My husband and my niece and myself came in to get nails done. Both manicure and pedicure. My niece and my husband were serviced and I sat there the whole time waiting with my feet in the water for over an hour. Another customer came in and got serviced before me. When my husband is we're done they were going to service me about that time I was aggravated for the long wait. After checking out, the owner replied to my husband, "I win some and lose some…" unfortunately for him we will not be back, and I do not personally recommend going here. The environment (talkative and joking around) along with the details they put into nails (shape, quality, painting, not pressuring on up sales, etc) completely makes this place stand out. Jay and Johnny at Happy Nails are truly the best! I have terrible nails and fingers. Dry and cracked all the time. They take great care to make sure I get a great manicure despite my super bleck fingers. The salon is clean and they use sterilized tools. I always get a manicure and colored dipping powder. If you get the dipping powder, make sure they "thin it out" for you! That way your nails will look super natural and not too bulky like gel can get. I really enjoy coming here. My daughter and I just got our nails done here and we loved it. JayZ was great. The last person I used cut me up bad at a different nail place in Addison and he was very soft. I think the price is very good for the area too.  He asked if we were comfortable and if we were happy with the nails. Jay, the owner, and all of his employees provide first-class service. If you have any questions or concerns, their response is immediate and far beyond satisfactory. As for the salon/spa itself, it has a wonderful zen-like atmosphere. The inside of the spa is beautifully decorated with calming colors and very relaxing with the trickling sound of their several water fountains and spa music. There is also a very pleasant scent of incense in the air. He offers not only wine to his clients but also mixed drinks for free. Do not go to this business. They did a horrible nail job I requested a refund I did not want them redone and the girl told me they were fine and I was wrong. Poor business etiquette. Hands down the worst nail salon I've ever visited, and with having my nails done for over 32 years, I have visited more than a few.  When I went in the first time, it was because my regular salon was too busy and I didn't want to wait. I should have waited.  When I walked in, there were 2 people in the salon.  The woman who did my nails kept saying how tired she was.  The job she did on my nails was sloppy.  She left the product so far down in my cuticles that my fingers were swollen and red around the cuticle for several days. I also got a pedicure during this visit and it was okay.I decided I would give it another try, and again when I walked in there was only 1 person in the salon.  The woman who did my nails before was not there and I was relieved.  I told the man that was going to do my nails this time that the last time I was there that she didn't do a very good job on my nails, that she had allowed the product to get down in my cuticles and they were too thick.  He said he understood, but then started making comments about my nails being "too curved" for him to make them less thick.  I told him that I have had my nails done for 32 years and NOBODY has ever said that to me before.  I didn't have much confidence that he knew what he was doing based on this comment alone.  I was right.  He did not know what he was doing.  My fingers are once again swollen around the cuticle and are lumpy, uneven and crooked. I have come to the conclusion that the swelling on my cuticles may be from the product they are using.  It could be discount, or seconds, or something off label.  I don't know.  What I did know is that if you walk into a salon, during hours when salons are typically busy and there is no one there, RUN! There is a reason they are not busy.One side note:  When I asked for a Diet Coke, one of the girls brought me one.  I took a drink and it tasted odd.  I looked at the can and it had snow flakes on it and said "Share a Coke with your Secret Santa".  It is August.  How old do you suppose that Diet Coke was?? I only gave 1 star because I had to. I will never come back here. My toes looked like they were done by a 7 year old and my nails were not done correctly or the way I wanted them. Then they overcharged my card and when I brought it up to them they dismissed it and did not give me my money back. I am very unpleased. Do not go here. Read Less

I love happy nails!  It's been my nail, pedi,wax home for 18 months. I tried a lot of places when I moved to Frisco but they all felt like labor camps. Happy nails is family owned, they care about customer satisfaction and love the regulars. They always have new stuff to try and the pricing is excellent esp for Frisco. Read Less

I cannot recommend this salon for NexGen. My nails were chipped after one day!!  I don't believe they use high quality products as the container did not have NexGen on it. I believe they are using bargain brand powder.  I can't speak to their other services. Read Less

Desperately needing a gel polish change I stopped at the first place I ran across...The salon itself is pretty small, but is inviting.  The décor was clean and not cluttered.  They have maybe 10 pedicure spa chairs or so, maybe 8 manicure stations and a wall of polish options. The gel options were a lot smaller, but it can sometimes be overwhelming to pick one color so I was thankful for the small selection.Jon was my nail tech and he did a great job at removing the existing gel and then giving me a full regular manicure. At other salons, I have had some nail techs take the gel off so rough that my nails are trash, but he took his time and it made the whole experience very relaxing and enjoyable.   The price was great, I received a $5 discount and a frequent customer punch card.  I had a great experience here and will for sure return for another gel manicure.  Plus, I want to try out their pedicure services :) Read Less

I decided to try this nail salon based on a recommendation from my friend. I've been to several nail salons in Frisco but still hadn't found my "go to" place. The location is pretty convenient. The salon is small but cozy. My nail tech was John and he was super accommodating. He made sure the foot spa was the perfect temp, offered me a glass of wine (which was served in an actual wine glass instead of a plastic cup...nice touch), and he even managed to get me the red nail polish that caught my eye but was being used by another customer. In case you're wondering, the color is OPI "You only live twice." It's a very festive red...check out the pic I included.The price was great, especially with the $5 discount on the pedicure. I appreciate the fact that John wasn't in a hurry to get me out of there and did the manicure and pedicure separately. Oh and I thoroughly enjoyed the foot massage from John! I'll definitely be back!
