So I’ve been here twice and both times were terrible. The first time I literally just told the lady to stop doing my nails and I would wait for another nail tech. The second time she basically slapped some nail polish on my hand and sent me on my way. I couldn’t tell the paint job was terrible until I was in the sunlight and my nails were really dry. Only star because I have to choose at least one star. They don’t even deserve that! Had I not stood up and told her to just stop, she would have filed off all my nails to a stub! She hacked away at my dry cuticles and got upset when I asked if she was going to use cuticle remover gel. She then dips her finger in water and rubs it across my nail. That’s when I stood up and said I would pay for what little she had done. Another thing that pissed me off was her filing my nails on right hand to a stub. I asked her repeatedly not to file them down since I have grown them out and I file them as needed and didn’t want them shortened down. So I went from pretty long nails to a stub. She didn’t get to the touch the right hand becaue I stopped her. (She only filed my middle finger nail so now that’s short compared to other fingers) I’m disappointed and hurt. I would never recommend these people. I should have waited until my regular place was open! Yes, nails grow back...but mine have never been this long and here she hacked them off! I went there with a best friend this past Sunday and got the $36 deluxe pedicure. We went there based on recommendations and decided to check the place out. Upon getting there it took a few minutes to get greeted and settled in. The lady got my pedicure tub going however they were struggling to turn on the chair so that the spa can work for my friends pedicure. We were asking about the services they provide and the complimentary drink and we were given a dry response as to we "can't give you any wine or any alcohol as it's not 12 p.m. yet. " nail course that's completely understandable however after it's while we were only given a small water bottle and not offered anything else. So after a few minutes later they moved my friend over to another chair so they can get her pedicure started to a chair that did work. From the beginning the services were terrible and they were very harsh on our feet. My friend even had nail polish from the last time she had a pedi still showing and they did not do any effort to fix it. We went back to show the manager the services we paid for were not given as my nail polish looked like a 5 year old did it and my friend still had dead skin that was not removed. She said she would give us a call and handle the situation. She called me later today and said because she spoke to the women that did our services, and they claimed they felt they did nothing wrong, she could not further assist us and still charged for services and a tip for themselves!!! Ok, so I would like to say that my whole experience wasn't horrible but the bits that were truly were horrifying! I had called and set an appointment at 4:45 pm, and the gentleman on the phone was polite, efficient and informative!  When I arrived for my appointment I realized the same person that answered the phone was the manager ALLEN and was just as helpful in person.. he was great! I was sat with a female nail technician first whom I'm guessing wasn't up for the challenge of a full set of longer nails, I prefer a more pointed almond shake, not quite a stiletto, not quite almond!  I know I am rather particular so I brought a photo for reference of size, color and shape! I was then sent to a gentleman that has given me a fill before named PATRICK ... this is where it gets bad!  He had cut the nail tip to my desired length and I agreed to it!  But after putting on the solar colored powder, and filing over and over and over they became exponentially shorter and more and more rounded! When I politely mentioned the shape he corrected me and cut me off saying it looked like the picture (which it did not!) when I politely let him know that one hands nails were longer than the other he said rather loudly and abrasively "no they are not!" I decided to then let him finish and just say something to the manager at checkout rather than confront this already aggressive man!  When I realized he would be checking me out I decided to stand up for myself and say that I was unhappy and would like to speak to someone about them... he then proceeded to shout at me in front of the clients and staff so much so that the manager told him something in a foreign language and he promptly went to the back! Allen the manager cane up and was apologetic and kind but Patrick continued to argue in a foreign language. Allen told me that he would have someone redo my nails. I decided to allow them the chance to make things right, a few moments later Allen informed me that he was unable to fix them but that he would have them soaked off and that I would not be charged! The manager was kind, genuinely sorry and do I thought ok I'll soak them off and just go somewhere else... when I realized Patrick would be the one taking off my nails, I was hesitant but decided to just be quiet, call the other nail salon for an appointment and Allow him to take them off! I made an appointment with the other nail salon and after I completed the call Patrick finished clipping off the ends of the nails rather harshly, told me in an aggressive tone that I needed to pay since I wasn't allowing them to fix them and leave!  I was rather perplexed at that point seeing as I was told I would have to go to another shop since they could not redo them!! I then looked at the manager and said I thought you could redo them!! He then proceeded to agree all while Patrick was arguing once again in a foreign language.   I left with jagged cut nails, sore nail beds and a humiliating experience! (Photo attached). My first time doing a manicure and pedicure ever was at this place and I definitely have no regrets being a man in a nail salon.  I've already been back for two more pedicures with my girlfriend and my mother.   This looks great and I can't rave enough about the customer service you get there.   They make you feel like royalty while like being at home and put me, being a male, in a more secluded area so that I would feel more comfortable.   I'm not one to pamper my feet but I love this place and recommend it to my family.   Not your avg salon!!  Thanks Allen!!  Thanks Emily!! I went in for a dip manicure and as the tech started applying the color I noticed it was not the color I had asked for, I think she had gotten the number of the color mixed up. I apologized and politely mentioned that and the tech got angry and essentially told me I was wrong and kept going. I was so taken aback that I just said this Color was fine too and let her keep going. I've worked in a salon environment for several years and I know that even when your client is wrong, they're still right.  I'm new to this area and I was hoping that I'd find my new regular salon but I left feeling very disappointed and frustrated that I spend $45 on a manicure that I didn't want. The facility is beautiful and the manicure she gave me was well done, but using the excuse that she didn't want to start over is not acceptable when she is the one who made a mistake. Read Less

