i googled the nail place that was near my house and that had the best reviews, I am so happy that i did this and did not go to the nail place down the street from my house. Expo Nail & Spa is awesome. i don't remember her name, i think her name is Yen not pretty sure about that, anyway i like my nails with a half moon design, it's not very common and it's tedious to do. i showed her the design and she said no problem and it turned out one of the best that i have ever had!!! I had been going to Rainbow nails for about 6 months and generally had great experiences. Since they were new and still trying to gain customers they went over and beyond. The prices were great with the opening discount that ended in April 2017, but now they are the same as any shop in the area. I recommended several clients and was excited to bring my mom when she came in town for Mother's Day. We both got pedicures and I got a SNS while she got a full set. I was disappointe...d because they forgot to give my mom a massage and my usual manicure was rushed. I chalked it up as a busy afternoon. The total was about $130 and I paid for my mom and I, which broke the bank for my pockets as a student. As we proceed to gather our belongings one worker comes over say, "tip tip". I said, "not today. I don't have it nor do I have any cash" (Tips and are cash only here). Assuming that I am a consistent customer who tips well when I get service bi-weekly I thought this was acceptable. She says, "we have ATM!" I said, "I'm not going to pay $7 for a ATM fee when I will be back and will tip then." My mom intervenes by digging in her purse searching for cash as the lady invades my mom's personal space to see what she has in her purse. She pulls out $3 for the guy who did her nails and the lady takes the money and throws it on the counter. She says, "the total was $130 and you only give $3! So now my mom and I are both offended because she is making a big deal in front of the entire shop and being nasty about it. My mom stops digging in her purse for more cash by my request. The lady walks off leaving the money still on the counter because it was not enough for her. I was highly disappointed with my treatment especially since I was a loyal customer who tipped regularly. I went here for the first time today after reading good reviews and being disappointed elsewhere, and I'm glad I did! The place is clean, bright, and welcoming. It was very busy when I went in today, but the staff all took their time to do a great job, while many places will rush through customers. If you want a place that over delivers and makes your experience special (I'm talking a complimentary back massage with your mani!), this is an excellent place to try. Read Less

I just found my new pedicure place.  I called for an appointment on a Sunday morning. I was able yo be fit in. I arrived and the place was busy. The people here are so friendly and didnt miss a beat. Lynn does an awesome job on nails. I have been to many salons and this is by far the best one that I've ever been to. She doesn't amazing job takes her time and gets it right the first time. I am going to give this place a 5 stars,I couldn't describe enough,I have been to this nail salon once, I am hooked. Love the place, it is very nice and clean environment. USB port is built in each pedicure chair, massage system, they even use disposable liner for pedi tub, disposable file and buffer, express wave sterilizer for all the tools( it is safe and sanitized). I chose this location because it is very close to my home and it already had good reviews, not too many, but the ones I saw were positive. I was a walk-in and they saw me right away. There was also a gentleman getting a haircut there and the lady who I believe is the owner did a great job. There was coffee and they offered water as well. I received a manicure and pedicure. The girl who did my nails was very friendly, made some good suggestions for color, took her time, and let me know of a special I hadn't realized they were having so I paid less than I originally thought and left a bigger tip. I tried all nail salons on the Westside but not happy. Couple friends of mine told me about this place (loving It). The nail technicians are very professional, friendly and speak fluently English. I found this is the only place wont speak their language while working on client. I was offered complementary wine, soda or bottle water. where can you find a place like this???The most importantly my nails came out beautiful and my pedicure included a lot of massage. Read Less
