I tried this location today with my daughter and had a great experience. I got a Nex Gen fill and got my daughter a gel manicure. Both technicians were friendly and talented. First time visit! I mentioned that after being greeted. I asked for Tony/Tommie (don’t recall name now) based on reviews but he was busy. Was assured I would be happy with tech doing my nails. Tech never told me his name but did a decent job other than cutting my cuticles which bleed. The issue occurred when matching polish for my toes with my nexgen nails; I’ve gone to numerous salons and realize they don’t always have the exact color but usually a close match. The girl doing my toes never gave me her name either; after unsuccessfully looking for a polish to match my nails she told me to go find it myself and started polishing the customer next to me. After finding a color myself which still wasn’t a good match she continued working on the customer beside me. It’s crazy that no one in the salon was capable of assisting me to help with my color match and they do this All day in addition to the poor customer service! Read Less

First time there and completely displeased. After my Classic pedicure, I noticed none of the dead skin from m feet was removed. I could t believe it! Every place I have gone, they at least file your feet down to make them some what soft. I mean that is the main reason why you get a pedicure. So I asked the guy. "is it extra to remove dead skin from your feet during a pedicure?" And he says, "yes it is extra." WTH? Really? I will not go back to this place again. They should put a disclaimer on the Classic pedicure, that it does not include removal of dead skin." And they are pricey! Read Less

Heard great reviews about this place so wanted to check it out for myself. Went for a regular mani-pedi and after looking at their numerous options decided to get the deluxe manicure and signature pedicure. The pedicure was amazing and could not have asked for any more detailed attention to my feet!! The manicure looked ok when I got it done. But the nail color started chipping off within a week. My nail color usually lasts me about 2-3 weeks before it starts to chip. Also, the lady who did my mani messed up my thumb nail and it looked  so crooked, it took me a week to grow it back to file it straight. The only reason I give this place a four is for its excellent customer service and amazing pedicures!! Read Less

I have been a customer here for quite sometime and every time I come it’s AMAZING all thanks to Tommy!!! I will NEVER visit another nail place as long as Tommy works here! I've been to this salon three times within the past 6 months and I have always gotten good service. The only thing I have to complain about is getting cut when they shape my nails which seems to be a problem at every salon I go to. So it's a normal thing. It's very hard for it NOT to happen. Otherwise it's a good salon. I was greeted nicely and my Nexgen always comes out the color and shape I want it to be. I get tons of compliments on my nails. Read Less

I visited for the first time this week. Lily was my nail tech for NexGen and polish change. She did a wonderful job of shaping my nails. They were several different lengths so she had to add tips and reshape them. The salon is nice and the service friendly. I took away one star because they run the news on all flat screen TVs. I go to the salon to relax not to be bombarded with the depressing news of the day. I get that in the morning. On Saturday, it's golf and/or football. I suggested HGTV because it is relaxing and the program changes every hour. I went back on Saturday on they were still running the news. Read Less

Sometimes, "walkins welcome" doesn't mean immediate attention, which is largely dependent on staffing and the number of clients already being served at any given time. Frisco Nail Bar was our 2nd attempt to get his and hers mani/pedi service during a Saturday afternoon. Luckily, when we walked in, we were received and seated within 5 minutes...and it was off to some much needed nail service.Despite that, I felt the attention we received was average bordering on disinterest, with my man expressing some concern on the sloppy cuticle trim he received (despite his attempts to persuade his manicurist to be aggressive with his nails) and my discomfort over the scalding hot stone pedi massage we received (my tech was a little more heedful, but the stones were really more heated than any I've experienced before).Amenities like televisions, massage chairs, and a menu of refreshments including wine somewhat made up for the experience, but there are plenty of competitors nearby, so Frisco Nail Bar will need to polish their game if we are to be regulars. Came here on my last trip to Texas and was very impressed with the service!!! Everyone was extremely friendly and provided the best customer service possible. All the tools they used were new and sanitary and the person that did my mani and pedi was super delicate and careful. Definitely my go to spot when I'm in town.I read a post about someone getting an infection and I had to leave a review because from my own personal experience I doubt the infection was from getting services done here. In my opinion, they provided A+ quality services and cleanliness. I previously had an infection on my finger from pulling a hang nail that ended up being a super deep cut. Although I didn't go to the hospital for it, there was puss and it was swollen. I'm pretty sure that was the case with the client who had the infection as well. Read Less

Frisco Nail Bar is awesome! By the the best one I have ever been to. I can't understand the bad reviews, don't listen to those people. They were either having a bad day or the type of people you just can't please. I do not know how this place is so highly reviewed. The work is mediocre and very cheap. I sat with foil on my hands for over 15 minutes, because of lack of staff. They were more prioritized with filling seats than providing service so it was rushed from the time I sat down. The decor, service menu and massage chairs were also outdated which should have been a warning to me. Plus I do not like that they re-used a foot file to remove the dead skin that was obviously not sanitized and just left in a basket. Most of the salons I have been to, always use a NEW pumice stone. I've gone here three times now, and the service is awesome, complimentary cocktails. I never felt rushed and it's very relaxing. The spa is beautiful and clean. I've had my toes done by two separate people, they always look good. Tommy and Emily are the techs I've used so far...Ask and you shall receive. The first time I came here was a 5 star experience; very kind staff. The elderly gentleman at the front was so sweet and the nail technicians who I got my nexgen and pedicure with were great! Could not wait to come back.The second time going is what made me change my mind about this place.Long story short:The second time was a 1-1.5 star experience with completely different staff, and I decided to leave before even getting worked on as the attitude and service I was receiving was so poor. Decided to try this place out last week with my sister, after my usual place cancelled our appointment on us literally as we walked through the door. So glad that unfortunate event led to me finding Frisco Nail Bar! This will be my new regular spot.My sister and I both got nexgen manicures. Hannah did my nails and Phillip did my sisters. They were both awesome, and I will be requesting Hannah specifically in the future! On top of the awesome job they did on my nails, they also have a FULL bar. Literally drank an apple martini while getting my nails done. And everyone was SO friendly. This is definitely going to be my new go to nail salon. Can't wait to go back!Oh! Emily is doing my nails. She is very sweet and friendly, not pushy at all. I think I will be coming to her from now on. Her demeanor makes me feel more relaxed. I have been to plenty of nail salons. I came here to Texas to see my family. We had to stop by somewhere to get my nails done, so I went to this one. I believe this place is under new management from what the technicians told me. Either way, keep up the good work! The atmosphere is relaxing. And their pedicure options were hard to choose! They had so many! Their massaging technique is very nice, and I think I almost fell asleep. I did chrome nails and I got to say, I love it! My boyfriend also enjoyed his stay here and everyone is so well respected. They didn't know I was also Vietnamese, so they didn't say anything-which was good because I always come across nail salons that talk shit. I think that's absolutely unprofessional.I did the fresh fruit spa pedicure organic treatment. It smells delightful! I was super relaxed to the point I slept for a few minutes.
