the first time I went the girl Holly was nothing friendly I had the manicure and she made those nails horrible and did not cut the cuticle, on Friday I went to do a refill and Donna who did the refill were in gel and she did them so badly that they fell off. This is my second time coming here and it will be my last. First, if you come here be prepared for them to not have the color you want. I went through three colors and I still didn’t get the color I wanted. I paid $40 for a color I didn’t want. While I was having my nails done I saw a girl pick out a color and the girl doing her nails picked a different color when locating her nail dip container. Second, the nail tech that did my nails wasn’t friendly and didn’t care if I didn’t like my nails. I had to have her fix my nails because she didn’t go back and check. When you walk in this place I feel like the people that work here do not appreciate you coming. I spoke to the guy at the counter and he kept saying “next time” he would take care of me. All 5 employees said no because it was going to “take too long”. She apologized that because they were short staffed and some employees couldn’t stay late they couldn’t get to my nails. As this was happening another lady had just sat in the chair to get her pedicures done and a few minutes later someone starts working on both her hands and feet. Yet they weren’t able to get to me and had the audacity to ask if I could go out of my way again to come back another day. Why should I waste more of my time to accommodate you because you didn’t manage your team properly? As I was checking out she was giving me all kinds of excuses as to why they couldn’t get to me but yet they were able to attend someone else that walked in through the door 30 minutes after me? Not everyone has a bad experience here! I had a really great experience today! I fully thought that since I had never been there, I wouldn't get treated like a regular. You know how it can be sometimes. If they don't know you and you're just a walk in, sometimes they just rush the job. This couldn't have been more opposite of my experience! The color I chose for my gel manicure looked totally different on my nails than on the example. Sarah immediately said we will change it. And they did! They didn't charge me extra either. I thanked them because I truly wasn't really pleased with it, but I didn't want to pay to get the color changed. She said "We want you to come back. We will make it right." I had a great pedicure also! Sarah did my pedicure and Nina did my manicure. They both were very meticulous and took their time shaping and taking care not to cut my cuticles back too far or anything. They both asked as they went if I was pleased with their work. If you've never been here, don't take other peoples reviews as true. I walked in with an open mind and a hopeful heart, with a smile on my face. Literally the worst place I've ever gotten my nails done. Firstly, the tools are unsanitary, looks like they've been used on dozens of people with a chance of infection. Secondly, the quality of nail painting is that of a 3 year old . . .so sloppy.  They rush so much, yet the place is empty (for obvious reasons). Maybe it's a cover for some shady business, like how do they even afford to stay open with the services they offer. I am from out-of-town and did not have the chance to go to my regular nail salon since I was running around gathering everything for my trip. I don't know if they lock their nail techs in a space underneath the store or what, because these people have no type of training or experience. I have not gotten my nails done since my nails were DESTROYED and still need time to heal from the TRAUMATIC services received from this salon. I called to complain and the best they could offer me was to transport myself back to this awful place and receive services from some employee who would likely retaliate by "accidentally" chopping off my finger or even worse - removing more of the first layer of nails causing them to break even more - no thank you. I chose the suffering route and told people that a toddler painted my nails at Lakeside Salon. Be aware of the male nail tech. He is the one that did my gel manicure. The entire service was a complete joke I kept laugh-crying internally and looking around for the punk'd cameras. I told him over 20 times to file my nails straight (they were crooked, thin and sad af in the end) and stop asking me to get tips, I probably lost my voice prior to leaving. I give this place a negative 5 star!! They have the worst owner! They make well over $100 per person depending on what they get done. They made a huge mistake with my nieces nails and the owner didn’t even have the balls to confront HER clients concerns!! She is a COWARD!!! I don’t recommend this place at all!! I do love Anna, Kim, Mary, and Holly! Those girls are very hard working and I respect them very much! When it comes to our hard working money we expect a good job to be done especially if we have to see it for the next month! If the owner was less greedy and knew how satisfy the customers who make her 2016-2017Mercedes Benz payment then she may get better reviews. Unfortunately she sucks and I suggest that you look for a better nail salon. These reviews are so important because they are true incidents that occur and the truth on the outcome. This is an assembly line where the