I'm so glad my sister brought me here. The first thing I noticed was that it doesn't have an odor of nail solvents/products. It just smells clean (as in no odors, bad or good). There are plenty of stations to accommodate folks for toes and fingers and a decent selection of colors. The menu of services is comprehensive and there's a great variety of pedicure options. I chose the Thai Coconut pedicure and my sister had the Cappuccino one. Both included great scrubs, soaks, potions, etc. and the gal who did mine was an AMAZING massager. I wish I'd caught her name. My first time here. Never heard of a salon asking, or rather insisting, for payment before painting my nails. When I asked politely if I could pay afterwards, I was told twice he didn't want my nails to get messed up while reaching in my wallet. When I said I really didn't mind, he said they were too busy and no one would have time afterwards....they were not busy. Also, someone couldn't spare 30 seconds to get paid? Interesting. I reluctantly paid upfront, received an average polish with no base coat (guess he was too busy for that too) and then sat at the light station while I watched someone else pay her technician after her services were done while, as expected, he went about his plans to sit around. I'd suggest if they want to avoid breaking common consumer protections as a service-based business, they should not insist on payment before services are rendered. Terrible Service!  When I got my shellac put on I asked how much it was going to be when I came in to take it off and they said $5.  I go to get it taken off and they charged me $10.  I told the lady I had been told $5 and she could care less.  I asked to speak to a manager and they were conveniently "not there".  They totally ripped me off! I just moved to the area and have been to this nail salon twice with great service! Both times I've come in the past month, the ladies have been thorough and detailed. Great relaxation! I went to a more popular one across the shopping center but it was too busy. Walked right in here on a Saturday afternoon with no problem! I'll come back for sure :) Read Less

I got a full set. My pointer fingers, both nails do not match. One is smaller than the other. Same goes for my thumbs. I normally dont like guys doing my nails and I still dont agree. They are too rough. He burned me twice on my pinky nail. He wasnt paying attention because he was watching football score updates on his phone. I went with the dip powder and he did an AWFUL job. My thumbs came out deformed. Cost me $40 for a shitty job. I will go back to get a free fix but i will NOT be going back after that.  -Very Disappointed Read Less

I just went here today to get a fill and repair on my thumb. I got acrylic with gel. I liked how my nails turned out, but the lady seemed rushed, even though there was one other customer in there. They were all kind and helpful, though. They gave me a drink. I'm hoping that the gel doesn't peel off, like my other set from this "high end nail spa" in Southlake. I will come back again, pending the outcome of my nails in 2 weeks. Read Less

Terrible! Go somewhere else! Nail tips stuck to my daughters skin.  Acrylic dust left under French polish.  And that's just the fingers! Nail polish change on toes-truly a kid could have done a better job! Polish outside the lines of her toes onto her skin! I've been going here for the last 3 months and I'm very happy with the service I've received. Very short wait time and I've found a great detailed tech there. Van is great and very sweet. I was going to Sky Nails but you usually have to wait a while, due to lack of staff. Good service, but my gel polish seemed to constantly peel off before my next appt. I just left and Tracie did my nails. I got a dip and man do they dip! My nails from the side view makes a ushape. Then she touched to see if they were dry and left her finger print on my nail not to mention that they weren't smooth any longer. Very disappointed as I have gone there for my pedicures and they have always done a good job on my feet. I white dipped nails have turned a pinkish white within an hour after I left the salon. $40 too much for not getting a good fresh set of nails. Read Less

If I could give this place a 0... I would. I waited 20 min to be acknowledged. Then brought to sit in a chair. After arguing about who would do the deluxe mani on me...I got a guy. The guy cut me twice while doing my cuticles. Technicians changed twice. They were yelling at each other. They both were working on 4 people at the same time. The service was absolutely horrible. I just said forget it! Walked out after taking the paraffin wax bags off my own hands. The deluxe mani is a joke! Go to sky nails across the street. We came in 30 minutes prior to them closing.  They weren't busy at all.  We were greeted and seated quickly.  When the staff asked what kind of pedicure we wanted, I asked for a brochure to look through them.  As soon as I said that, they said we're about to close so we can only do the regular pedicure.  Seriously??? Why ask me what kind of pedicure I want and then turn around and say oh we can only do a regular pedicure cause of the timing.  You would think we would be given a choice of what kind of service we want since we're paying customers.  My experience was just okay.  Felt like they were rushing just to get out of there. My daughter and I have been regular customers here for the last couple years.  We go in about once per month.  On my most recent visit I had to wait about 15 minutes and when I got called back I stood up and my polish dropped on the floor.  It broke and went everywhere.  I just stood motionless as I had glass in my foot, polish on my shoe and wasn't sure what to do.  What seems to be the owner barely looked up from what he was doing and did not even speak.  I needed help and stood there for about 3 minutes before someone finally brought a towel.  All the while no one even spoke to me.  The polishes are consistently so thinned out by acetone that I wonder if the color is even going to cover.  With a few exceptions they are only marginally friendly.  At the end, without even mentioning it I was charged for the bottle of polish.  I had decided already that I would replace the bottle but the way it was handled was just rude.  I won't go back. Very poor experience!  Paid $45 for a pedicure that was to include a hand massage and a 20 minute foot massage. I received no hand massage and a 9 minute foot massage. The brochure also indicated it was a 60 min pedicure. When I went to pay, the owner or manager even turned to look at the clock because he evidently noticed the time I signed in.  Total time in the salon with drying and all was 45 minutes.
