Horrible experience! The first time ever going and definitely the last. I got a manicure and went home and realized my nails all turned black! I have been here twice in the last two years so when I saw there was new management I had to stop by!The nail salon was busy! I totally forgot it was spring break. Anna was courteous in letting me make an appointment. She gave me some snacks and drink while I waited. So sweet of her! I loved that she took her time doing my nails. I love getting SNS (dipping powder color). It lasts long and it's over my real nails. She did an amazing job on my nails. Be sure to get a reward card. You receive 10% off your fifth visit. Score! Absolutely love this place! I highly recommend it. I took my 4 yr old with me today and he wasn’t letting me sit and get my nails done. Well the owner there was so sweet and just kept taking care of him! I just wanted to walk out lol I was so embarrassed. Well after all she did what I needed to get done and made me feel so relaxed! They have done an excellent job every time and are always very friendly to everyone. When we were there today, Anna and her husband walked in and they both stopped to say hi to each customer. I also saw them at HEB on Sunday and they said hi to me there. Prices are great too and the...y have a reward stamp card, they also had February coupons I was able to hand out to friends. My daughter feels very special when she gets asked if she would like a drink and a snack. She gets in a massaging chair and she just has this little blush to her cheeks and sweet smile. I found my new nail salon! The service is unmatched. My only complaint is my technician who gave me my pedicure used one of the nail pick tools to scratch the outside of her nose. Everything else was clean, and the paint job was great. I hope they will be more careful about tool hygiene. I love the color selection and how accommodating they are. Read Less

I've had my nails done in several cities/states over the years. This location is my favorite by far! Sammi did an excellent job on my brows (they're naturally shaped like rainbows and she achieved giving me any arch, which, is tough for anyone). Anna is the sweetest lady ever, I'm always happy after my manis and pedis and go home feeling fabulous. My first time here was today and I was blown away by the service.  This place is busy and it's obvious why. Some of perks that stand out among the rest: Long and relaxing massages, heat pads for the shoulders, impeccable attention to detail (at one point 3 techs were cleaning up my toes and ensuring the lines were perfect), free water, snacks (Gardettos, Sun Chips, Rice Krispies, etc.) They also offered tea, hot cocoa, and margaritas! Met the owners as well and they were so sweet and accommodating, always checking in and asking how I'm liking the service. Will be back, definitely. I left feeling really well taken care of and pampered. It's very clean although ambiance is lacking a bit. I care more about service than atmosphere so it does not bother me.  I hope they keep the consistency and momentum going, because this really set the standards high for me. Highly recommend. I've been getting my nails done for over 10 years and I've seen my fair share of salons so I know: when you've found a good one, you stay put. Well, I had found a good one when I lived in Austin but a move up north had me searching for a new salon to call home. And I was happy with the replacement location. However, on a whim, I decided to try Solar Nails based upon a recommendation from my boyfriend (yes, boyfriend. Long story.) So I book my appointment and made my way over.From the get-go I was impressed. Nice, clean, cozy; service by staff was super sweet and friendly. Drinks, snacks, water, coffee, tea. Wow! Moving on... I made my way to the seats for a gel French mani and regular French pedi. O.M.G. the attention to detail! I was so impressed by the care and work that went into cleaning, buffing, softening, more cleaning, polishing, more softening, snipping, making sure everything was just right. Now I like my nails SUPER short and I always get chided for cutting my nails so short but the ladies here (Kim and Sammi) weren't afraid to go short for me. And they applied the French polish thick on my hands just how I liked. I can't express how impressed I was by the service and I was more than happy with the results. So here we are over a month later and my nails still look great! The only reason I came back was because they were long and I desperately needed a trim. (I like when my finger pads touch the keyboard and anything longer than that is too long for me.)I had to take a pic of my nails before they got refreshed. Now, they're not perfect but ladies- this is OVER A MONTH old! A month of working at the office, of cooking meals at home, of doing laundry and dishes, of cleaning house, of working out at the gym (I'm talking barbells and bench presses). And they haven't peeled, no major cracks. Maybe a baby chip on a finger or two but they still look great, even with new growth at the bottom.I could be selfish and keep this gem of a secret to myself but everyone deserves to have fabulous nails and if you want some of that, this is the place to go! After going to four or five nail salons after my original nail lady moved to California after 10 years of service my daughter,  my daughter-in-law and I decided to have a girls day out and try this salon as the reviews under the new ownership were great. I was not disappointed!!!! They did a really good job! Honestly the cheapest and BEST place I've gone to. The inside is really pretty and everyone is so nice and welcoming. I paid $30 and tipped him $5. The basic price is $25 but if you want them really long it's $30. I would pay $45 not including a tip at my old place. Def love this place more!!! Read Less

Walked in at 6:30, they took me for fills. Ended up having 6 nails replaced. Was a bit rough removing the acrylic, but it ended well. Very satisfied with Danny. He has a great personality.