manicurists do not care about you. If you don't buy the more expensive service, they just slap on the nail polish and move on. Once I told Mary that all I wanted was the basic pedicure, she hurried my pedicure. When she put on my flip flop and I accidentally moved causing one of my toe nail polish to mar. Well, she did not fix it. I waited for her and she never came back. I looked around and she was already helping another person. WOW! I mean WOW. I will NEVER go to this place. It's the third time I have been at this place and each visit has progressively been worse. The salon I normally go to was closed temporarily for renovations. This place has terrible customer service. When their hours of operation say they close at 7:30pm, it really means they close full service at 6pm. I came just at 7pm and was told that I could not be served because they were "about to close". 2 other ladies behind me experienced the same thing. Bill will ask you question after question and none of which are his business, but he will keep asking until you feel pressured enough to not come back. And the little early 20's asian lady that sometimes 'helps' run the shop when the German owner is not there, is a waste of a managerial assistant. She asked the workers if they WANTED to do my nails... mind you she did not TELL THEM that they had a customer to tend to since their clearly stated hours of operation were still in effect. This is my own fault for going to a nail salon for a haircut, but I'm writing a review to warn men seeking a cheap haircut in the area. I came in and looked around at the establishment and was amazed how big it was inside and how many employees there were. I went up to the front and told them I wanted a haircut. The owner pointed me to the back and said "15 min wait and they'll be ready so have a seat." The environment completely changed. It was so terrible compared to the other side. Two or three nail specialists that also know how to cut hair work are stationed here. Considering that they're nail specialists that "know" how to cut and do nails, they don't want to be cutting hair. There's less money involved with it for them. My haircut was rushed and I did not get the fade that I wanted. My hair was uneven and I was told that that's just how my head/hair is. That it just sticks out like that in the back. Never have I been told that before...and I came home to wash it and styled it to find out it was indeed uneven. Their service is great but they will not give you the attention you want for your hair. HORRIBLE!!! I paid $45 just to get my feet soaked in cold water because the nail technician was so eager to go home. Never come here. The pedicure package I paid for included sugar scrubs and clay mask but I received neither. I USED TO BE a regular customer but I'm NEVER coming here again!! She didn't even apologize when I asked her why she didn't do everything on the pedicure description. And when I went to go pay, because they still charged me, all the other nail technicians gathered around her and told her to just say she forgot. They must do this to everyone!! This is a nice place with nice people, but, the employees speak way too much to each other. I understand that they're not robots & I was fine with them talking for a while but then it just got a little annoying. Them speaking in Vietnamese wasn't the issue, it was just the talking and talking and talking. By the end of the manicure my head hurt so bad & I was just so annoyed. They also didn't offer me anything to drink & my nails didn't last long either.When the woman who was doing my nails massaged my arm with lotion it was relaxing... at first. But she rubbed at my arm for five minutes in the same spot while talking to the employee next to her. She also picked up her phone twice while she was doing my nails. It was a very frustrating visit. I paid a hundred bucks for a new set of eyelash extensions. Nancy did them and while in the process, she kept using a sharp substance and poking my eyes and I felt some irrtation also. After I got home, I kept rubbing my eyes and have found that there was a blob of glue on my lashes. I called to make an appointment to get them fixed and was to meet up with her the following day. The next day, she wasn't there and I was set up with another technicain. Vivain was sweet and took her time to take the glue off but she looked a bit frustrated. Again, I felt some sort of irritation and asked if my lashes can be taken off. I'm guessing your english wasn't fluent, she insisted to add more strips of lashes on. The work was great but as I got home, the irrtation didn't go away. A couple of days later, my false lashes came off. I came in to get them removed and at least get a portion of my money back, the manager said there were no refunds. Vivian took them off for me and I've noticed that the place where Nancy orignally put so much glue on, there was a little to none lashes left. This is horrible. I've gotten a wedding to attend and tried to get pampered but this is ridiculous, I paid a hundred on something that was taken off a couple days later and ruined my eyes and lashes. I had stop going to Lakeside because I moved to another side of town. I was hooked on gel nails and got burned out on them. I had reservations about going to Lakeside especially on a Saturday. The wait was loonnnnnggggg! The manager assigned Sidney to me and she was worth