Tabitha did my hair today. All over highlights and bangs that I have been wanting for years. Everytime I would go in anywhere and request it the sylist would say that I would not be able to pull off blunt bangs and talk me into something else. Not Tabitha she did exactly as I requested and took her time to make sure I knew exactly what was happening to my hair. Made a trip to get a hair cut. I had a a picture with an idea in mind. I walked in going off of the ratings they had since my stylist is now in Georgetown. What a mistake! I knew as soon as I sat down for the shampoo it was going to be a bad cut but gave her the benefit of the doubt because she was nice. As soon as she finished the wash she semi dried my hair and as I got up and tilted my head forward I literally had water splash out of my ears onto the floor. So without a towel to clean up the water dripping from my head I walked to the chair and sat down. She started brushing my hair out very aggressively. She did not have a delicate touch at all. If I had any dead skin cells on the back of my neck, they're gone with the way she exfoliated it with that comb. I literally felt like I got beat up. At one point in the hair cut she looked at it with that shrug of "eh it looks ok." She then blow dried it with an outward flip so I could see the "layers". I just ended up looking like an 8 year old girl. I still left her a tip when I shouldn't have and she stared as I wrote it down without any privacy. Either way about it I should've left with an A line bob with layers and bangs. I left with a regular butchered bob and face framing that was uneven and chunky because I wasn't going to let her ruin my bangs. The environment wasn't very professional nor did it have a down home feel either. The stylists were doing each other's hair when I walked in and talking either about a customer or another employee. Don’t waste your money. Can’t remember the name of the gal who fixed my hair up but she was great. Loved what she did with my hair she definitely rescued me from my mom hair I will be back!!... Ok changed my mind, Sadie was great however my hair color wasn’t processed properly and she covered with toner and now I have orange hair 2 weeks later that I have to pay to have fixed at another salon because this salon elements will only offer toner at cost! These reviews are old. There's no nails done and the girls claim to do Balayage and charge $250 ^^ and do nothing but damage your hair in foils and give you highlights instead that look terrible!! I will never go back to this place and they should not claim Balayage if they don't know how to do it! I could have had partial highlights done for $35 rather than this mess I have now! I had such a great experience. My stylist was Tabitha and she was awesome! My hair is normally dry and, is naturally a dark brown. Tabitha wanted to try a blush blonde baylage since she was wanting to try out the color. I loved the end result! Tabitha and the staff at salon elements were so nice and I will definitely be going back. Also their waxing is so much better then the other places in this area. They do not use the warm melted wax and the wax they use is great for sensitive skin. Normally after a waxing my eyebrows are blood red and have left over residue. When getting them done here I had 0 residue and 0 redness. Yes it’s a little on the pricy side but you definitely get what you pay for and more. Read Less

I came in today for a brow tint and sugaring hair removal (again, eyebrows) and was helped by Sadie. First off, this was possibly the most fun I've ever had just getting my eyebrows done! She was amazing! She listened to everything I had to say, even advised me that the brow tint may not be what I wanted BUT let her know, 'I'll try anything once!', so work your magic - and she did! I had great expectations, but was very disappointed with the management and the customer service. After purchasing some products at the suggestion of a stylist, I quickly learned they were too heavy for my hair. Before purchasing the products I had asked about returning them should they not work for my hair and was told I would be able to return them or receive store credit if the products did not work out; there was no time limit. I returned to the salon to return the items and they took 15 minutes to fiddle in their computer system, answer other phone calls, schedule other appointments and finally told me I could not return it because they had a one week return policy. The woman at the desk said she had not been there when I asked about the return policy or she would have notified me of the one week policy. I pointed out that she was there and then she pointed to a small sign that she says was always sitting on their counter, stating their return policy. I saw no sign when I purchased the products, that is why I asked about the return policy. The return policy was not printed on their receipts either. Despite having asked specifically about the return policy and the time limit on returns, my return was turned down because I was outside of the one week window -- one day outside of the one week window. I will never go back to this salon and I will be sure to tell all of my friends. $50 down the drain because of their poor policies. I would have liked to get my hair cut there or even exchange the products I'd purchased. It is too bad they have such poor customer service and poor knowledge of their products. Thumbs way down. It was my first time at this salon, and I'm the type of person that likes to seek reviews first to get an idea of the establishment. I've already seen a few positive reviews on Iggi, so I decided to schedule an appointment with him. Upon meeting with Iggi, he is a very warm and friendly person. He listened to what I wanted and offered suggestions. I only requested a haircut and style during my visit, and it was precisely what I wanted. The only negative that I can comment on, is that he is moving overseas permanently sometime during the end of the year, and I just started to like him cutting my hair :( I'm extremely picky with my hair and I can't seem to find any stylists in the area; to put it bluntly, up to my standards.
