I love coming to vogue for my nails! Every time I’ve come I leave happy and can’t stop looking at my nails when I walk out the door! Kevin has done my nails before I love them everytime! But, Danny did them this last time and the shape and color came out perfect exactly like the pic I showed him! Another perk is Mike at the front desk he is great very friendly, he was very helpful. Booked an appointment for 3 mani/pedis for the same day. The staff was friendly but had to wait about 30-45 after scheduled appointment to be seen. One top of that, depending on the person that provides the service were all different. Some put the salt in the water and actually scrubbed your feet to remove dead skin/calluses (which is suppose to be part of the service) and others didn’t. Mind you at the end of the service when it was time to lay, all of them cost exactly the ...same so my question is why wasn’t the service the same?? Disappointed. I also didn’t like the technician used a drillbit on my natural nail instead of use the buffer pad when I wasn’t getting fake nails and all I asked for was just a normal gel manicure because my natural nails are already long. Also their price board states the prices for the different manicure and pedicure combos however if you decide to switch it up a little and or remove something from the combo instead of an upcharge, they price everything ala chart which I think is ridiculous. Love Van at Vogue Nails!! My daughter and I both go to Van and she does amazing work. My daughter gets a gel mani and loves her arm and hand massage. I would never go to this place nor send someone to it. I purchased a groupon for myself and my mother for my wedding. We booked our appointments online and then received an email the day before my wedding/day of appointment saying our appointments were canceled. I attempted to use the groupon again to get my nails done for my honeymoon. The morning of the appointment on the way there, I experienced car trouble. I called the location, informed I was running behind, and asked if it was still okay to come as I was driving from fort worth. I informed I would be about an hour late from my original appointment. Informed yes, I drove 45 minutes to the shop. I got there filled out their card, picked my color, and was told I couldn't be seen due to being very late. The person doing my nails wasn't even there, she was running behind, and had someone else on the way. I was asked to come back, however, I was leaving for my honeymoon and wouldn't be able to. Pissed off, I left with intentions to never return. I planned to trade in my groupon for something else. However, I could not trade in my groupon because the degenerate that checked me in cashed out my groupon. It stated I had received service from them prior to them refusing to service me. I called the company telephone number and someone answered who wasn't even located at the shop. She informed that she was the manager and would handle it upon arrival. I never heard back from her or anyone at the location. Thank God groupon cares about their customers because they allowed me to get my money back. On Wednesday I went there to get my nails done I did a coffin shape and paid $10 less then where are usually go which is to OMG nails. First time reviewer (of anything ever): So I purchased an online Groupon that was a smoking deal for a Dip Powder NexGen Manicure and Regular Pedicure. I scheduled online but somehow my appointment didn't go through. But that was okay because my friend wanted to come with me so I decided to call to book for two instead. I called over the weekend and no one returned my voicemail. So I called back two days later (today) and a female answered the phone but was loudly talking at someone on the other end for about 5 seconds before she said "Hello." It wasn't the warmest introduction but I shrugged it off. I proceeded to ask about appointments for later this week and mentioned the Groupon purchase and she abruptly responded "All Groupon purchases must schedule appointments online." I thought that was an interesting policy, but hey, policy is policy! So when I mentioned that I had tried to book online but it didn't work and that there were no longer vacancies on the day at which I was looking, she took a long pause and said "I don't know what to tell you." That answer was a shocker. I asked "Well do you have any openings this Friday?" Her response, "I wouldn't know how to answer that." And then she was silent. I was silent, waiting for her to be friendly or helpful in any way and just nothing. So I said "Well, okay. I guess bye then?" And she hung up. I've genuinely never had a business be so cavalier in their customer service. Also, I thought the idea of "business" is to attract it, not repel it? Needless to say, but important to include, I contacted Groupon directly and got a refund. I would rather pay full price elsewhere than be subjected to a few hours of that situation in person. Yikes. Other reviewers seem so happy with their experience, so I'm still surprised over the scheduling situation and phone call. But I can't give my business to someone who doesn't want it! Horrible...I'm handicap and my legs are red and scared. He did my toes only. Didn't scrub my feet, or touch my legs, no oil, or lotion on my feet..I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. He handed me my ticket and left...So I paid my bill and tipped the young man that helped me by getting my walker. Bought a Groupon for this place. Tried to go with my friend but they could never make two appointment around the same time. I went alone and was told that I can come back to try the dip nails when my friend went. I bought the Groupon and then they wouldn't honor it. Had to pay in addition to Groupon. I got dip nails Saturday. Monday Thumb nail completely came off. Today, Tuesday middle nail come off. They break off whole so it's not from me or ware and tare. I think because it's too think and not sealed to nail. Then! They charged me twice for the service on Saturday. On Saturday my friend went as well and got gel nails and pedi. This nail bar is literally one of the best places I have ever gotten my nails done at. I am hard to please when it comes to my nails because many times little things can bother me once being painted. I have nothing but complete joy over my mani and pedi. I actually left the shop happy and wanting to come back. Alayna SLAYS nails and makes it look effortless. I read the reviews on here before I went, I can't for the life of me see how this place received anything under 4 stars. The staff was extremely friendly, especially for my first pedicure. Shanda was my tech and she made me feel very comfortable. It was a very vibrant environment.... they seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. Had gel nails done there yesterday. Really anticipated a hand massage but she only rubbed my arms and banged on them to where it was a little uncomfortable. I told her when I sat down my hands were extremely dry. I guess she didn't hear or understand. She was more engaged with the other manicurest who sat next to her, they talked non-stop. I love this place! Greeted by name every time I walk in; escorted to the station. I schedule with Helen because she's awesome!! I'm sensitive to products - can't use Bon Aid and never had a lift (I use liquid gel with gel polish. Also I am very...wimpy. Lol! She's very gentle - I have no tolerance if the tech hurts me!! While I wouldn't say she's excellent at artwork, she's very open to looking at pictures I bring and trying to match it. She's alot better at art than she thinks!
