Purchased a Groupon for Nextgen Nails as they seem to be all the rage. I made an appointment then missed it, which was completely my fault. When I called to reschedule and they were very nice about it.I brought in a picture of ombré nails and, wasn't surprised that there is a charge for the more complicated service.  As this was my 1st Nextgen I opted  for no embellishments, but also got a pedicure. Chi did an outstanding pedicure.  Not only did she ensure my feet were smooth and soft, but her precision on the paint job was remarkable.  My Nextgen was done by Tommy and, again, flawless.  I have gotten so many compliments! I am super picky about precision.  It is difficult to find a shop where care is taken in making your nails look so beautiful and both technicians were professional, very friendly and funny. Great experience here! Chi was very patient & detailed removing a thick gel set I had prior to finding her as well as applying the new gel. Her work was fast & she did a great job shaping my once square nails to round. I can't wait to go back for a spa pedi. ♡ call first but do go see her! Read Less

Can't say anything about their mani-pedi as I never got one.They cancelled my appointment without letting me know and when I got there she told me that she has to go pick up her daughter from school which I completely understand but wouldn't one know their kid's pick up time when making the appointment? She said she called me to let me know and nobody answered but I didn't receive any call(hello voicemail technology!!).when I said I didn't receive any calls, she completely ignored me.Bottomline: Unprofessional and Unreliable business. Went a couple weeks ago for a gel pedi with a Groupon and had a great experience... so booked an appt for a gel mani for a wedding. Bae was quick, detailed and just the right amount of chatty. Prices are reasonable enough to make me consider adding manicures back into my budget because she did a great job! Read Less

Went in about 6 weeks ago. Super long wait times because they only have one technician working (and doing the phones) I made an appointment and waited about 30 min past that. The place smells faintly of an outhouse. Really hoping it was just that day and not a regular thing. The girl ahead of me seemed to be a regular so that was a plus.  The tech was super sweet which is why I'm giving two stars. Read Less

Purchased a Groupon for nexgen nails. I've never had a nexgen manicure. Showed the tech the picture of what I wanted my nails to look like. She said "i just do what will make them look pretty?" Not having a manicure in over 15 years I figured I'd let her do her thing... I'm basically happy with what she did but it doesn't look like the picture. Close but not exactly what I wanted (ombre French mani). The technician was kind and took her time. The place was small & seemed clean. They didn't mind my boys acting crazy while waiting. But I had to pay $10 extra on top of the Groupon, I really don't know why. Plus her tip. So my manicure, that didn't include a hand massage which I thought was typical with a mani, just like a pedi, cost about $40. The place gets about 3.5/4 stars. Read Less

I have been to a lot of manicure places in a lot of different locations including my own neighborhood but I keep finding myself going back to Alfa Nails.  They are experienced, cheap, and speak pretty good English. I get French tip gel nails for $40 and they last 2-3 weeks.  I have not found that anywhere else.  I drive back to Flower Mound from Dallas just to get my nails done. Read Less
