I got my nails done here because one of my girlfriend's suggested it. It has this wonderful way of wrapping you in once you walk inside. The place is beautiful and super clean! They ladies worked patiently with me while I decided on color. The technicians took their time and did not rush. While I can't remember who worked on my feet, Nancy did my nails. They offered me wine while I was being serviced. I got the dip color on my nails and the matching color on my feet. I was not pleased with the matching. The colors were completely different. I really like having a same color on my nails and feet or at least very close. They are a little on the pricey side, but I was able to use a 10% off coupon from YELP since it was my first time. They even aloud me to finish up the chapter in my book while my feet dried. Aside from that I loved my nails ( dipping can sometimes feel and look bulky this one was not) and the overall quality of service. The only thing missing to make it a 5 start was better quality matching and possibly encouraging people to speak quietly while on the phone. Towards the end of my time there the lady sitting next to me was having pretty heated conversation and it took away from the peaceful atmosphere. I will try this place again. Read Less

I am super picky when it comes to choosing a nail place. I don't want to spend too much but I am willing to splurge once in a while. Also sanitation is key!! The prices here are not too bad. I paid $35 for a pedicure and $35 for a shellac manicure. I've paid more at other places but this place is not only cheaper but sooo much better. This place is so beautiful on the inside for a nail place! I fell in love with it instantly. Upon arriving I had a minor 5 min wait and was sent to my pedicure station. The lady who worked on my feet was Amy and she did a great foot massage and cleaning my feet. Next was the shellac manicure and it was great as well! Lilly was super talkative and we spoke about our love for animal crossing haha. She was great talking to. Overall my experience was amazing and I am so glad I drove the extra mile to get here. I used to go to pinks nails (over 200+ reviews) however, ever since they switched owners, it isn't the same. Overall environment was clean and very organized. The customer service was great! My friend and I came in around 12 on a monday and it was busy. We asked the lady if we could make a guaranteed apt and come back and she said yes. When we came back we were seated immediately, and were well taken care of. The nail techs use sterile tools, and the chair's tubs are covered in a plastic. This def gave me peace of mind as some nail salons are not so clean. Horrible people! I was being talked about between the two technicians. When I spoke to the manager about it she said I probably misunderstood. No clearly I didn't. You KNOW when people are talking about you and looking at you even if you don't know their native tongue. What a fantastic first experience!  The from desk check in experience is very inviting and very different than a traditional nail salon where you're randomly treated by anyone that looks up!  They have a dedicated person for check in. You sign the guest book, look at the menu and select your services. Upon sitting I was offered a beverage and a hot neck wrap which I really loved more than I expected!I love that there are no televisions!  It's truly one of the only nail salons I would say is close to a spa!  Keep up the good work! This is my first time here and it was amazing. I was very impressed with the ambience and the free refreshments offered, including soda, hot chocolate, wine, or water. Ann gave me the classic pedicure with hot rocks and a 10 minute massage and it was amazing. I had a lot of dead skin on 1 foot due to it being bandaged for four weeks, and she worked really hard to get all of it off and was very careful and kept checking to make sure I was not in any pain. Obviously very clean and professional. Which is very important.Completely worth the $35 and I was very impressed with how well she did and what was included in that base service.  I had my nails buffed instead of polished, but they look great. I haven’t been to get my nails done in years- but my wedding is on Friday night and i work a lot so I had to go this morning before work. I got dip color nails. I had Amy, I think. She’s the spa coordinator but I forget to check their names, oops. She kept making sure I was happy with the shape and talked to me the entire time. The guy that works at the desk came over and gave me hot tea and a hot neck pillow that smelled really nice. He also made very nice conversation, we talked about gaming and he likes that my wedding is medieval themed! They talked to each other a bit but then talked to me a LOT and they told me what they were saying in their language. But even their tone in their language was friendly and not a fake friendly. The pedicure was given to me at the same time by a very sweet woman, she was very nice and conversational as well. She was so attentive and without it taking forever (which will hurt my hip to sit for too long) and without it costing a ton of money. I felt fantastic after and they were very chatty about the wedding, I didn’t even have time to get bored and be on my phone! That was so nice. I have found my neighborhood nail salon! Agree with other reviews, just move in. Great pedicure by Amy and great shellac mani by Ann. Ann also did an amazing job on just "cleaning up" my eyebrows. Other places have pretty much raped my face and took so much of my eyebrows off. Not here. The salon is clean & gorgeous, the music is relaxing and so are the drinks! I typically go to the same place for my manicure and pedicure but was in the area and in need so I stopped in at Soho. So prior to stopping in, I called to make sure they did dip nails and the price and was told $40 for clear and $45 for color. OK, it's