Use to come here whenever I needed my nails done but not anymore. I asked for ombré nails and the nail tech did a horrible job. If she didn’t know how to do it she could have just said she didn’t know and I would have gladly waited for someone else. Even one of the nail tech asked what she was doing and said ombré and the nail tech just laughed and walked away? If you know they’re not doing it correctly why not step in ?

I use to come here all the time until the staff started being rude, lazy, and started rushing through my nails and pedicure. One nail tech tried to remove my nails by sliding a card between the acrylic and my nail bed, instead of soaking them off, which damaged my nails. John had an issue with me changing my nails days later even though I paid to have my nails redone. He had an attitude with me after that and tried to embarrass me the next time I came to have my nails done, which was a month later. It seems like he had an issue since then. I will not return here and will gladly spend my money elsewhere.
As you can see his response was inappropriate and he failed to address the reason on using inappropriate techniques to remove nails. I called the same day and informed you that I was not satisfied with my nails and due to my work schedule I would not be able to come in until Tuesday to have them fixed. At the time of our phone conversation you said it was fine. However, when I came in it was a different story and you assumed that I lied to you. Instead of calling your customers liers and jumping on the defense you should try to treat your customers with respect and solve the issue at hand.
After going through the reviews I see other people also agree that you and your workers are rude. John you should try treating your customers better if you want to stay in business!

I read good reviews online so I went for the first time for a gel manicure. The staff really is very nice, the place is clean and you can tell that they stay very busy. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they do NOT put a white base coat before applying the polish you want. So if you like getting shimmery colors like me, the color comes out different than the real one (darker and more dull) and I wanted bright colors for spring. When the technician started and put 1 coat on the first nail, I saw that it didn't look the same so I told her that if it wasn't going to come out the same, that I could choose a different color but she told me that after 3 coats it would look the same. When she finished and saw that it wasn't the same she explained that it was because the nails they use are white and mine is pink. Which I understand but I wish that she would have told me that when I first asked her about it so that I could have switched to a solid color. I will be back because they did a good job with everything else and like I said they are very sweet and apologized but it would still have been nice to have gotten what I had asked for. Next time I will get a solid color for sure.

This is the best kept secret in Garland. The staff is unbelievably friendly. Everyone is willing and eager to give you the nail experience you want. Always willing to accommodate, create, and bring your nail treatment to the highest professional level.I have never had such a wonderful experience. Other salons often tell you what they want you to have. That is not the case with Avalon. I was encouraged to select the nails of my dreams, And told they would accommodate me. They did.

The type of service you get when they are in a rush my nails 2 days later look like I need a fill yet again first time attending this nail shop nail tech lady was cordial but the overall experience was a bit irritating we as women go to nail shops to get a peace of mind and pay a pretty penny to get it done right I'm not one who usually does reviews but the experience I has been bothering me since I left the shop. I hope no one else has to feel that way hopefully they get more nail techs so they can take their time on each customer like they take their money .

I came to this place months ago and this was my second time back. I asked for Anna since I read good things about her. And she is AWESOME! She cared and was really attentive to what I like and wanted . And told me "let me know if there anything you don't like about your nails" which I loved . Made me feel very comfortable with her knowing she cared. You don't get a lot of places like that. Totally recommend this place and Anna! Everyone is super friendly

I highly suggest those who haven't done there nails here don't because they do a very bad job. You can go to a better place to get your nails done at the same price or even cheaper. If you look closely you can see how ugly they did my sisters nail

If she didn’t know how to do it she could have just said she didn’t know and I would have gladly waited for someone else. Even one of the nail tech asked what she was doing and said ombré and the nail tech just laughed and walked away? If you know they’re not doing it correctly why not step in ?

I read good reviews online so I went for the first time for a gel manicure. The staff really is very nice, the place is clean and you can tell that they stay very busy. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they do NOT put a white base coat before applying the polish you want.
