I am very disappointed in the service I received here this weekend. We used to be regulars, but moved away a few years ago. I made an appointment for my daughter and I to go with others from a wedding party. We checked in and got started. The owner, Tina, pulled the man off of my daughters pedicure and put him with someone else and said we didn't have an appointment so we had to wait. We clarified, but she just ignored us. The tech then wrapped our nails and once again forgot us. We sat with acetone on our nails for almost an hour. The nail tech that finally got around to my nails didn't listen to me and ended up making my nails to short. My daughter asked to get her eyebrows waxed and was told no. I typically just get my nails painted which takes roughly 30-45 mins. Staff is super friendly, but in my opinion there isn't any table talk which leaves you looking around aimlessly. I enjoy good conversation while being pampered. Read Less

I went around 3 in the afternoon it was no wait. Place is nice and clean all were professional. I was offered a variety of drinks in which I selected Ice Tea and received it in a wine glass. Lighten was great I love the fact they adjusted them for the customers at request. Beautiful set up and great service. I'm a happy customer and will return again. I've been to enough nail salons in my life to know great service and atmosphere. Thank goodness I took the chance coming here. Kayla did a perfect job on my pedicure and was more than accommodating. I was offered a drink, pillows for my massage chair and she changed my nail color several times per my request. The salon was full but I didn't have to wait at all. English was spoken, and there were many levels of pedicure service. I wanted to get in and out quickly, and that was in the menu. They have been here 13 years, and I can understand why. Read Less

I've been to multiple nail places and nothing comes close to Nail Spa!  The pedicures are wonderful and so relaxing. I've had acrylics, gels, and Nexgen done with whoever is available and they all have been top notch. Tina, the manager is all about customer service and making sure you are satisfied. I've been going there for years! The salon is super clean, there is never a wait for walk-ins (don't you hate the salons that put you in a chair but then you sit in the water for half an hour?!), every single person that's given me my massages have been WONDERFUL! I also do my brow waxing there and they are very good at shaping and fixing my brows. May be a bit more expensive than some of the salons around, but you will get EVERY penny's worth instead of inconsistent service from other salons. I wont' go anywhere else! Read Less

Had my nails done here once and waxing multiple times.Nails wise I got a pink/white solar set. The lady who did the job was really good and they did a perfect job, one of the best solar nails I have gotten before. $50 for the nails, $45 refills, which is expensive if you ask me.Waxing is ok, reason for the 4 stars. I've only ever gotten upper lip and brows, but unless you ask, some of the girls don't go back with the tweezers on the lips to get the last little hairs out (I'm very specific about that kind of stuff). Which for 7/8 dollars you should get everything out... Other than that, had good experience with the salon! For nearly years I referred everyone I know to this nail salon, the owner Tina is always trying to make sure that services are done correctly.  The last few years the level of service started to lag and really depends on who you get.  I have had some sloppy acrylics, sloppy gels where they started to lift only after a few days and a horrific eyebrow wax experience.  However, usual the next time it is better.  Went in today for pedicure and and a gel mani pedicure for my daughter.  $51 just for the kids express gel pedicure only? REALLY?   I was good with the $30 for the gel manicure and the $5 for the designs, but who on earth would pay $51 for a KIDS express gel pedicure?  When I questioned the charge which appeared to be 2 separate pedicures.....1) Kids Pedicure w/liner $21 and 2) Gel w/Kids Pedicure express $30, you would think they thought I was crazy?  I recall paying about $60 for both, I was told this is the way it has always been.... $81 for a kids express GEL mani/pedi!!!  Sorry Tina, your salon has got just way too pricey for me.  We are moving on....... Nail Spa, not to be confused with Flower Mound Nail Spa, offers consistent high quality service.  I recently moved to FM and have been trying out MANY different nail salons so this is an educated and experienced based review. Nail Spa is the only place  I have been consistently impressed with my nails and as an added bonus I have been equally impressed with staff and atmosphere.  The girl working the front desk is very sweet.  She always remembers me as well as my daughter who I've only brought in a few times.  She has a genuine interest in getting to know the clients.  Vin is my favorite because he does great nails and our personalities click so we have great conversations but I've used 4-5 others and have never been disappointed! They are always sufficiently staffed as well.  I know I can walk in at my convenience and if Vin isn't available still get great quality.  Thank you Nail Spa! Read Less

This is by far the nicest place I've found since moving to Texas a couple of years ago. I have tried at least 5 different places in Flower Mound and I'm so happy I finally found one I'm going to stick with from now on. They are extremely inviting and friendly. The atmosphere is definitely worth the few extra bucks compared to some places. I've always been helped right away without having to wait. This place is huge and very well staffed. So far I have had Vin, Thu, and I can't remember the others name, but they've all done such a wonderful job. I love that I can just sit back, watch tv, and I know that my nails will come out perfect. I took my stepdaughter there and we both had nails done. She has acrylics and got a fill and I had a spa manicure. The staff was wonderful! Very inviting, very pleasant, and wonderfully social. The atmosphere is beautiful and you'd never guess how large the salon is when you see it from the street. The selection of polish colors and services available is excellent. The only downfall for me is the pricing. They are a little higher than the average local salon, and sadly, most people look at pricing first as they are willing to chance the possibility of a "not so perfect" job as opposed to paying more. The salon is quite close to my house though, and the convenience factor there is worth the extra dollars! We both had a great experience and we're happy with the end result, so we will definitely be returning! Read Less

