I was the last customer of the day, I got a pedicure and dip powder on my nails. my toes have polish on them, and the polish on my toenails is uneven and blotchy. I notice black spots all over my nails and she re filled them. Upon returning home I can still see the black spot on my nails. The first time I went it was nice they opened up new(sanitized) utensils. Now that is not the case. I have never left a review on anything my entire life. Thats how upset I am about this. Over all some of the nails designs are nice. However, time and time again I’ve tried to give this place chance after chance. I’m a very well paying customer, paying 100-140 dollars each time I go not including tip. This place is very unprofessional. The lady that owns or manages the place is sweet. But the nail techs are EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. There’s everything from Inappropriate comments flying everywhere, VERY BAD attitudes, and very rude questions that shouldn’t be asked. One of the nail techs was talking about how she gives make up sex in her relationships. Not to mention she asked me what ethnicity I was and my husband then asked how old I was and stayed that I looked 17 yrs old when I’m 22, have a child and married which she already knew.. when you get your nails done you shouldn’t be questioned about ethnicity and age out of respect and professionalism. Each time I get a mani and pedi but every time they are rushed. I’ve been told to “make up my mind”. A customer that pays 100$ each visit should never be rushed through. Upon receiving a pedicure I told the nail tech to match my toe color with my fingernail color which was grey. She put pink on my toes........ and told me that they matched. This was my first visit to this salon; its lovely- yes pricey- but hey we live in FloMo. Tiffany-the owner- began working on my new set of NexGen nails; halfway through, she hands me off to another individual that I didn't have an appointment with. Normally I wouldn't mind, but what happened afterwards, caused this to be a concern. Tiffany informed me that her eyelash client should be arriving momentarily (please note: Tiffany was on her IPAD waiting for her eyelash client during my entire apt- again no biggie).My nails which were supposed to be @ $40 somehow crept up to $60! Reg NexGen is either $40 or $45 (cannot remember)+ $5 Chrome finish (I really wanted to try it- reasonable)+ $5 Tips (yes-I wanted longer nails- still reasonable)+ $5 Tips AGAIN?! -They wanted to charge me for the other hand!!- COME ON!+ $5 'Special Shape'- WHAT?? What's so special about oval?? Seriously? Seriously though, I remember my final bill was $65- as I'm checking out front desk lady offers to remove $5 for first time customer- which was very nice. Here's the rub, as I'm handing her $70 ($50+$20) the front desk lady yells, 'Do you need any change? Since we just saved you money- Because our prices are the same as everyone else. Of course I said 'No thank you' and left. Normally that would've been the end of any future visits. Honestly, I rarely speak poorly of another's business, especially a small business. Born first generation US citizen and raised in an extremely small town, I always want to give people the opportunity to correct themselves before poor word of mouth-(or it's me in this case) gets around. I can empathize greatly.LESS THAN TWO WEEKS and $70 poorer, 4 NexGen nails fell off completely and one nail chipped (5 nails total). I should explain that I've been getting NexGen nails for YEARS- I can attest that I've NEVER had it last less than three weeks. In fact, my normal appt are always booked out three weeks apart. The reason I looked elsewhere was bc I was bored with the colors of my regular salon. This past weekend, I returned to Kosmo to show them what happened to my nails to repair them- as well have a spa pedi. Front desk lady asked me who did my nails?? I said Tiffany (owner) and some other girl- couldn't remember name- but she wasn't there that day. Desk lady says Tiffany is on vacation. And bc I can't remember name of other girl- there's no way she can figure out how to fix this problem. Basically I need to come back when Tiffany returns- but I should call first! (Huh?) Anyway, I called Monday afternoon and spoke w Tiffany. Here's what I concluded from our conversation, she's obviously a smart businesswoman. But nickel and diming your more savvy clients are not worth it in the long run. Like I told you on the phone, we are not teenagers- please do not be careless in your comments and flippant remarks. Found out a little too late that the same sloppy owners of Flowermound nails own this one too. They seriously HAVE to be paying for good reviews. First time I went I waited 15 min for someone to be able to do my nails. How are you a nail shop and only do pedicures. Call yourself a pedicure place. I wish I would've left before he got there. I've been gettingMy nails done since the 90's and I can say without a doubt the WORST 2 fills/shape were here and FloMo nails. Great pedicure spot!  Offers pricier boutique pedis but also has a great $30 basic ("signature") and $40 step-up ("platinum") pedi if you don't want all the bells and whistles of the $60 offerings.  Friendly, competent staff and management checked I. I just got out of this nail salon literally because my back had stared hurting from sitting sooooo long. The color I needed and picked out was white with 9 email finger a light silver. The color that was put on my nails  (I didn't see it until the end cause I was laid back in the pedicure chair) was a brownish tint which they realized it was coded wrong. Ok, not their fault really, I guess, but then they go over this Nexgen with another white power and take of the whatever color silver and put yet another color that look silverish grey. I'm mad bit my bad is hurting too much to even talk. Now, here's where I draw the line- because I am of color, I was told that the silver would only be 80% of what the actual color that I picked..... WHAT???? Ok!!! So now it's time for me go!!! I don't need no trouble down here in Flower Mound. A wonderful and relaxing experience! I came in for a pedi and was treated wonderfully by the staff at Kosmos. I enjoy my quiet time to read, catch up on social media, or just listen to music and sleep during my pedis. Most places, I'm having to entertain the nail tech w/ a million questions but not at kosmos! I had the pleasure of having Jenny do my pedicure and she not only let me relax but her foot massages are legit! She hit up all the right pressure points in all the right places. I love the parrafin wrap and the collagen foot masks make my feet feel years younger. The salon is beautiful and has a very airy atmosphere that allows you just the perfect amount  of zen.  I am definitely coming back for my future pedis.  I also got my lashes done by Tiffani and they're perfect. I don't ever write bad reviews but I felt this is necessary. Great new salon as far as decor. Very nice and clean. But a little advice to the employees. If you are going to talk about your customer, make sure they don't understand you. I had only asked what the difference between gel and nexgen was and one of the girls told the other one doing my pedi to be careful, this is a difficult customer in Vietnamese. The same girl ended up cutting me and didn't even acknowledge or say sorry. Overall, not a great experience. Just imagine what they are saying about you. I would never come back. Read Less

As usual they do speak in Vietnamese to each other which some customers find uncomfortable,  but doesn't bother me (maybe because I've come to expect it). My pedicure looks great so I will be back. Took my adult daughter here one Saturday.  Everyone very welcoming and very attentive. The problems they have can be fixed. #1 both my daughters' water and my water from the beginning was barely warm..so got cold quickly. #2 After I told them what I wanted ,they continued... 3 times to upsale me. #3 We were there over 2 hours because they didn't do my nails at the same time as my daughters nails. Had a wonderful experience. From the moment I went in I was greeted and continually asked how I was doing. They didn't rush me in choosing my nail color and listened when I asked for them to check for ingrown nails. The lady who worked on me was great. Stopped by for the first time hoping I wouldn't have to wait too long for a mani/pedi. Even though they were busy they were able to take me right in. The decor was warm and inviting and there was a nice selection of drinks (alcohol and non alcohol). I had Michelle work on my pedicure and she did a great job.
