busy but I didn't expect the treatment I got and it was very unpleasent. I left there with my middle right finger cut on the end . He was in such a hurry that when he was getting my old gel off before saking them to soften them up, the metal rotary device burned through and made me jerk my finger back making me scream and it cut end of my finger when I pulled back, He said it was my fault. That I should not have jerked my hand that way. I said to him. Whom hurt who ??? I told him he should slow down please. Geeez, I will not be going back to that location ever. Didn't even say he was sorry for hurting me. That told me alot about the place. First of all, let me confess that this was my first pedicure in U.S. It was a great experience, but there are couple of things I want to point out. Good Stuff- Very presentable and accommodating staff- Clean, hygienic, and professional salon- They make sure you are comfortable and relaxed by offering you a beverage (wine, margarita, soda, water)- They have good massage chairs that keep you happy until your pedi/ mani is completedBad stuff- Staff is not very interactive and open (maybe not true for every staff member)- No directions are given to a first- timer (explained in greattt detail below)- You get to see the pricing and services offered after your feet is deep inside the soapy water (so there is no going back)I walked into this place and the owner greeted me and asked me what service I needed. I told him I wanted to get a pedicure and he pointed towards the nail paint collection he had. I chose one color and stood there blankly, expecting him to say something. Since I didn't know how they do it here, I was a little shocked and disappointed with this situation. And he seemed to be not bothered by this somehow, so I asked him what kind of pedicures do you have?And he points to this girl who was apparently the staff member prepping up for my pedicure.Wish he had explained what exactly he was envisioning..lol. But I had to ask him multiple questions: What do I do? Where do I go? You want me to follow her? Who are you pointing to? Which girl? Should I go sit or talk to her? Damn! It was annoying. So I followed some random girl that I thought he was pointing to and she turned around and smiled. I saw an empty massage chair that had a tub attached, filling with hot water, so I hopped into the chair and waited for her to come back. She got some towels and the sheet with the details of services. Phewww...it was exhausting to get till the chair in the first place, I just prayed that they do it well. By the time she started pouring soapy liquids in the water, I got my hands on the prices. Since it was my first experience, I wanted to get the cheapest service which was $39. :/ I felt it was overpriced but I could not say Nooo because my feet were in the freaking water. So I decided to sit and chill. She offered a beverage & I got the white wine.The whole pedicure experience was very good and professional. But the girl did not say a word the entire time and didn't even smile. I do not like non- friendly people!!! Such a buzz kill! She could have at least asked me if I am enjoying this or not. Since she did not explain me what stuff she was using on my feet, so I cannot comment about it :( but the scrub and other orange stuff made my feet look pretty :) Massage sucked though! No pressure at all, she was just moving her hands around my feet and staring at the wall or something. Well, anyways overall it was a good experience and the poor sad girl did her best. I was scared that I wouldn't be able to find a good nail salon after I moved out of my hometown., but i fough this place. Thank god because good nails are super duper crucial to life. Great shaping and the tech is SO detailed! I've already gotten so many compliments on my nail game. The rest of staff is so sweet and so adorable!!! This will for sure be my new go to! I got a mani and pedi with 2 other friends here yesterday. I loved the vibe of this place, the design is beautiful. My gel last for over 2 weeks. Manicure ladies are very nice. They offer a thousand of colors to choose from, Will definitely be back moore regular! Read Less

I went in with my friend to get a pedicure. I was very impressed with the service and ambiance. The furniture and equipment used in the salon seemed top notch. I am a freak when it comes to cleanliness and they passed with flying colors. They made us feel very welcome. I will definitely be back here. I would recommend this place. Read Less

I was really impressed with this nail salon. We had a large group of girls and everyone was pleased. The manicures and pedicures were so relaxing and they even give you a little massage during your manicure. They also don't let you leave without perfect nails. Overall, this was a fantastic find.
