I called at 9:07am to make an appointment at 10:00am. They said that was fine and I got ready. I chose this place because it was nearby and I really really needed my old gel off my nails. I show up at 9:50am and I immediately see a little boy watching SpongeBob. Not really what I'd like to see, but the place was clean and looked nice. The walls weren't bare and they had nice artwork. A woman comes out from a back area and let's me know where to choose my pedicure polishes and the gel polish for my manicure. I tak my time, trying to match to a photo of a style I liked on pinterest. While I was choosing, a woman who was obviously a frequent flier but didn't have an appointment, came in, chose her polish quickly and sat down in the last open chair in the room. I was peeved, I made an appointment. I showed up early. I was ready to sit at 10.I was asked to wait a few minutes and sat down at the front with all my polishes and the little boy watching SpongeBob. 5 minutes later, they tell me that they're ready and a chair in a separate room that only has two seats appears! Sweet, privacy and quiet. This is turning out in my favor! I get comfortable and a man fills up my tub for the feet. There's a plastic liner, which is weird to me but not a big deal. He's not chatty, but still polite. I relax and he gets to the scrubbing. After a few minutes, he gets up to turn on the TV. I requested it off and he obliged. Now... From previous experience, pedicures done by males are normally short and lacking. I get disappointed because the massage is short and doesn't really feel good and the polish isn't neat. None of that was the case this time. The foot massage was amazing. I wish I could have just done that part. I would've been happy. Anyway, massage over, polish on and I'm wisked away to the manicure area. I sit there with my fingers in foils for quite a while before a different male sits before me and starts scraping off the old polish. I had that stuff on for nearly a month. It was no coming off easily. He gets it off, clips my nails, files, rubs my hands and arms, and I wash my hands. No soap. Yet another person switch when I get the owner in front of me. She talks to me, asking a few casual questions. We chat and she starts cleaning up the previous guys cuts. My nails are more square than I prefer but I chose not to say anything. I'm sure, if I had, they would have fixed it. Gel polish applied and I paid. A regular, basic pedicure with no gel polish was $25 and a gel manicure was $35. $60 total. I tipped $15.This place was nice. I love my nails. The owner was nice and helped me pick polishes that matched better than what I chose. The massage was amazing. Would absolutely return. 4 stars because I would have preferred more communication when I was waiting for the people to switch. I would have also liked to not have to watch SpongeBob at all. Read Less
