Filed my nails down to nothing. It took me a while to grow them, and now they're short. Filed them to a slant - wasn't straight across. Rude and establishment isn't really that clean rude will curse you out and say racial slurs !!! Because you can't understand them the really old one with make up is really loud and rude and if you notify the owner In a nice way they will make jokes very poor customer service unless you've been going for a while businesses aren't run like they use to be !! Rude and Kim is messy she thought It was so funny that I made her aware that the old nail tech that wears all the make up like Lilly monster was rude to her customers because they wanted to wait for her well instead of kim sympathizing she thought it was funny and instead of me acting a ghetto mess I left and will never go back and mark my words she will see her business start to decline if she doesn't handle problems better and the old lady should eat some of the makeup she wears so the inside can match Read Less

I've never been more pleased with a pedicure. They take their time too. They aren't quick and cut corners to get to the next client. I get regular pedicures every two weeks in the spring and summer and after a couple of visits they remember me and what I like to have done. I feel taken care of. They typically have a full house so mornings are the best time to go. I like to think they are so busy because they do great work. Read Less

I recently began looking for a new nail salon... And I was picky because I've been going to the same nail salon since I moved here. Then... I discovered mimosa nails! Mary was excellent and very sweet! I made an appointment for my lunch break for a full set and eyebrow wax and only had 40 minutes. She did an AMAZING job.. And with time to spare! The eyebrow lady is JUST THE BEST. the prices are low so yes some of the work may not be the best and yes the salon doesn't look all that pretty inside. but I mean the eyebrow lady knows what she's doing I usually get my eyebrows done with her and then when I go to other places I can instantly see a difference. the nails aren't all that great I got my pink and white nails from Kim and she did an amazing job unfortunately she doesn't always have the time do my nails last time I came a young man did my nails and he didn't do as great as Kim's. Seriously? Don't even bother coming here. The manager is very nice, but the manicurists leave little to be desired. The only reason I came here today is because it's very close to my house. Normally, I go to a nail salon in Rowlett. They give you drinks there. I digress.  Granted, Mimosa does good eyebrows, but today was awful. A young man did my manicure today. A dry manicure. No water, no soaking, no nothing. I had to tell him what to do. He filed my nails and trimmed my cuticles without soaking them first. Then, he decided he wanted to put lotion on my dry hands (nail dust and all) not allowing me to wash my hands first or let the lotion or oil to soak through. When I tried to explain to the manicurist and the manager that I wasn't happy, she just directed him to put oil in my cuticles again.  He, then, told me to wash my hands and put the lotion on myself. This was my first time getting my eyebrows waxed and nails done in over 3 years and I have to say it was a wonderful experience! Kim was great and they worked really fast, I had an eyebrow wax and solar nails and I was able to get back to work before lunch was over!
