I've been going to this place for the past year just because it was 2 min from my house.I would not say I was always happy, this place was just OK. After my first visit my gel manicure came off after a week, when usually it stays up to one month. But, anyway I decided to give them another chance.Every visit is important especially when I made a reservation on my BD and person who does manicure didn't show up! So I got my pedy only and also the lady wad so in a rush as other costumers showed up. More over I couldn't enjoy the 20% off because I only did pedy. Like seriously???? Came in and asked if they do eyebrow threading. They said yes. I was told "yes" to threading twice. That's not true. They do waxing. I can't do normal waxing because of skin sensitivity. It was a misunderstanding and I'm fine with that. It was corrected (after she put hot wax on my face) and she recommend I get my eyebrows plucked instead with tweezers. But why should I pay 10 dollars for eye brow plucking? I explained the issue and I don't see how plucking and waxing would be priced the same. Threading anywhere else is 8 dollars or less but I didn't even get that done! I got mine plucked! And there are still small hairs that could have been taken care of by threading. I went here on vacation as I wasn't able to get my nails done before I left home and I was bummed about having to go somewhere new. This place was SO great though. I saw Kathy, and she did such a wonderful job on my nails. I got a no chip manicure and a pedicure with her. The atmosphere was great and relaxing, and Kathy was so helpful and careful... No hand massage for me :( My friend had her nex gen removed by being peeled off, which resulted in her actual nails being peeled and one split down the middle. Rough and painful! We won't be back. Horrible experience, my service was rushed and they spoke amongst themselves the majority of the time.  My manicure was completed by the woman at the front desk and she rushed to finish so that she could assist other costumers.  Although a few other technicians where pleasant the two that performed my service where not and customer service is key.  Please choose another place that will make you a priority and enhance your day!! I came in for NexGen, which I received, along with an unpleasant and inattentive Nailist. She was rushing through my service and did not take the time to trim my nails or even ask if I would like it. She was brutal with the tools on my cuticles. She needed to file the ends of the nails after dipping, but did not. When she finished, she just got up and left, didn't say a word. I didn't think she was finished because there was more she should have done, but she never came back. Eventually I was encouraged to the cashier and sent on my way. When i went there they told me i would have to finish getting my pedicure before they could do my manicure. I was okay with that but once i had finished my pedicure I sat in the chair for nearly an hour before they even called me over to do my manicure. I was furious, and I needed to be somewhere within the next 15 minutes so I had no time to get my fingers done. One time I had dropped my 15 year old daughter off to get her fingers done and the guy doing her nails had showed her inappropriate videos on instagram, and was flirting with her a lot. I recently moved to the area from San Francisco and came to Frisco Nails & Spa for a full set and pedicure after reading all of the positive reviews here. I was promptly greeted and did not have to wait at all. I was then given the mani/pedi menu... what a selection!! California definitely needs to step up their nail game because this place has it locked down. I went with the strawberry pedicure which was phenomenal and then a pink and white ombre nexgen full set. Since my first visit when I wrote my review within a few weeks my nails started chipping my toes polish was all lumpy and gunny due to too many coats I called about a week later due to my work travel schedule. I spoke to Eric and he said he didn't want to loose a customer to come in and they will do what they can, I made an appointment, I arrive and had to wait 40 minutes, over 2 hours later and I am finally on my way. After they fixed everything that all changed they charged me to fix their mistakes I didn't say a word paid and left. again within a few days same thing I return after calling and telling Eric i will not pay. Another 2 hour visit since I had to wait 30 minutes with an appointment....I wasn't the only one my tech had another appointment made at the same time. That customer was not happy and expressed her opinion the response was we got busy but the customer had a valid point as to why didn't they call her to let her know...they appeased her with a glass of wine. I couldn't wait to get out of there it was late and I was tired..later I notice the nails are different shades and they are not even in length.I know they have great reviews but they just changed ownership therefore the staff they are raving about is no longer there.  Take a chance and go if you have 6 plus hours to waste on what should have been done correctly the first time let alone having to pay twice to get your nails done right ;) Read Less

It looks like a run of the mill nail salon outside and inside, but I love my Nexgen nails and my pedicure. I did an Ombré / fade on my nails for nex gen and it looks so nice! I've never had a salon do this before, Brian did my nails and was very meticulous! I of course was offering a drink, which is common at nail places, but is still a nice touch that I appreciate! My nexgen was 35.00, which is a typical market price for it, and Brian did an amazing job! My pedicure was the deluxe pedicure and was very good for the price of 35.00!  They use a very effective callus remover and there are many steps involved to ensure your feet are really soft and smooth! I don't think I could ever return to the other nail salon I use to go. This place rocks! They take care of your nails with careful intricate work! I love that the do my nails so wonderfully!I had Ben ( little girl)  as my manicurists and she was so nice, knowledgeable, fast ( 25 minutes for a full set of nexgen) and knew that I was picky with my nails so she took care of everything. Her work is fantastic, they actually look like your natural nails most people can't even tell I'm wearing nail extensions.  Dave gave the perfect sports massage. He knew everything about every muscle that attached to every tendon. he can also soften up if you ask him to; I didn't of course. I recommend my best friend- Kimmy. She got her nails done by Ben as well. she loves it as i do. Tips : Making an appointment before coming. Let's start with the positives, then why I gave this place 2/5 and won't return...For an express combination, you're actually getting more than just that. Massages were awesome!! I'd totally drive out the way if this place is as good as their massages. While I love the services, but a few things that prompt me to never return.The pedicurist asked the manicurist if my fingernails are cleaned bc my toenails weren't. I let that slide bc my feet were bad, but not dirty bad. Went to check out, my fiance paid with $5 tip.. his first time paying for my nails services. Becky said to whomever, in front of his face, that only $5 tip for two services. Unfortunately, I didn't hear it bc I was talking to, I'm assuming, Becky's daughter. Advice to the workers/owners there, please don't talk about people, and especially not to their face in your native tongue. I completely understood everything you said, and am appalled that this kind of thing still exist! This is the reason why I hate going to nail salons. Also, I know the culture, and I let the comment about my bad feet slide, but complaining about how much I tipped you is unacceptable.
