Really liked this nail salon. I moved here from Austin and I have to say this salon is amazing compared to others I have tried. My pedicure included hot oil, hot rocks, paraffin, and much more it was well worth the money. Then I noticed the lady next to me her pedicure came with a candle, and at the end of it they poured that hot oil on her legs. It looked so relaxing!

I have been here once for a pedicure and it was ok. I went today to get Next Gen manicure and pedicure. I will never go back. The lady doing my feet cut my ankle with one of her tools and the one doing my manicure took an hour and a half! She had them all jacked up. She then asked me to move to the manicure table where she was trying to fix them. She cut my twice on two fingers. I told her they hurt to be careful bc she had cut me. She totally didn't listen and keep filling ...into the hurt area and adding the clear nail stuff that just burned. I just wanted to leave but then the nail owner or manager (a male) came to try to fix it all. I was so upset. I told and showed the lady next to me who was new to the area what they did. I paid $70 for these people to totally irritate me and they gave me a $20 gift certificate which I fo not intended to use bc I'm not going back. I just hope I do not catch an infection or anything from them cutting me. Horrible place. You may pay a few dollars more someplace else but it's worth not catching an illness. I took pictures but not sure if it will let me share. See More

Won't ever go back to 5 Star Nails in Denison. The owner or manager said he told me they did gel nails........He meant gel Polish. Big difference!!! Soaked my acrylic nails off first. I was pissed. And the lady that did pedicure was out of the chair more than she was in it. . What's more important than your customer???? This is no way to do business. They mislead me with the gel, and expected me to pay. Never ever going back!!!! What happened to good customer service??? What a stinking rip off!!

Do not go here unless you ask for Lisa. She is the only qualified person who works here. I just spent $65 on a gel manicure and pedicure less than 24 hours ago and the polish on my toes already smudged off and the nail tech didn't even file my toes. I had to ask her to do that. Never coming back again unless I request Lisa. It's too bad because the people are friendly and had high hopes; but not worth the money!

I had never been here before so was happy when I didn't have to wait. Everyone was nice . The lady that gave me a pedicure was very nice but she cure my big toe and scraped skin above my heal off. I could only wear my flip flops for three days . She left me sitting after she painted my toes and went and worked on another lady . After about fifteen minutes she came back and helped me out of my chair ! My polish was still wet and came off as I was getting my sandals on!

I will never return to this salon. I always get shellac on my nails and it normally lasts three to four weeks with no problems. My normal nail salon was closed and thought I would try here, bad decision. My nails began lifting within 3 days, by day five 3 nails had peeled on parts of my nails and all others were lifting and ready to come off. They also left polish all over my fingers, it was not painted to the sides of my nail and had ripples in one nail each time. I returned to get my nails fixed and not any better. You can see the white tips of my nails through what is supposed to be a dark red. Not even a week again and already have three peeling up. Very unhappy!!

We had a wonderful time! Our pedis were done by Hana and Van it was perfect. Our manis were done by Lisa and Lynn both wonderful! The only bad part was the manager was yelling at an employee and arguing with her twice. It was inappropriate and rude to carry on like that in front of customers.

Was a regular customer for a while, always mediocre work, definitely not worth the money.. The nail-tech that ended my service was rude and she messed up my nails and tried to blame it one me.. The manager was forced to redo my nails, he rushed it, still left mad. I now spend my money weekly at Lash and Nail Bar in front of bestbuy now..

Today was the first time I've been to 5 Star Nails and Spa. The salon is bright, clean and beautiful. There are about 12 pedicure stations with two "junior" stations for the little ones.When I arrived, all of the stations were full but it was a very minimal wait. The staff is friendly but not overly chatty which is fine with me. My feet and legs feel great and my toes are pretty. I will definitely be back.

Went in for a pedicure and a full set after they finished my pedicure they sat me down and completely forgot about my full set after I waited for over half an hour they asked me to pay for my pedicure and I reminded them I was needing a full set they apologized told me I should have reminded them... Which is not my job to do... And that I needed to wait another half an hour to get my nails done I was furious ! And they didn't even offer to make it right.

Really liked this nail salon. I moved here from Austin and I have to say this salon is amazing compared to others I have tried. My pedicure included hot oil, hot rocks, paraffin, and much more it was well worth the money. Then I noticed the lady next to me her pedicure came with a candle, and at the end of it they poured that hot oil on her legs. It looked so relaxing!

I had never been here before so was happy when I didn't have to wait. Everyone was nice . The lady that gave me a pedicure was very nice but she cure my big toe and scraped skin above my heal off. I could only wear my flip flops for three days . She left me sitting after she painted my toes and went and worked on another lady . I will never return to this salon. I always get shellac on my nails and it normally lasts three to four weeks with no problems. My normal nail salon was closed and thought I would try here, bad decision. Today was the first time I've been to 5 Star Nails and Spa. The salon is bright, clean and beautiful. There are about 12 pedicure stations with two "junior" stations for the little ones.When I arrived, all of the stations were full but it was a very minimal wait. The staff is friendly but not overly chatty which is fine with me. My feet and legs feel great and my toes are pretty. I will definitely be back.
