Best nail salon and spa I have ever been to!I came here on a Monday afternoon and it was vacant when I came, however there seems to be a rush starting around 2:30. The owners are great! I had a hard time picking a rating because my nails look great. I went to Maui Nails for the first time today to get the dip powder. The process was awful. I asked for my nails to be soaked off and she barely obliged. Then, I told her I wanted my nails cut short, and she said she would do it later. After the dip powder was on, she buffed my nails shorter. By doing that, the was so close to my skin and buffed off my skin on multiple nails leaving them red and raw. If she would've cut them shorter before putting any powder on like I asked, this would've been avoided. It was miserable. She was very short with me the whole time. I will not be going back. I came in for the first time today and absolutely enjoyed my experience. Nancy was so kind and did a fantastic job. I looked all day for a nail salon that I hadn't been to (all the ones by me in NRH were awful) and remembered seeing this one by Tommy Tamales. I'm so glad I came. I've made appointments for the last five times I've visited. Four of the five times, I had to wait for an excess of 20 mins past my appointment time because they were "understaffed". They're all very nice but it's not a place to go if you're expecting your time to be respected. Plus, I've noticed my nails are shaped crooked most of the time and I have to fix it. This nails place do a outstanding work. Out of all the nails place i've been this is one of the best place to be in the southlake/grapevine area. The Owner and the staff are very friendly and yet do quality work. So far i'm happy with there work i cant wait to be back anytime soon :) Read Less

I've been here 4 times because I love Emmi but today will be my last visit. I want to like this salon but the disorganization has made each appointment stressful. If this salon could follow their appointment schedule and not have clients wait over 40 minutes I would be a regular customer. I'll start by saying the owner is super nice and I enjoyed my visit. Now, as for the result... I'm not so thrilled, I went in for the powder mani and eyebrow wax. My bad review is purely for the quality of the nails, it has been less than a week and two of my nails are already ruined. I do my nails regularly and they always last at least two weeks, I was surprised that I paid so much and it was such bad quality. I don't recommend the place for powder nails, but as far as the eyebrow wax, I was pleasantly surprised.I feel like it was way overpriced for the quality. Read Less

I've been going to this salon since I was 13. That's 11 years of my coming back to the same place! I've been to other salons all over the place and there's no place like home!They do an amazing job for a really reasonable price!
