I don’t even know where to begin with this place! The people are rude, and I don’t want to be mean but they are extremely difficult to understand. I gave the guy specific instructions on what I wanted and I even provided a photo, he did everything but. He didn’t even get the shape right! My bfriend and I won gift certificates to this salon for a mani pedi. They treated us like we were mooching and they even voiced something about the manicurist not getting her pay. The pedicurist was rough and hurt my feet twice with the sharp cuticle trimmer. After that he was sloppy with his work. Very unhappy with the service. Read Less

I walked in when they were busy without an appointment and was taken care of pretty quickly. Immediately upon being seated I was offered something to drink. My pedicure was pretty good but I've had better. Admittedly, my feet were in bad shape. I also got my eyebrows waxed and it was done really well. The staff here are definitely sales people and will ask you about doing more than what you came in for. They also really want you to pay cash and not a card if you can help it. Prices were reasonable. I'll go back next time I need a pedi and brow wax but next time I will go for the luxury pedicure instead of the deluxe. Read Less

My mother, husband, and I just had pedis and manis at this location. We have tried a few other locations in El Paso and it did not go well. This nail salon was wonderful. The people were friendly, kind, and fun. We had great massages, the prices were reasonable, and they took their time. I definitely would recommend this location for pedicures and manicures. EXTRA! EXTRA! Under New Management! The new owners, Kay & Calvin are so dedicated and responsive to their clients. I followed them from the salon they used to work at to their very own Salon. I have known them for a little over a year and their work is always excellent. The Nail Shop is conveniently located off the Mesa exit in The Promenade shopping center. This location is across Walmart Super Center, the movie theatre and restaurants. You can get some grocery shopping done, grab bite to eat and get your nails done all in the same area. The shop is open Monday-Saturday it can get very busy on the weekend so I recommend making an appointment. Read Less

The service is ok but don't bring your kids here. They had two movies in two separate TVs. One showed people having their brains blown out - I mean, gory, disgusting images -- and the other had an R rated movie playing at top volume with the F word flowing. Simple, no frills manicure. The technician took great care to really take care of my cuticles, great polish job. Would def come again!  Only didn't give it five stars because it's not the nicest place I've been to, it's def a nail salon and not a spa. I was looking for a salon that did eyelash extensions, Helen from The Nail Shop was recommended to me by Avalon Nails. I spoke to Helen over the phone and she gave me amazing customer service very nice and polite. The salon itself was very clean and classy looking. Helen informed me on how the eyelashes would be placed and how to take care of them. She was very patient and made me feel very comfortable even after an hour of putting on eyelashes! I always come to this salon during college holidays, and I'm NEVER disappointed. They are always so polite and greet me warmly when I walk in. They also make a real effort to know each of their customers- every time I'm in they ask me about my sister by name. CRAZY! They are perfectionists too. I never have to ask them to fix anything. I came here with my best friend to get our nails done before her wedding. They are SO nice. I had Cindy, she did my gel manicure and pedicure and was amazing! She took her time and made sure each nail was free of any cotton ball fuzz before painting again. I highly recommend her. My best friend had Johnny do her pink and white gel.
