Definitely not worth the cost. I went there today while I was having my car worked on. This place had the highest reviews in the area. Upon entering the nail salon there was no one there to greet me. The sign outside said walk ins welcome, but the lady doing my nails definitely was complaining about walk ins not having appointments. I like getting a gel pedicure and luckily they do that there so that was good. The pedicure chairs are pretty standard massage chairs and the tubs for feet are kept sanitary with plastic covers.I picked out a blue and asked if they could do a design and they said yes. I picked out a pedicure that supposedly had a massage and some stuff to put in the water and good lotion. All I actually got was a quick scrub of lotion and a hot stone rub that was mediocre at best.The blue color was great but the lady forgot about the design. She remembered at the end and when I showed her the picture again she said she couldn't do that. I asked what she could do and she said flowers. I said ok. She kept drawing flowers and then erasing them and drawing them and erasing them. Then she decided to make some dots on my toes and put a little shiny bedazzle stone in the middle. She asked if I liked it. I lied and said yes because I just wanted to be done. It looks terrible. I gave her my card and it came out to $70. I can't believe how expensive it is for what you get. Came here because my normal place was to busy. A few things off the bat, although they weren't busy no one was at the front to greet customers and there was no music. It seemed my manicurist was not well trained. It took about an hour for a normal gel manicure and was left with 3 cuts on my fingers where the emery board hit skin. To top it off I'm a week in and the paint, which normally lasts me 3-4 weeks, is already chipping on multiple fingers. So i was in the area so I stoped into this place based on good reviews. I walked in and it looked closed, i heard people yelling in the back. I waited 5 minutes and no one came to the front so finally i walked up to a lady in the back for her to help me. I set down to a cold feeling salon, with no music and no one else in there. The lady handed me samples of dip colors. There were no grays or light blues (which i usually wear.) I asked her and she pulled out a box of "new colors for me to pick from." It took her about an hour. Overall i would say the dip looks good, but not super clean.. didn't do a base coat, and it is thin. She looked under my nails but didn't remove the left over dip. I wasn't offered a drink. Also there were 3 other nail ladies listening to YouTube videos on their phones the whole time while the lady doing my nails spoke in her own language and laughed at the videos that i couldn't understand. It was an awkward experience. I've been getting my nails dipped consistently for 3 years and this has been my least favorite salon. Read Less

This by far is one of the best Nail Salon I've attended. Went in on a Saturday around noon to have a mani, pedi and eyebrow wax. The staff was so friendly and my nail technician took time to engage in conversation with me. I didn't feel rushed even though it was a busy day. I felt so relaxed and welcomed. Zero stars!!!!! Actually negative stars my roommate just got home from this establishment and they should be ashamed at how they treat people! She came home in tears! She did not even get her nails done cause after an hour! Yes I said an hour of sitting with her fingers dipped in extremely hot acetone took her fingers out and was asking to please take them off another way and needed to rest her fingers that were in agonizing pain just to have the rude lady come and forcefully grab her hand and slam it back into the bowl saying you sit longer!! Wtf?!!! She was then told by lady who was doing her boyfriend pedicure they were trying to get another worker to do her nails cause of other uncivilized lady that should not even be employed there or better yet if u are in a bad mood dont be around!!!! I came to relax after a day of training in the area. I'm traveling from Houston. I loved this place! Everyone was exceptionally welcoming and attentive. I got the milk and money pedicure. It was so relaxing and both technicians were friendly and would talk to me. They were very gentle and did not rush. Came here for the first time to try it out and I am not impressed. Before I sat down to get my pedicure I had to brush toe nail clippings off my seat. When my nails were done the lady didn't even let me sit for my nails to dry. She insisted that I get up and walk to the front to pay literally like two seconds after my nails were done being painted. I may have accidently ended up here but I read so much about Tracey and had to give it a shot! They did a great job and I have to note that I loved that they were competing with each other over customers and were genuinely happy. They chatted you up just enough but would also keep to themselves when I was chatting with my friend. I'm always afraid of the cuticle cutting (because of too many bad experiences!) but Tracey never snipped me once and was super fast! She did a wonderful job shaping my nails and painting. She was good all around and I was her last customer so I can't imagine how good she is when she isn't at the end of her day!Definitely give them a try! Read Less