the wait. She gave me almond shape nails and I feel in love. She mixed a gel powder together and cleaned my cuticles. Today I saw a different side of the employees at Lake Ridge Nail and Spa. Although, I will not be returning to this establishment, I could not remain silent about the issues I witnessed on today. Not only will I not be returning to this establishment for services, I will be making sure my family and friends are aware of the concerns I witnessed to ensure that they too will no longer come to this establishment for business. On today, I witness the nail tech Sydney behave extremely rude and violent towards a customer. The customer wanted a full set but needed the old set of nails removed first. I watched the customer who was clearly in pain tell Sydney that she was hurting her, instead of Sydney acknowledging the customer pain and treating the customer with a softer approach; Sydney became rougher and at one point ripped the nail off the customer causing her to bleed. I simply could not believe what I was witnessing. Sydney became irate and yelled at the young lady. The customer stood up clearly in pain and gathered her things to leave. Once the customer left Sydney along with other employees began to speak rudely about her, and at one point called her out her name. Although the customer was no longer inside the employees behavior unacceptable. But things got worse, the young lady who was now outside who appeared calm and respectful was harassed but Nancy another employee. Nancy took her phone and took pictures of the customers license place at one point blocking the customer in to where she could not drive off and also took pictures of the customer face, I could not believe that an employee was behaving so disrespectfully, I was also surprised how calm the customer was through all of this. Once Nancy came back inside and said she took pictures of the girl because the girl took pictures of the storefront (outside of the building). The young lady never came back in the building, she wasn't loud or rude so I was extremely confused as to why her taking a picture of the storefront was a problem. If I were in the young lady position, I too would take a picture of the storefront and retain as much info as I could, the nail tech caused this customer to bleed all because of her being frustrated. I'm floored, I hope the young lady takes whatever legal actions she can, but I can say for sure that I nor my family will be stepping foot back into this establishment again. Read Less

This is probably the best salon I've been too in a while! A previous tech at a different salon that did my nails did a very bad job and Sydney corrected my nails and made them look amazing!! She made me feel at home and knew exactly what I wanted and executed my nails perfectly!! I came back in and requested Sydney again, there was no wait and she immediately remembered who I was and got right to work.. she is super sweet and keeps me engaged in conversation the entire time! I highly recommend Sydney.  She has been doing my nails for over two years, and she does an excellent job every time.  I drive over 30 miles each way to see Sydney because she is that good.  Her work is perfect every time.  I have had pink / white acrylics for over 20 years and Sydney's work is the best I have ever seen; she takes her time (but is still very fast!) and makes sure that I am 100% satisfied.  You won't be disappointed. Tiffany is the best for NexGen dip nails!!! Lien is also really amazing!!!! They're both very gentle and steady handed. I get nervous when people come at me with those drill, I guess it makes me nervous even when someone cut my nails with regular nail clippers. I have used this nail salon for forever, but no more after today. I just received some of the worst customer service ever. I called in about my nails chipping after getting them done recently, the response I got was that it happened too long ago and that maybe if I came in they would see what they could do, then they hung up on me. So I came in, was told the manager wasn't there and they weren't sure when she would get there, then they ignored me. By the time the manager got there she said sorry I was treated that way, but the staff was busy. That should never be an excuse for poor customer service. If you're in a customer service industry, you do whatever needs to happen to make the customer happy. Was excited to get my nails done today before my sons game. When I walked in I was not greeted ( the lady that's normally at the reception desk must have been off). Got there around 9:45 and my lady (LuAnn who's) already had a client and told me it would be 30 min. I decided to go ahead and let Cindy do my set. I showed her a pick of how I wanted my nails shaped. Two out of the 10 mails she glued on were crooked and I politely asked her to reapply those two and she did. She became irritated and started to talk to co-workers in their language. I stopped her and said i just want my naols to be right & i have no problem with tipping bit i juat want my nails right. She continued to shape them according to the pic. She never said that it would be extra. So when I go to pay the ticket stated I got shallac which is $25. I did not and I asked to see their prices. My set should have been $22. SHE decided on her own I'm guessing because I made her fix the 2 nails. By then he had already swipped my card.
