I have been going to this Salon for years, 7 to be exact. I have always had wonderful service. I used to religiously every two weeks for a manicure once a month for a pedicure. I make it in there every couple of months now when I have time and and extra money but it's like I never left. If I could possibly not give this salon a ZERO star rating I would! Tommy was my nail tech whom was rude and disrespectful to who I assumed was was his boss Joe . I went in for the mani/pedi which was advertised as 35.00 that'd a steal so I thought... I informed Tommy when he got to me that i wanted a regular mani pedi and I had nexgen nails on my hands. He was more focused in getting me to get the callus removal done to my feet. I politely told him I didn't want the callus removal when he proceeded to touch me heels and say "are you sure you wanna leave that?" I said I was fine without getting it done and so he proceeded to start the pedi. Soon into the pedi he asked what color I wanted, I showed him the colors I chose and again said I have the nexgen nails I need removed and then I'll just do a mani. Tommy became upset and asked if I told Joe (the man @ the front) that I had the nexgen on when I walked in. I said no I didn't tell him this but I told you when you came over to me. He the said "no no no you have to tell Joe what you're getting cause if not I don't know what service you want!" he was clearly upset he would have to remove the nexgen nails and said well it'll be 5.00 extra dollars to remove (which I was fine with paying and assumed it would cost to get them removed anyways) Tommy then said" f**k Joe" and flipped him off WHILE sitting at my feet IN FRONT of myself and another customer!!! At this point I decided I just wanted to wrap up this trip. He gave me a bowl to soak my nails in and told me be sure to move around your fingers to help get the nexgen off it'll help me out.... Then Tommy began to question where I got my set done and how much that shop charged me. I was so done with the situation that I told Tommy after the nails are removed I don't want the mani I will be done. He then asked if I was sure, I told him I was sure but he still asked me again if I wanted color. Tommy did a decent pedi but the nexgen removal was LESS than sub par! I informed Joe that Tommy was rude and obviously did not respect him at all and I would not be returning. Joe didn't seem phased and was more concerned with watching whatever it was that was playing on his phone in which he had propped up in the front counter. We had a great appointment at Upscale Nails. My daughter, my grandbaby and I went in for pedicures. We had the deluxe pedicure which was $45 each. It was well worth it. We had the chairs massaging out backs, the various massages on our feet and legs, and the aromatherapy oils being slathered on. We called ahead and made the appointments. I have nothing negative to say about this place. One of my students gave me a gift card to this  nail place and I am glad that I finally used it. My grandbaby , who turned 7 today, requested 5 different colors on her toes and 5 different colors on her gel nails. No problems at all with this request. Read Less

Worst pedicure ever, and when I mentioned it to the young lady behind the desk her response was, "I'm sorry, I'll let her know." Absolutely the worst customer service in my life. Owner called my wife a liar when she told him that both of us had bad experiences - bleeding, and that it seemed really rushed / too short compared to other places we've been to. He stared back angrily, without saying anything while processing our credit card, and so we just left. No apology. No discount. No assurance that next time will be better. Nothing. That feedback angered him to the point of running out to the parking lot and banging on the window to yell "You are liars! I just spoke with the two techs and they said you didn't bleed! Come back or don't come back. We've been in business ten years - don't lie about us! " I've never wanted to punch someone so badly in my life. Couldn't understand nail tech's instructions on what to do next, she was clumsy and kept saying "I'm so sorry" over & over, they never offered me a drink but other techs offered their customers drinks, and it was super short compared to other places. Worse service and pedicure I ever got. Waited 45 minutes with my feet in the water before someone even approached me. Then got a Rushed pedicure. This place is pretty hit or miss with service, and wait times can be long. I have had decent, nothing out of the ordinary experiences here before. My third visit yesterday ruined it for me. The man who did my nails was using a nail file to remove a layer of gel on my nails before soaking off, and cut open/burned my skin with the nail file. Ouch!! Okay, I moved on, things happen. I asked him to only file my long nails, but he told me they were too thin so I asked him to cut JUST A LITTLE TINY BIT off. He cut them ALL off. And my oval/ almond shape? Rushed. Second chance at this place. Last time my pedi was rushed and looked awful. This time I made an appointment for my daughter and I thinking we would not feel rushed. Wrong. There was no one prepared to take care of us. They kept trying to get us to sit and put our feet in the water, saying  "someone be right with you". I went here to change up my usual nail salon and i was impressed. I didn't like how the girl stopped in the middle of my nails to do my pedicure and then made me walk to the manicure side after I was done with my pedicure to finish my nails. Overall, it wasn't bad and I wouldn't mind going back just for the manicure. The prices are reasonably priced compared to other places (as a broke college student) but otherwise the management could be handled better. The customer service at this place was miserable. When a person goes to a spa they expect to leave refreshed and relaxed. Instead, I left stressed and unhappy. I would never recommend this place to anyone!They are unorganized when taking people in order. The nail tech had an attitude because I mentioned that I had been waiting an hour for a simple manicure as they kept taking people after me. There was no manager there of course to help render the situation and no one left in charge. The nail tech was argumentative and rough with me while doing my nails. Horrible Horrible Place. I've been coming to this salon for over a year and mostly it is ok but the price is right. The pedi I got today was so rushed and incomplete! They had seated me in the chair soaking my feet for about 20 minutes before someone came over and started the pedi, and then the guy spent about 7 minutes total on buffing and shaping, callus removal, and sugar scrub. That is less than half the time it usually takes. When I asked why he rushed through it he got the manager, and the manager came over, told me that was the usual time for a pedi (it never has been before), put my shoes back on my feet, and told me if I didn't like it I could leave. Horrible service! My mother and I both went in to have full set acrylics with gel top coats. The manicurist didn't file my mothers nails in the way she asked to begin with. Within a few days the nails started to literally fall off. My mom has a thyroid problem so we reasoned this may be the cause and went back to upscale , asking them to please fix it. They were downright rude , the stylist accused her of picking them off even when the nails CLEARLY weren't damaged at all the...y had just come detached. Then, when she did replace the nails, she used the wrong color polish , left the nails rough, and didn't shape them like the others, all the whole chattering in a foreign language to the other stylists. Now I don't mind ESL stylists, but I personally find it rude to speak languages other than English in front of English only speaking clients. This place was not a place I will return. I was impressed with the special pricing they offer for mani and pedi, however you get what you pay for. I barely had a massage, ice cold water, and my old polish was not completely removed. I love bliss nail spa,specifically Mary, because she gives a long nice massage. After recently moving to the area, I've been to 3 other nail salons & finally I found one that I like!!!  I like to be able to go with my daughter (10) and enjoy our mother/daughter time. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and they still did a fantastic job for us both and didn't make me feel rushed. By far Ivy has done the best nails out here yet! Great place, friendly staff. I'm always getting complemented on my nails and asked where I get them done at. Love the color selection of everything from regular nail polishes and gels, to different colored acrylics for those of us who like solar nails.
