After two bad experiences I had only returned to have my nails repaired. Although walking in the store I was angry that I had paid for nails that were tearing my hands up. The woman who repaired my nails actually did a complete new set and was very kind unlike the other gentlemen who has previously help me in this establishment before. I have gone to this shop for years,but since the new owners have taken over had not been so i thought i would give them a try. SO DISAPPOINTED! My pedicure was sloppy and messed up polish. I entered this shop on a whim. I have a mixed review on my service. Customer Service (4)- Everyone was kind and friendly. They are very accommodating. They offer you water or margaritas if you are interested. Nextgen - ( 2) - These account for redemption stars. I had two technicians, the first one really messed up the applications. It was suppose to be a solid light blue, but it was very thick and was showing as a marble with white and blue. The second technicians as...ked me if that was what I was looking for and once I said no proceeded to correct everything. She was very professional and made my nails beautiful. The true test comes in the weeks ahead. I have worn nextgens for 4 weeks without any issues with chipping or peeling. We will see how it endures. My first nail technician was kind, but the skills were a (0). The second technician (Angie) was (4) worthy. I've never had a worse experience at a nail salon. For one, I went after I got off work and just wanted to relax. The guy kept asking me 50 million questions and said "huh" before I could even open my mouth to speak. Couldn't tell if I wanted to cry bc of the headache or bc he kept cutting me.  Then when he was done with my 50 layer dip I had to beg him to stop using a cuticle cutter to cut off my skin and the left over dip powder he left all over me. Well, that was a total disappointment! Had my nails done this Morning at Elite Spa & Nails in Denton (see pictures). The nail technician is a quiet, professional man that does a really great job and he is nursing my damaged nails back to health. However, the other "ladies" at this establishment are neither professional nor are they quiet. The noise level rose higher and higher. The technician asked them to keep down the noise while I was washing my hands and these other ladie...s laid into him in a really disrespectful way. On my way back to the table I stated that yes, it is too loud and the disrespect displayed is not correct. One of the ladies flew off the handle, telling me to mind my own business and that she gives a "f$$k" of what I think. She was belligerent, nasty and threatening. Once I was finished, I took a picture of them (see attached) and I will report this establishment. On my way out, the nasty person called me a "bit$$" and gave me an obscene gesture. Now, I'm a paying customer that is looking for good service, relaxing atmosphere and pleasing surroundings. This place gets an "F" in pretty much every category. This place was terrible. I asked for one thing and they gave me something completely different. I had never gotten this done before on my nails so I didn't know what the procedure was. While they were doing my nails, I asked if they were putting on the next gen because that is what I specifically wanted. The guy straight up lied to my face and said yes and then I found out later he was giving me solar acrylic. Thank goodness they were the same price or I would have demanded a refund. I called and they were very unapologetic and told me to clarify next time (even though I did!! Before they started and during). I had nice long toe nails before they were all chopped off at the pedicure. I have never been but had a gift certificate. My nails have been cut so short that my toes hurt. The nails are not cut even from one toe to the next. Read Less

I had the worst customer service ever in my life here.  I went in the day before Thanksgiving for a mani/pedi for my wedding, and when I walked in there were no other customers.  Only 1 person started helping me, the other one just sat there and did nothing. At this point more customers have come in the door, and there are only 3 people working - a stupid thing for the day before Thanksgiving! I'm almost done with my pedi, the wax is on my feet, and the person says "I'll be right back, let me do a couple eyebrow waxed." I say there for 30 MINUTES, until I finally got up, went to the and back (where a whole room of people were getting their eyebrows waxed), and told her I have to go - I need to be paid out (I was so mad at this point that I considered just walking out but I'm a better person than that). She offered to finish up with painting my toenails, which I let her do since I had waited all that time anyway.  I will NEVER visit here again. Read Less

