I've been here quite a bit over the years and I have nothing bad to say. When you walk in they make you feel welcome and almost always get you seated for a mani or pedi, I typically do both. It doesn't matter who does your nails they are all talented and thorough. I always get the Regular Pedicure which is $30 and the NextGen for my finger nails $35. I love that the place is super clean, they have some sort of autoclave type machine that sterilizes their equipment, which is a plus in my book. I have been going to this salon for two years I have never had a problem until last week. The young man who did my nails spoke to me rudely when i accidentally moved my hand. Although I asked for square nails, the corners are sharp and not rounded. As soon as I got home and put on my glasses, realized that I had to remove the polish he applied. Part of the nail had two coats and the outer 1/4" only had one coat. I have never had a "professional" apply polish so poorly. I am totally frustrated because I thought i had found the perfect salon. I have been a loyal customer for five years. Sunday I came in for a full set of next gen and they came out crooked, with the wrong shape all together. I kept telling them the shape was wrong but nobody listened to me and the nails didn't come out -that- bad. two days later one fell off. I came in yesterday to get a new set because as I said, they were the wrong shape, crooked, and one fell off. I'm a server and I can't have nails coming off after two days. The owner wanted to charge me for a full set and after I complained, she ended up charging me $25. I have spent $75 all together this week for a set of mediocre nails. I told the owner I wasn't coming back and she didn't seem to mind. Take your money elsewhere the service and quality sucks. Read Less

Went here for the high rating, left disappointed and in pain. The younger guy that did my nails rushed through the job and really butchered my cuticles. I thought it was only 4 at first but when I got home I saw nearly every nail has damage to the cuticle. I told him this after he finished, my hands are in water all the time so this can and likely will give me nail infections. He didn't seem to care, almost laughed it off. The lady that runs the front was very nice but didn't offer a discount or anything so I left feeling a bit ripped off. This is the problem when you're working somewhere just to make money, not because you are passionate about it. As a hair and makeup artist I appreciate people who are passionate about their craft and care about how the client feels, not just trying to get the job done so they can go home. They did not do what I asked which was for a cuticle treatment before applying tips. There is not "spa" treatment of hot towel, lotions or hand massage. I felt very rushed and like they didn't care about what I wanted. The tech promised I would like the nails at the end bit I am not happy with how they feel or look around the edges and underneath. My husband and I just went into Glamor Nail for his first pedicure and probably my 1000th pedicure...Best experience ever... Ken was my technician and he was simply amazing. I am all about the massage part since I work on my feet...incredible actually...left relaxed and my toes were on point...My husband loved his first pedicure so much he wants to go back once a month!! Don't go!!!!!!They rushed me in and out and acted like she didn't understand what I was saying. I bet she would've understand if I lowdown enough to walk out the door without paying for this mess. My feet stayed in the pedicure bowl for less than 5 minutes and he was through! I said you haven't done anything, he acted like he wasn't understanding so the manager said he's not finished, but actually he was and started putting on my polish. I really wanted to like this place since the value is great.  The basic mani pedi includes hot towels,  hot stone and paraffin wax.  Unfortunately, the old saying 'you get what you paid' for applies here.Friday -  got a french mani pedi for a wedding Saturday - my manicure turned a weird yellow tint. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Sunday - I called the salon and told them about itMonday -  the front desk lady was very rude when I explained the situation and she asked me if I had been tanning (I am very brown girl so that made me laugh) but I said no. She proceeded to yell out something in Vietnamese for 5 mins and I became the center of attention in the salon. She never told me what was going on till  a gentlemen came over and started redoing my nails.  I left the salon satisfied with my nails and hoping it wouldn't some how turn yellow again. One of my biggest pet peeves about nail salons is that they have a tendency to make you an appointment and leave you waiting for 30 minutes.  I called they said 10 minutes.  After 50 minutes of waiting I asked if I could soak my gel nails while I was waiting.  The lady literally stared at me like she was trying to stare me down.  She then angrily started soaking my nails with the cotton and wrapping with the foil.  She then told me it would be an additional 15 minutes.  25 minutes later I reached for the tool that was sitting on the nail station and began scraping off my nail polish.  The lady sat and watched me as I did this without saying a word. After I was done I got up and left and she didn't say a single thing the entire time.  I have never experienced anything like that.  It was the most horrifying experience. Read Less

