I had my eyebrows microbladed by Kate (final session) two weeks ago and it was fantastic! Ive always wanted thicker, fuller brows with a more curved shape an as i go here for all my other beauty treatments so i thought I'd treat myself. Unfortunately mine was a bad experience ; paid £99 via Groupon for microblading and a further £75 for a top up which was asked for prior to having the procedure. The result was not up to standard as pointed out by friends one eyebrow was thicker than the other and both eyebrows were almost as thin as they were prior to the procedure 1 week later after they healed you could not even tell that they had been done and certainly not like what my friend's who had this done elsewhe...re also was advised by another salon that the work was substandard and certainly did not look like they had been done by a professional. Kate agreed after seeing the photos I sent her of my eyebrows 1 week after they were done that they were not good. These days, I'm all about my natural nails which is clearly not a specialty here. The place is clean, the ladies are nice, but I came in midday and had to wait 20 minutes for a nail technician (although they said it would take 5-10). After she finally showed up, she switches me out to cater to someone who came in after me, then after another 20 minutes, gets another technician to complete her work. This substitute technician BUTCHERED my natural nails by clipping them as if they were faux tips. She then tried to file them down AFTER the overlay after I repeatedly asked her to file them evenly before hand.... She squared them out without even asking me my preference of shape was. My Nail Tech of two years disappeared so I had to find someone else. This place was located directly across the street from my old nail salon so I decided to give them a try. Coincidentally I knew Lee (The owner/ manager ) from another nail shop I used to go to back in the day. Besides the fact that she kept bringing up my past from 10 years ago she did a decent job. Mind you I said decent not good. On my second visit I go in and she's being very short and is in a rush. A day later my shellac starts to crack so I make an appointment to go in and have it redone. When I get there I'm greeted by Quincy with a head nod and a what's up? Really?? How professional. To make a long story short I set there for one hour waiting on a polish change while they took walk-ins before me!! Finally I had to bring it to their attention how long I had been there, other people even notice how they totally disregarded me. After 1 hour Thu finally starts on my nails smdh. I will never come here again!!! Never again!! Listen, I am so picky about nail salons and it's taken me several months to find a great one. LaBelle Nail Bar is it! They are professional, clean, friendly, and courteous. They offer you a beverage of your choice when you come in. My first time there, they were SUPER busy wich is understandable since it was Easter weekend. But it was well worth the wait. My nails look amazing and I can't wait to get them done again. Sarah did my pedi and Lee did my mani. I'm sticking with them for the long haul! I was able to check out the new place Labella nails. I was super happy with my full set of nails. Lee is the person that takes care of me. I tried a new lady for a pedicure Hahan which she took her time to do a perfect job on my feet. I will most definitely continue to give them my business.
