I have been going to Happy Nails with my granddaughters for years. We have manicures, pedicures, and nails. The last time we went will be the last! Two of us wanted manicures and pedicures and one wanted nails. Anna was the only one there who could do nails and she finished her customer and left and never came back. This was my first time getting acrylic nails done and the lady that helped me was very kind and gentle with me. I went with my sister and a couple of my cousins, and were greeted right away. We were told the wait was about 30 minutes, however one of us was helped right away and the other two of us were helped about 20-30 minutes afterward. All the employees were nice to our entire party and made us feel welcomed. They seemed to be short on staff but ran efficiently. I swore I would never try acrylic nails but they made me want to try the experience again. Thank you sweet ladies for a great time with my sister and cousins and I hope to visit in the future. The manager/owner at this establishment is rude, condescending, disrespectful and impatient with his clients. It was my first time there, and because of the owner's demeanor and lack of respect for his clientele, I will not return. It's a shame because the service I received was actually done well. My nails were crooked... I had to keep telling the person to reshape them. Polish was not painted on all of my nail bed.. had to tell them to repplish.. wish I could've just painted my own. Ails myself.Read Less

So i called to ask the price for pedi and she said $20... so i went because i was low on cash, and the lady finishes and she gives me a total of $36 and my nails are so horrible!!!! This place is a rip off. Never again will i ever come back. This doesn't even deserve a star. Read Less

If you want to go to a Mexican marketplace this is the place to go no one is in charge and the prices vary depending on who does your service there is no accountability for any complaits there. This particular place used to have great service when the Asians used to do the service less chit chat note work no bullshit. a tech took two of us at the same time to be greedy and slowed the process down and when I tried to complaint to someone like Carlos as far as I know he is the manager when the owner is not there he ignored the request and kept walking so disrespectful. Although the work was relativity well done(I got shellac manicure/pedicure with a simple design) the experience was very uncomfortable. Both the owner and his wife insisted on talking about politics, while FoxNews played on every TV set in the place. I tried to change the subject but eventually the owner asked me, with disdain"you're not a Hillary supporter are u" I was not there to debate I just wanted my nails done!!! I kept my mouth shut as he went on a rant about how Hillary was a criminal and Trump would make a better president because he says what people are thinking...ugh I just bit my tongue and died a little on the insides. IM Upset that they put someone to learn how to do fills on my nails , the girl obviously did not know what she was doing and had to be coach by another tech as they continue to talk about personal matters ,they never asked me if I wanted anything else done and sometimes the other tech had to finish what the first couldn't do, I'm a nail tech myself and I know that is completely wrong to do at a public salon I like other techs to do my nails but im definitely not going back. It was my very first time EVER getting fake nails. My friend recommended that I go there because a specific nail tech was great. I went in looking for that guy(Noone greeted me),but he already had too many people waiting on him. So I settled for the other guy that was there, in which was a big mistake! I didn't know what to do or how position my hand being it was my first time. The guy just scoffed and kept rolling his eyes because I was a rookie customer! I was in disbelief! He didn't talk much just put on his earphones and blasted his music. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Afterwards he didn't really give me much direction to what to do so I had to literally ask someone else. The tools didn't look sanitary and i didn't think much of it! Recently my other friends tells me she got a fungal infection on her thumb from that same place. Never going back again. I wouldn't recommend this place if it was the last place on earth! Read Less

I was visiting family and needed my nails done. This was close to their house, so I went inside. BIG MISTAKE!! I should have walked away when no one greeted me, but UNFORTUNATELY I didn't.The pregnant lady who did my gel manicure  was obviously put out by the fact that she had to get her ass out of the massage chair and do her job. She then proceeded to yell at her coworkers across the room. They talked about quitting their job, their "fat" coworkers and their boss (who was apparently on vacation). She even stopped for 5 minutes to talk on her cell phone!She insisted on using the grinder drill to remove my previous shellac manicure. I have had numerous shellac manicures in Dallas and knew this was not the correct way to remove the polish--however, for some reason, I let her continue. My nails are now paper thin! I should have left when she began to have someone spoon feed her ice cream; however, I thought I was on a hidden camera show, so I started looking for cameras. While doing my nails, she asked me how much they charged in Dallas for a shellac manicure (I didn't think much into it). I usually go to a decent salon, so I told her $35. When I went to check out she told me it would be $35 for the manicure and $25 for the crappy pedicure. I guess I just wanted to leave, so I paid her the money. I was hoping that the two ladies will buy real pants instead of matching white leggings, so I even left them a 20% tip. Apparently, they completely ripped me off and charged me almost double the normal price.I could go on and on, but I am also filing a complaint with the Department of Licensing and Regulation on the unsanitary practices going on in this salon.