more than I want to pay but not too ridiculous. We get to soho, I get a pedi and a dip powder manicure and my spouse gets a manicure. We both are taken to the back and seated in a pedicure chair, ummmmm ok. Well needless to say my spouses manicure is done in a pedicure chair although no pedi was involved and on top of that we're not offered a drink although everyone around us is - my response, excuse me do you offer drinks, yes we have blah blah blah - ok cool but I shouldn't need to ask you. The place is extremely cute on the inside but be warned there's no nail polish station - all polish is chosen on the nail wheel. I want to say that I was overall pleased with my pedicure and nails. What I wasn't pleased with was having to change my polish color because your nail mannequin color is incorrect and more than anything going to pay to then find out you charged me to take off my original polish wth....why is this not in your price menu and why are you charging for this when I'm having the same service done- SOHO GET YOUR LIFE, I won't personally be a repeat customer because I don't do surprises Read Less

I didn't have so much time to drive over to my usual place so I decided to pick this one that's near my house & thank lord baby Jesus I did. It is such a beautiful place and I felt so welcomed there. I got there on such a good time, I was taken care of right away. I got a full set with the dipping powder and a classic pedicure which are both basic starting points. The prices weren't over the top, the pedicure was by Mia and it was bombb!!  as well as my nails. I told Jenny what I wanted and she did it all. & the variety of colors was nice. I begin to have a great experience till my tech didn't know how to shape my nails correctly. I asked for the coffin shape and she definitely didn't know how to do it.. my nails were crooked and leaning to the side. She repeatedly tried to fix it but couldn't so I just said let's do a square round shape instead and it still didn't look right. That's when she had another tech Cris come and fix them for me. I've been getting my nails done for over 12 years, also grew up around this industry and never have I seen such highly priced service for something that could be found around town for lesser price. I was in the neighborhood so I thought I'd try it. I do however like the natural shape one stylist did on my full set acrylic nails. My heart is broken because I read the great reviews of this place but I don't have a good one.I want to start of by saying the staff was very nice, polite and friendly. My many and pedi however were bad. I went there with a friend that I had not seen for a while. So I did not pay much attention to the mani but when it was done I noticed the lady had used the wrong color! Her painting of the nail was also super lousy. I got the many on a Friday and 24 hours later most nails have already been chipped. Even though the staff was awesome I unfortunately won't be going back to that place. I came here for a quick polish change which is $10 - a bit steep.  Service is great, I was helped very quickly despite walking in without an appointment.  The place is clean and shiny, which is always great to see in a salon.My only beef is that my nails chipped very quickly but I definitely didn't help that situation at all - my nails were super short so they weren't able to cap the ends well and I am constantly doing "bad" things that make my nails chip that much faster.I'll come back for color changes for sure and keep trying this place out! Today was my second time coming here and because I'd had such a good experience the last time I decided to trust them with my eyebrows that badly needed some cleaning up. Brenda did my pedicure and my eyebrows and she was amazing, so nice, and professional. All I told her was not to thin and my eyebrows came out perfectly. My boyfriend and I set out to find a place for us to get pedicures by our hotel in Memorial City. I went straight to Yelp and it did not disappoint. As soon as we stepped foot into Soho Nail Lounge, it was AMAZING. The decor is beautiful and opulent. There's a services menu. My boyfriend got the Classic pedi and I got the Deluxe. I've lived all over the country from LA to NY, and I'm going to go ahead and say that THIS was the best pedicure experience of my life. Here's why: -After we selected what we wanted, we were seated right away. No wait. -The chairs were amazing, with the massage remote built in. Not that remote on a string. -We were offered wine and refills. -The nail techs (I forgot to ask their names! Argh!) were super nice and THOROUGH! Never felt rushed.  -A hot stone massage even came with the Classic pedi. -They gave my boyfriend a buff shine. Perfect for men (instead of clear polish). -Music was Christmas pop. Which was awesome. I remember hearing Destiny's Child and Mariah Carey specifically. (I went on Dec. 5th)I told the techs that I will save my pedicures for them and I'll definitely be back when I'm in Houston again. I enjoyed my first visit to soho nail lounge. Everything went by super easy here and my nails came out looking on fleek. Initially I just wanted to get a classic manicure with shellac polish but after their complimentary wine(s) my best friend and I added on a pedicure. It took about an hour and a half. Julie did my nails and Vicky my feet. I can't speak on the acrylic work or if they can do complicated designs (I want to say that there might be one or two people who can do intricate design) but for the most part, I'd keep things fAirly basic for the manicurist and pedicurist. Wandered into Dee Image yesterday while having time to kill waiting to see Carousel at the Avon Theatre, was expecting The Christmas Shop that used to be there. Ended up getting a wonderful pedicure from Yoko! It was so relaxing, and included a cappucino and a warm pad on my neck and shoulders. Most pleasant place I've ever had a pedicure.