I went there to get a new set of acrylics for New Years, just your standard pink and white solar nails. The lady I got seemed very intense and angry, rolling her eyes every time I would try to make small talk with her and at the girls I nanny (which REALLY made me mad); she seemed like she was in a hurry and kept tiring her head to look out the window. When she did this she would file too hard or scratch my fingers, she forgot to put the coating on for the UV and she didn't file down my pinky nail, which now looks like a blob compared to the other filed down ones. When I left she asked if I wanted to reschedule for a new fill in 2 weeks... That woman must be delusional. Read Less

I was just in there at 11:00. I was having a really bad morning and thought getting my nails done would make me feel better. I had the shellac done, that's all I ever get. The guy cut my finger while cutting my cuticles, AND my nails are NOT the color I picked out. I was watching the tv and by the time I noticed it was too late. The color I wanted was a pretty greenish color and I ended up with brown!!!! With the bad morning I was having, I was about to cry that I just paid and walked out as soon as I could. Pay attention to the color your client picks out! Now I'm stuck with ugly brown nails for two weeks and I don't wear anything that would match brown. Read Less

I was at a friend's house in Highland Village and in desperate need of a manicure. I contemplated waiting until I was back in Las Colinas but after reading the reviews for this salon, I thought, hey why not. I should have waited! The plus side- I was immediately seated. And that's where it ends. I was attended by a male technician..and it was the roughest manicure I have ever experienced! He was pulling, tugging, pushing my hands/fingers all over the place. He got polish all over the edges of my fingers, on the skin, and half-assed attempted to get it off. Yes, attempted. I walked out with polish on my skin, I might as well have let my 4 yr old niece paint them. Not only that, there were ridges on my nails! Not smooth polish=higher likelihood of chipping. And that's exactly what happened, 2 hrs after I left the salon. Oh and I should mention it was a GEL manicure!! He was in such a rush to push me out of his station and get started on the next person aka more $$ for him. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning. I had the gel manicure and green tea medicine and I feel amazing, it was the best 35 min pedicure I have ever had. He really took his time and did a great job. Came to this salon after becoming unhappy with my pervious nail salon. They did a fantastic job with the shellac as well at the pedicure. They have so many options to choose from and I absolutely love that they give parrafin wax to your feet too!! Will def be coming back! Read Less

First time here. Did the green tea pedicure and it was FANTASTIC!!!! He actually massaged my legs and feet.... Didn't just rub them in the same way for ten minutes. The prices are great for the services. I will definitely be coming back here!!!!! Read Less