I just got back from having a manicure and pedicure done and I cannot say enough about the good experience I had.  Everyone is super nice and attentive and all are very informative and speak English very well so their was no barrier gap there.  The chairs and bubbling spas all work awesome and they offer a wide variety of services without the crowd. They make sure that you get a great massage and are definitely well pampered! I left feeling very relaxed and I would recommend this to others and I will definitely be back. It is unfortunate that some people do not understand customer service. This is how my experience played out:I walked in and the girl at the desk asked what I wanted done and I told her a pedicure. She asked if I had been there before and I said no, she then explained their options. I decided on the $51 pedicure. You would think they would want to show me all their bells and whistles seeing as I was a new customer and had never been there before, right? WRONG. I sit down in the chair and two women come over carrying various things and say hello to me, one woman sits down and the other one stands over her. The woman who was standing starts pointing at my feet and says something to her in another language, she then stands there for a little bit longer and then walks away. The woman who is sitting starts my pedicure and after about 10 minutes the woman who was standing comes back over and says something to her in a different language and the girl who was sitting gets up and the other woman sits down. This happened probably 4 or 5 times during my pedicure. It obviously didn't take me long to figure out the woman doing my pedicure was being trained. After about 45 minutes (my pedicure was supposed to last 50 minutes and actually ended up taking about 80 minutes) the woman who was training her says "is everything ok, this is her first day" Gee, thanks I already figured that out! When I went to pay I told the girl at the desk that I understand that everyone needs to learn, but, someone should have told me that you were going to be training her on me because it really ruined the experience. She said she told the woman who did the training (who I believe was the owner or manager) that it was my first time here and she needed to put me with someone with experience and she did not listen. I told her that she lost me as a customer and my Mom who was on her way to meet me there but decided to turn around after I told her what was happening. So basically I paid full price for someone to conduct a training session on me. Go somewhere else. Read Less

They really make you feel welcome and today I really needed to feel pampered and OMG Kate is doing just that if you want a good pedicure and want to feel like jello hahahahaa get either Nancy or Kate they both really know how to give a great pedicure. I came in today for a set of solar nails and a polish change on my toes.  The girl I had did an OK job but the bill was $60:  $45 for solar and $15 for a polish change.  Pricey for what it was.  Also, I got this place confused with Flower Mound Nail Spa, which is apparently a different place even though both salons are on Long Prairie Rd.  I had unknowingly been on the website for the other salon and noticed it advertised 10% off for new customers.  I was also expecting the other salon's prices, so was a bit taken aback at the high bill.  I mentioned this at checkout and both the boss and the nail tech acted extremely offended that I would ask for a discount and were adamant that they have never offered such a thing, making me feel like they were questioning my integrity.  When we finally figured out I had been on Flower Mound Nail Spa's website, they didn't offer to do anything to rectify the confusion or make sure I was happy when I left.  The work was OK but I will go elsewhere for future services.  Way too pricey and low in the customer service department. I have been going here and have learned that you need to pick one you like and stick with her - in my case...Kathy!  I jdid not have an appointment today (my fault) and had Lisa. I can honestly say she was the rudest manicurist I have ever experienced. Grabbing my fingers, twisting them....and then when doing a solar fill (which is an absolute luxury for me), gave me such little white! I made it clear I need nails short due to my work - and had to ask several more times (I think she realized how she'd shorted me on the white and was trying to avoid taking anymore). The lady next to me came in, due to chipped nails she had had done just yesterday - Lisa was also her manicurist. She too said she had the same experience with her. Lisa never said hello, introduced herself, and spoke only to the nail man next to her in Vietnamese. I like Nail Spa - but will definitely only use Kathy if I return...she's friendly, gives me exactly what I want...and last time I checked, I'm the customer who's paying and that's how it works. I have had my nails done at this business for six months. The price for a manicure is a little more expensive than other business in the area but they are convenient. I called and asked how much it would cost for my daughter (a Student) to get a pedicure done and was told they offer student price of $25 (regular pedicure is $30). I sent my daughter there last week and when she came home with my credit card receipt I was SHOCKED. They charged her $45 for a pedicure. She said she told them she was a student and didn't know what to say when they charged her so much. She didn?t want to argue so she simply signed the slip and left. I phoned again and confirmed the price $25 for student pedicure. I just went up to the business and told the gentleman at the front desk that there must be a mistake and showed him the receipt for $45 (and a $5 tip!) He said that the only way you get the student price is if you state in advance ""I want the student pedicure"" and that they charged her for the $40 higher level pedicure and $5 extra for white tip polish (less nail polish but cost is $5 more). I told him that she stated when she walked in that she wanted a pedicure and never asked for a more expensive/higher level one that would cost $20 more. She was told to pick her color and they sat her down and started the pedicure. NEVER did they ask if she wanted to upgrade to a higher level of service. They just did it and charged her more. He was unwilling to discuss any further even when I told him I would no longer come there for my manicures. TERRIBLE customer service and in my opinion they took advantage of my 18 year old daughter by overcharging her and not providing the standard service she requested. There are so many other options in the Flower Mound area that you don?t have to settle for this kind of treatment by a business. Read Less