I love this Salon! They treat me like a Queen and take Excellent care of me! Each visit is a laugh a minute! The staff is all family and they go the extra mile for everyone! I guarantee you won't be disappointed! They're prices are cheaper or comparable with the other Salons and the most important thing....they've never cut me.. This place is wonderful. My daughter and I went about a month ago for a girls day. Everyone there was so patient and kind with my Lola. She is only 3 and wouldn't stop messing up her nails. Even though I was ready to give up and have them just take it off, they calmly helped her again, repainting the nails that were messed up. After that trip, they had a fan for life. Okay. Let me start out by saying there's a reason this place has only 2 1/2 stars if I could give it 0 I would. If you're looking for a good nail salon in Denton SAY AWAY FROM HERE. And stop searching now because Bella Nail Salon and spa is maybe $5 more at most and it's the best place ever it's on I-35 behind chili's. Go there instead. Anyone there will do a great job. This place however sucks. I've worked in the service industry for 5 years. I know how to treat a customer. These people do not. One day before work I went in to get my nails done. I went here by recommendation of my boss. I went in and I should have know what kind of experience this would turn out to be simply by how disgusting the place was. It was filthy... I decided to give it a chance. Worst idea ever.  The lady who did my nails was named Linda and she was very sweet at first. I showed her what I wanted and she said that would be fine. As the service went along she kept messing up. I get it. It happens. I asked her to please fix it. Immediately her attitude changed. She tried to tell me it was fine when it obviously wasn't. I asked her again to please just fix it and she started saying bad things about me to her coworker. She actually started yelling at me. I didn't yell back but after that I had a hard time not sounding frustrated. I had to get to work at this point (the appointment was going on hour 2) so I just didn't say anything and left. I called that night and said I really wasn't happy. The man told me to come back to the store then hung up on me. Surely he didn't just do that I thought so I called back. And he yelled OH YOU CALL BACK and hung up again. I went back to the store today where the man yelled and told me no refund and I said I'm not asking for that I would just like them fixed. My original nail tech then came up and proceeded to yell at me and tell me I was wrong. The owner then came up and yelled at me more. During which she called me a bitch...  WHO does that?!?! While I've been here before to get many pedicures. I recently came two weeks ago to get the nexgen. The places I went before that the nails lasted 3 weeks and never chipped. A couple of days after I got my nails done they chipped. So I went back to get them fixed. I'm now in week two and almost half of my nails have chipped. I didn't do anything I wouldn't normally do with my hands so there is no reason they should've chipped. I went back into the shop and was told I would ha...ve to come back when the lady who did them was in. If anyone else took care of them is be charged $25. This business isn't a business. The staff seems a little cold at times but as long as you're respectful, they'll give it right back. I have noticed they're very lax as far as coming in on time according to their hours, but I'm never in a hurry when I need my nails done. I wouldn't even give this place a star if it were up to me. THESE PEOPLE STOLE FROM ME! I asked for a regular pedicure, even pointed to the regular priced pedicure and the lady gives me a Mud pedicure which of course is like 30 dollars more. As I'm telling them this is not what I asked while she's doing it, they threatened to call the cops if I didn't pay! This place maybe doesn't even deserve a star. All the bad reviews are actually true and I should've listened. This was not a positive experience at all. I have had many many mani-pedis and this one was the worst. The place looked great for a nail salon but that's it. I am expected to look decent when I go into work and I think everyone should be the same way. And typically I don't care what people look like, but what you look like when you are at work is a direct reflection of who you could be when it comes to working. There were three people there that I thought were actually wanting to work. An older lady and what looked like to be her two daughters. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I did not get any of them. They got really busy and I believe because there wasn't enough staff they just wanted to rush everything. We had two other girls. The girl who did my toes did a decent job. Typically when I get a pedi I get really good foot rubs and that did not happen. The hot stone massage maybe lasted 2 minutes total for both legs. The owner of the place did my manicure that lasted 5 minutes not even joking. He soaked my nails really fast, "fixed" my cuticles, put a bottom coat and called it a day. No hand massage, NOTHING. He tried to get me to do gel, but I said no, he replies, "it's not my fault if your nails last 3 days. Don't come back and blame me." Thanks dude this isn't my first rodeo! The same girl who did my toes, finished applying my nail polish. My boyfriend who had his first experience said it wasn't worth doing it again and nothing like what "girls" talk about. His lady didn't even want to be there from what it looked like. She