When I first walked in they were very nice. I had a hard time because I had never gotten my nails done and I was having them done for prom. When I sat down in the seat I had gotten confused with the process of how they put on nails so I had asked her if I was getting the right nails that I chose. The lady became defensive and started laughing at me and talking about me. I stayed quiet because I was very upset and she still continued to make fun of me. After, when she was drying my nails, she repeatedly rubbed the nails before the nails were dry so the polish rubbed off from the top and she didn’t fix them. I made an appointment for Friday at 2pm for my nails and pedicure. The place was packed, and I was told my nail person was running late. Come to find out she was the one that I had the apt with, but was with another customer barely starting a new set. It was dirty and I will never go back. I'm in El Paso for a couple of weeks, and the nail set I have needed a refill and desperately needed a change of color as my gel nail polish was lifting. I called this morning and was able to get an appointment early in the afternoon. Anthe did magic on my hands; he's FANTASTIC! He was friendly, very thorough, and even fixed the shape of my right hand nails as they were slightly off.  The outcome is GORGEOUS! Since I had time and someone was available, I got a matching pedi. I was looking for somewhere to get a good pedicure and I came across some good reviews for this place. So I decided to pay this nail salon a visit! I made a 30 minute drive with my mother and I can honestly say it was worth the drive!! I was defiantly not disappointed! The staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable! Anthe did an amazing job on my nails. Although one thing did confuse me. On the poster where they have the prices, acrylics were priced at $25 for regular polish, and gel was $30. When I asked to confirm prices before choosing a color, I was told it was $15 extra to get gel, making it $40. The poster is a little misleading so make sure to confirm how much you'll be paying. Arrived at 9:45 (they open at 9:30) and only one person was working. My friend asked for a manicure and I wanted an eyebrow wax and pedicure. He started on her nails and told me someone would be right with me for a pedicure. He started the tub and had me soak my feet. 15 min later I asked if someone was there to do my eyebrows & he said oh yes, they will be right here. 10 minutes later he called someone. 10 min later I left, after waiting more than 30 min. I don't mind waiting but I don't appreciate being lied to. Don't tell me someone is in the back and will be right with me when that person isn't even there. I'll be honest, I wanted to be greedy and keep all these goodies to myself, but ok no, a girl has to help other girls out lol. I live on the East side, but I was in the area and decided to give Star Nails Spa a try. I couldn't be happier! I got a pedicure with many cute colors to choose from. I was very happy with the outcome. Not to mention their massage chairs are life! Way better than other places I've been to. As I was getting a pedi I noticed they do eyelash extensions as well, so I think, why not? I got my eyelashes done by Sheryl. AMAZING! They were so natural looking and full. Got original SnS in ATL and broke two nails. I live on the Far East side and have been to a few places that just don't know how to make SnS look natural, they didn't smooth out the nail. Star nails did a wonderful job and you can barely tell the difference. Well worth the trip, I think I found my new nail salon. And they have a lot of colors! Ok so I went in today with my sister in law and we had the best experience ever I've had issues with my finger I had an accident when I was younger so when I get my nails done there are some nail techs that don't do that nail right and the guy who did my nails today made it look as normal as my other ones and I was extremely happy I will definitely be back... I've tried several nail places in the area. This is one I will start using from now on. The place is clean and the gentleman did a great job with my pedicure. My feet were pampered & felt rejuvenated. The prices are reasonable. You are greeted upon entering and asked what service you'd like. After I arrived, it became very busy but the wait wasn't long. I went in and got a pedicure and a full set. The full set is great, my nails look amazing and were done well. However, my pedicure was not the best. My feet are not smooth in the slightest. I received the deluxe pearl pedicure for $50 so I expected them to be smooth. I am disappointed with the pedicure, even though the gentleman giving me the pedicure was very kind, I'm not sure he knew about how to do it correctly. Excellent salon! Very clean, friendly stylists, and lots and lots of nail color choices! OPI brand and also my favorite color changing polishes. I also stop in for quick, 5 minute eye brow waxes; at $8 they're about half what you can expect to pay elsewhere in El Paso! My go to salon :) Read Less

I had to try Star Nail Spa under New management. Sherly is attention to detail and very innovative with gel nail polish. I am very pleased with  brow waxing, specially comfortable with how clean and gentle she works in my facial area. My pedicure left my feet rejuvenated . The polishes are very unique and of good quality. The best part of my experience in this new West side Jewel is the reasonable prices. Disappointing, I was not impressed. I'm taking off a star cos they made me PAY for the manicure before even doing it = RUDE! The Polish got smudged after digging through my pocket for my credit card, & I had to ask them to fix it!When I walked in I was not greeted in a friendly manner. The male staff seemed rather bothered that I had just walked in, as he was watching a movie, and instead had a lady attend to me. She was slightly friendly, but again insisted I pay before I got my manicure. She did not introduce herself or suggest any colours.  The nail Polish has already started chipping and it's only been TWO days. Also she only applied 2 coats which clearly did not suffice. I'm going to look for another nail salon for my next mani.It also appeared that they don't do Nail Art & Design. Never going back! The guy that was doing my nails cut me while he was cutting the cuticles and he didn't even bother to apply antibiotic he just spray me with water. Not once did he apologize. I got a manicure and it was horrible, most of my nails had bubbles from the BAD JOB. Never recommending this place to anyone. Read Less

They did a nice job with my regular manicure and pedicure. The man who did mine try to upsell me multiple times, which was a little annoying. But ultimately he did a really nice job with my hands and feet, and was very pleasant to talk with.