This is one of the best nail salons I've been to in a while. The entire place was sparkling clean, the ladies were very nice, and the service didn't take too long. I got exactly what I asked for and my nails look awesome. I also appreciate that they ask you what scent you want for all of your scrubs and lotions. The only reason I give a 4 is because I feel like the massage on my feet could've been better. She kind of rubbed rather than massaged. But this will definitely be my go-to salon for the time being! Came her to relax and get a pedicure and that's exactly what I got. Relaxation. The people where wonderful and helpful. They had wine and margaritas even though they did take a minute to offer them in the end we still got them lol. I would recommend this place to anyone. I drove about 20 minutes to come here. It takes time but it was worth it I plan on making this my go to spot. I got the milk and honey pedicure which I would recommend it includes the hot stone which feels good. I went with my friend here for the first time and apparently they have a whole cooler of beverages. Water, wine etc. no one offered us anything when we sat down to get a pedicure. I got the 35 dollar one. She did a good job with the pedicure. I thought it was crazy to get rid of callouses it was $5.00 extra even with a non-basic pedicure. Lux Spa is the best!! Friendly staff, clean, and they do great work. I happened upon them 7yrs ago when I lived across the street and after a few visits I got Tracy and I've been with her every sense. Tracy is very meticulous with her work and she gives amazing massages (she spoils me lol). Walked into a beautiful, clean, spacious atmosphere. I got lucky there was not a full house so I was quickly taken back to start on my pedicure and fill-in. Ms Tracey did my gel fill-in and Ms Theresa did my Pedicure. Both amazing women. Good conversation and stellar end result. I think I have found my new regular spa. I am new to the DFW area and for me when I find a place I like I am one to be a loyal and returning customer. They offer so many services and if the rest are as good as my first experience then I have made the best choice in choosing them. I can't wait to see them in two weeks! The absolute worse experience EVER!  Haley cannot cut curly hair. After asking if she can cut curly hair and showing her the photo of how I wanted my hair she confirmed that she absolutely was able to cut my hair as requested. Then Haley proceeded to cut my hair waaaaay too short followed with trying to argue with me about how the cut looks. My friend and I walked out. I would not recommend anyone to this place. The staff are rude!!!. They always rush!!!... I've got a $55 pedicure and I expect to enjoy my pedicure. I love going to this place because I am treated like a family member.  I've been going to the same person, Tracy Vu  for almost 11 years now and she's the best manicurist that I have ever been to. I have referred many people to her and others and most of them have become regulars. All of the ladies in there do an excellent job so you'll always come out satisfied.  It's nice to go a sit and relax in the new spa chairs while sipping on wine, a margarita or just water or soda. I was in desperate need of a haircut, so I went on a Friday evening on a whim. It is actually a nail salon with a small room for the hair stylist. She was quick and did exactly what I asked. My haircut (long layers) was very Asian-looking, probably because the dresser was Asian. Though not what I expected, it turned out great. Cost was affordable as well. I decided to get pedicure before my trip, of course I searched yelp close from my place. This location had pretty good reviews so I decided to try. I walked in & it was just normal. It had been awhile I got my pedi done so I wanted to get a good one. This lady who did my pedi, she was nice but I was so disappointed. I sat in the chair & soaked my feet for barely 5mins. She asked me what I want so I told her I want to try "classic pedi". She suggested more expensive treatment l, I told her I want to see how good she does it & I will come back if classic is good. She took my foot out & put some cream, put it back to water, grab the other foot, put some cream then start working on my left foot: didn't even give my skin to soak in the water. She was almost completed & about to put polish, I touched my feet, callus was still there. I asked her & she said "that is included in deluxe not in classic pedicure. If u want, I can do for u $5 more"Really??? So I barely soak my feet & she didn't even remove callus, who would pay $25 for it?? Then charge me $5 more for why I came in for?? I never had a pedicure without removing callus nor pay addition to get it done. So I told her fine I will pay additional $5 for it. It's like u go in for a burger, paid then they give u only fries. U go in to a massage place, paid for one hour full body but all u get is just foot massage for 30 mins I am sorry but it isn't easy to make money but what she did, that was rip off! Top of that she couldn't even polish my toes! Polish was all over my cuticles & in an angle. I made her redo two toes on my left & two on my right. Some reasons she was shaking so bad when she was polishing it. When it was done, I wasn't happy camper! What a rip off! I paid her exact $30 without tip & no smile from me! You really have to go. From the outside you think it's just a small nail spa, but when I went in I was extremely surprised. It's so spacious, upscaled, elegant, and relaxing. I was greeted by a friendly and well spoken lady that was very helpful to help me pick out a color. I was convince into doing an organic pedicure that the manicurist suggested that it was their best pedicure and that I get more massaging. My pedicure took an hour long and man did I enjoy every minute of my "more massaging". They also offered complementary wine and drinks which I asked for a glass of merlot. I wouldn't suggest this place at all. I went in with my sisters for birthday Pedi’s and we had 3 regular Pedi’s and 1 citrus upgrade. My lady worried about her phone the entire time. She was returning calls and responding to text messages while working which made my Pedi take even longer. Another lady didn't even buff my sisters feet and her polish was thicker on some nails and she tried to blame the shape of her nails and some nails she didn’t even trim or file. My polish and one of my sisters polish started coming off the next day after 1 shower and because we had a busy weekend planned there was no time to go back. The wine was okay but the water wasn't even cold and as it's June in Texas room temperature water is not refreshing at all. I'd suggest spending your money elsewhere. Read Less

I walked in with a girlfriend of mine for a quick Birthday pedi. They asked us to pick out colors and we were going through the rack. I picked up one that had a plastic sleeve on it, as did about 1/2 the others on the rack. The bottle fell out of the sleeve and shattered, spraying nail polish all over my friend, my self, and their tile floor. They didn't react when we asked for something to start cleaning up ourselves with, and instead went to cleaning the floor. They grabbed one of my shoes and hit it with acetone, taking the color with it. Same with my girl friend. We ended up able to get the majority of it out of our clothes, but when I suggested they take off the plastic sleeves I was told I didn't hold on to it and I dropped it. So we sat in the chair for our pedi's and for them to scrub off the paint on our legs. The women asked if I wanted a "green tea" pedi. I said no. She asked again. I said I don't know what it is. She told me it was more relaxing and more massaging. And I just gave a whatever and picked up the pricing book. $45! I then said no - and was told it was too late to go back since she had already dropped in the tea bag. They did the same to my friend without asking. So I got to pay $90 (that had no extra massage or relaxation), and have ruined shoes for me & my friend.As we left the lady also told me, as we left an hour and half later, that sometimes acetone will eat holes in your clothes, after that's what they handed us to wipe off our clothes with. Really lacking in customer service or care. They need to get the plastic sleeves off the bottles. Will not go back. Read Less
