I got my nails done here for my wedding. They normally do a decent job but this time was horrible. They only had one lady doing gel nails and I feel she rushed because of that. My nails chipped and were discolored just a few hours after I left. I wasn't even able to get them fixed before the wedding because I had no time. They look even worse now and it's only been a week! They never acknowledged anybody that walks in the door. They're so rude. I've tried time and time again to go there cause it's so close to home but it's the same thing every time. Since they were busy when I went, they rushed my nails, I went in wanting a dip, but since she said they could only use a matte top coat on the gel nail polish (like I usually do) I went with that. After she was all done with my nails, I noticed they were glossy af and I asked her about it and she says "oh no, only on regular nail polish." BULL💩 Idek how many times I've had my nails done (usually gel) and gotten a fckn matte top coat. It's really not hard, but it would've taken her 2 more minutes...AND there's nail polish on my fingers.. The only reason I would feel they even deserve 1 star is bc the shape is nice. Read Less

My friend took me here for the first time and ever since I have been going back to get my nails done. I have naturally long nails and I'm very picky about the shellac quality and application. The shellac has lasted me 4 weeks. My nails grow out before it chips! Read Less

I went this past Saturday and asked for the dip powder nail manicure. I've done this before here and paid $35. By the time I noticed she was rushing with my manicure she was already starting to massage my hands. They typically do each hand for a few minutes but they had several people waiting so she did it for less than 10 seconds each hand. I barely had a chance to ask why she hadn't soaked my hands in warm water & cut my cuticles before she moved on to the next hand. Her explanation was that they charge $5 for that and I hadn't asked for it. I've had plenty of manicures and they ALWAYS include soaking your hands/cuticles trim so her explanation made no sense. She ended up charging me $30 since I brought it up but technically it was more like a polish change so I shouldn't have even paid that much but it was my birthday and I wasn't letting them rain on my parade. They also skipped me when a wax came in. Anytime someone comes in for a wax you will be skipped since it's a quick service. After she started she even found a stopping point to do another wax and made me wait. My money is just as green as the next person and my time is just as valuable. I will never go back. If you don't mind waiting forever for less than what you paid for then settle for this place. Read Less

Got my nails done here for my baby shower and the girl who did mine was so great! She is very thorough and made sure they looked perfect... She easily noticed little things that I otherwise wouldn't have...and started over just to make sure they looked great!! And they did!!! Read Less

Horrible service. I was going to this place due to convenience. The first couple of times they did a decent job. However, the last two times I went there I was left soaking for over an hour and watched them work on people arriving after me. From what I could tell they did not have an appointment. The last time I ended up having to walk out with the foil still on my nails after waiting an hour. I have had the experience with the botched nail removal process (rip them off with an acrylic piece) but it has only happened once. Since then, I've been getting them done by one of the other ladies and she does a magnificent job of just filing them down and replacing them. She's also very good at nailing (no pun intended) the shape you ask for. Read Less

Waste of money. So disappointed. I get home to see that half of my nail isn't painted. I asked if she can do a light pink on my hands and showed her a picture and she told me to get up a look for it. Lucy Nails has recently gotten new management. It's made all the difference! They now accept debit/credit and have expanded their offerings. I got my first gel manicure here and LOVED it! I'm a former nail biter and ANYONE who can make my nails look healthy is CLEARLY a winner. The pedicure was AWESOME. I got the basic spa pedicure (no spa organics) and it STILL came with a hot towel treatment and a really nice scrub. No chips for the life of the pedicure. Eyebrows have been hit or miss...each time I've been, there has been a different brow tech. Still much better than many other places I've tried. They honor appointments! Lucy Nails is usually my last resort when I'm wanting to get my nails done. There is always a long wait for whatever service I need because there are not enough employees to actually fill up even half of the nail and pedicure stations. The actual services preformed are average; nothing special that makes them worth going to over another salon. They are very persistent about their upsales to the point that it becomes aggravating, and if you do say no to whatever they're trying to talk you into they will have a significant attitude change and be rude and start gossiping in a different language.