barely scrubbed his feet, his toe nails looked almost the same as to when we walked in, and he didn't even get his hot stone massage (we mentioned it twice and she asked what we were doing...also I was sitting right next to him??) I watched her do someone else's pedicure and she barely was doing anything. She wasn't even paying attention to what she was doing. My boyfriend was also supposed to get a manicure and they forgot. When I mentioned he was supposed to get one also, she was just like oh, and someone else did his nails. He has awful cuticles and those didn't get worked on as much as they should've. He didn't get a hand massage either. She asked if he wanted the clear coat and I jumped to say yes. She then asked if I wanted it on my toes, and on his. I got a pedicure with a color, what happened to my clear coat in the first place? It was just plain lazy. I was pissed. Worst experience for me getting my nails done, and definitely a first bad experience for my boyfriend.In conclusion, if you want to get a GOOD mani/pedi don't go here. Yes yes yes! If you are looking for a fair price and people who know what they're doing, this is your place! I have been going here for 2 years and I have never been disappointed. If you are looking to get an eyebrow wax that is relatively inexpensive, they do them for about 10 dollars and they ALWAYS do a great job! I have very thick brows and they know just how to make them look presentable! They can be a little sarcastic sometimes but it's all in good fun and don't take it personally! Appalled that this business is rated so low. They are my favorite! One bad experience, after admitting you've had plenty of good experiences, does NOT call for a bad review. If you have had good experiences there, you should realize that they're humans, too. I have been in there on slow days, where the entire family is sitting around talking and laughing with me and I've been in there on busy days, where they're running around like crazy, trying to accommodate everyone in there. Even on the busy days, they still call me by name and apologize if they have to rush or tend to me at the same time as another customer.  I have had all 5 of the daughters (3 of which currently work there), the mom and the dad do my nails and they're all highly skilled and pay great attention to the intricate details. You only have a right to complain about this if you made an appointment and they didn't take the proper time caring for you as a customer. I usually walk-in and still have nothing to complain about. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEWe have been here a handful of times and usually have a fairly good experience, but today was different. My daughter wanted to get her nails off so we went back to the place that put them on and I decided to run over to Target instead of waiting. I returned about 40 minutes later to find my daughter still soaking her fingers in acetone. I asked if someone was going to come and take off the nails (they had already started on others that walked in after us) and a man came over a few minutes later. He sat down to start my daughters take off and proceeded to tell me that no one likes to do this. To which I replied just because they don't like to do it doesn't mean you leave someone there for almost an hour soaking in acetone. He must not have liked what I said because he told my daughter to go wash her hands and when she came back she said lets just leave. I went last week for a girls day, I used to go their often  and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time was different, an older lady did my pedicure and literally rushed so fast throught the process she was slapping my leg constantly to move my feet. I couldn't relax. Their was hardly a massage and she scrapped the sides of my feet with the foot gratter, still feels like tiny paper cuts. I will not be going back there. Read Less

I will never come here again. There may be alcohol, but the people here are but friendly and do not do a good job. They say they open at 10am on Monday's, so I got there at 10:15, tried to open the door and it was locked. Then as I was about to get in my car to  I payed $25 for a horrific fill. I have been to this place twice and I knew not to go back after the first time.  Each time I have been, they try to "upsell" you to the point of being uncomfortable.  After I politely told them about 5 times, that I just wanted a regular pedicure, they woke up some girl that was sleeping in one of the chairs to do it.  Not only did she have a bad attitude, but she spent approximately 12 minutes on my pedicure.  It was ridiculous.  I can't believe I paid $25 for 12 minutes.  I STRONGLY recommend that no one go to this place. The last few times i've gone, i can't enjoy it, because every few minutes, they try to get me to purchase another service or upgrade to something more expensive. it takes any enjoyment out of going, when you have to say "no, i don't want that", a dozen times.It's a lovely place. they seem to do a good job at sterlizing, even so, i'm looking for another place to go, where i can enjoy the experience instead of feeling like my bill is supposed to pay their rent.