I really liked this place! Although this salon is a tad more expensive than my previous nail place, I could tell that it was well worth the extra $10-$15. There were at least 7 nail techs working when I came in during the day on a Thursday, so I didn't have to wait at all. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure at the same time. The salon was clean, relatively quiet, and offered many color choices. Upon sitting down in my pedicure chair, I was given a menu to choose which type of manicure/pedicure I would like. The cheapest pedi is $38 (significantly higher that my regular $20 pedi), and the low end manicure was listed at $18. As far as the service I received...it was great! My pedicure lasted an entire hour and included lots of massage and a parafin treatment. Also, my gel manicure was one of the best I've had. They even applied 3 coats of polish to ensure a rich deep color on my nails, whereas other salons I've been to skimp on the last coat. I've been here twice, once with my friend that recommended the place, second time I brought my sis-in-law. Overall the service was good, they provide little extras in their regular pedicures that most places charge more for. That was a plus. Gel mani was great, however my gel nail polish and polish on my toes didn't exactly match. Not too big a deal, it was very close. (I've had tons of mani/pedi's some gel, some not and I always match my polish). On my second visit, I brought  my sis-in-law and both my girls this time. The manager/owner remembered me from my first visit, that's always nice. She speaks English quite well. I told her before sitting in chair that last time my polish didn't exactly match and that I wanted gel again but this time I wanted an exact match. She told me to pick out the gel and they would match the toe polish to it. So that is what I did. Their colors are organized by numbers. Unfortunately they were not able to match the polish, even using their number system and after trying some drugstore brand on me, I was ready to go. The girl that was working on me handed me off to someone else, this particular lady practically slammed down a color in front of me said she found the right match, painted my toes, asked if I like it. It was not even close this time, I said no I didn't like and she shrugged her shoulders. When checking out, I told the manager/owner I was paying for myself and the two little girls. I paid and still tipped. My sis-in-law was paying and her total was greater than just the pedicure she got. We asked why it was so much and the manager/owner said that's for you and the other little girl. My total on my second visit was different, more than my first visit even though I got the exact same service and paid for one child, which is why I thought I was paying for two kids the second time. I highly recommend Glamour Nails to everyone.  The staff are wonderful with excellent customer service.  I found Glamour Nails when we moved from Tucson in April.  I only use Gelish nail polish and They don't try to use generic products on me.  My manicure lasts 2 1/2 - 3 weeks consistently.  Also, I have been getting pedicures for years and this is the best by far (I love the leg and foot massage). I have found my new guilty pleasure!  I went to another salon for years, but they became too pricey for me so I started looking around,  As most of you know, there are nail salons on almost every corner so narrowing it down could be quite a challenge.  Several people told me about Glamour so I gave them a try.  I was very pleasantly surprised, and the fact that I could even walk there wasn't lost on me (although I would never in my life cross 407 on foot!)  Their prices are uber-reasonable, and I'm in love with the pedicure which also included paraffin on the feet and leg massage with hot rocks (this is usually extra).  They are so accommodating and make everyone feel welcome and at ease.  I highly recommend! Hello ladies (and men). I am a consumer of many products, and if something is not right or goes wrong, I feel its my job as a spender to let people know: I have used this place for years. Looks like there is a change in staff, Peter is not longer there. The new person, Tracy, did a very poor job on my nails. I stopped her many times during the visit to point out how the lines were not straight and how there were bubbles in the powder. All the powders seemed to be thin/weak. I tried this place for the first time today with a friend. I have to say, overall, I was very impressed by the level of service. The inside is nothing spectacular or fancy. It's very basic, no bells and whistles, just a very standard nail salon. One thing that I found very interesting was that they use a plastic disposable lining when they perform a pedicure. I appreciated the added sanitation factor. The spa pedicures last FOREVER. It was crazy, but crazy good. It included the basic scrub, lotion and massage, but it also included a paraffin wax and hot stone massage. Very awesome indeed. I also got a manicure, and even though I forgot to mention that I wanted the gel manicure by the time she had started, my technician was very sweet about starting over. My friend also got a manicure and smeared her nails several times by accident, and the techs were more than happy to fix it. For a spa pedicure and gel french manicure, I ended up spending $55, which I thought was very reasonable considering my usual salon can charge up to $50 for JUST a pedicure. Also, gel or Shellac manicures usually run around $40 is the area I live in. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because they were a little rough on my massage and seemed to cut both mine and my friend's cuticle a little bit short on one hand :/Other than that, I definitely enjoyed it will return. I have been going here since July 2011, when a friend took a group of us here for pedicures.  LOVE THIS PLACE and can't say enough great things about it.  Staff is warm and friendly, always remembering my name and welcoming me.  Prices are fantastic... all pedis are SPA pedis with hot paraffin wax, great leg/foot massages, hot towels, hot stones, etc... and manis have hot wax included too.  I used to go to other salons, but paid much more (for fewer services... wax and stones were never included). They get busy on weekends so I would suggest an appointment, but weekdays are usually good.  I highly recommend.  They use new plastic liners too, in the pedicure spa chairs. Read Less
