Loved this place! Nice clean and friendly atmosphere! When in for the brow tinting and Chastity worked a miracle! First off I don't have much of a browser due to medical issues the my arches are completely different! Baby when I tell you she worked miracles she worked it. I now have an arch and eyebrows! I love it when my time is my time. I booked an appointment online with Tiffany -she cam highly recommended by a friend. The place is easy enough to find since it's located right off of the highway. Parking looked tight but I was able to find a place without an issue. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment and was greeted by some of the ladies up front. After a few minutes Tiffany came out to greet me and said she would be with me shortly. After another few short minutes I was taken back to wash my hair. I usually have two pet peeves when going to a stylist:one is not having my time be my time -this wasn't an issue, and the second was not explaining what your putting in my hair which Tiffany did. Chasity made my dreams come to reality with shaping and tinting my brows, it's truly a nice alternative to microblading. Went in as a walk in wanting a wash and cut and I was able to be seen within 10-15 mins. The owner Tiffany was very nice and reassured me that the short cut I wanted would look nice and even altered it slightly from the picture to fit my face. The only complaint I have is I waited in the wash station for about 10 minutes as I watched probably 2 or 3 people get washed and moved to the chairs before someone helped me. Then the Lady I was supposed to see never said a word to me and the owner and their assistant ended up doing my hair. All that aside the place is nice and clean and they do all hair types.Read Less

If not, I recommend going and paying a premium dry cut price of 50 plus tip at a true professional place that will listen to you and take more than 10 minutes to cut your hair. Severely disappointed. Every morning, as I do my hair for work, I am reminded about the wonderful haircut I received at the Beauty Bar Houston. I am new to the area and needed a haircut but was terrified of finding a new stylist. Finding a new stylist usually requires several attempts and several not so good haircuts. My problem is, as I have gotten older, my hair grows extremely slow. A bad haircut cut can be devastating for a long period of time for me. I decided to purchase a Groupon, I figured I might as well save money if I am going to have to deal with a not so good cut. The Beauty Bar far exceeded my expectations; I won't lie, I was nervous but my stylist did an amazing job on my baby fine bob. There was no, growing in period of awkwardness, it was perfect from the start. Again, every morning I am reminded how lucky I was to find this salon on my first try. I apologize sincerely to my wonderful stylist because I cannot remember her name; I think her name was either Latoya or Tanya. Extremely rude people, horrible service, DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!My history... bought a Keratin treatment through Amazon Locals, followed the instructions, called ahead, advised of longer hair and was told was going to be an additional 40 bucks. Ok, went there ready, cash in hand (plus tip money). Hair stylist decided to charge me extra 60 instead, I complained, someone else came to try to explain it started at 40... on the phone totally different story... ended up charging 50...3 day treatment, followed the instructions very carefully, washed my hair with specific product, blow dried, to get my hair WORSE than original waves and frizz. I always see Misha for my hair and Diamond for my nails and often at the same visit. Firstly, I like to agree with Pappter14 on the staff's friendliness while maintaining professionalism. They are all easy to talk to and very accommodating. My top reasons for returning to The Beauty Bar are: 1- They are very time efficient and never overbooked. I am always seen on time and am never there for more time than what is needed for my services. 2-Misha and Diamond are simply great at what they do! When I first started going to Tiffany my hair was badly damaged and she worked with my hair on every visit until she got it back healthy and strong. She is the best!
