This review is just for the ‘Float Therapy’. The woman working at the desk was very nice. I floated Friday 4/6 At noon under the reservation my mother made, Kate. This shouldn’t be allowed. Just take float therapy out of your business. It’s a joke. The photos on the website are stock photos, and incredibly different from the reality. It’s described in their website as spacious, with cunning edge technology. This is a complete farce. It’s gross. The room was covered in salt. It was the smallest float tank I’d ever been in, the door was incredibly loud and shakey, and the room outside was loud too. Inside the tank was cramped and smelled weird. Not only that, the water was itchy. I have no allergies, and I’ve floated in many different places, dozens of times. Yet I’m tending to hives on my body after having gone into this vile tank. Do yourselves, and others a favor, take this old garbage tank to the dump. Take float therapy off your website, and refund my mother the $130 you stole from her. Read Less

Micah did a wonderful job during my massage. I was extremely sore from stress and a tough workout the day before. I left feeling so refreshed, and all the kinks in my muscles were worked out. I told her I was ticklish and she took extra care not to tickle me. I liked that she was quiet the whole time except to check that I was good the pressure level. Perfect amount of talking for anyone who gets bothered by chatty massage therapists. I would definitely come back and recommend Micah to anyone looking for a great massage. Read Less

I've been to many nail salons around Dallas, but never was able to pin down my favorite place. I ran into Alex, the owner, at a dog park/apartments and he gave me his card. I happen to work right down the street from Vis a Vis, so I was excited to check it out. I have found my nail place!! The atmosphere and service cannot be beat. I can only rate my waxing experience (Brazilian) because that is all I've done here, but Maria is an amazing esthetician. I've been to her about 4 times, each of them great, but this last time was even better than before. She tries different techniques to minimize pain for the client and it makes a difference. I have tried about 5+ salons in the Dallas area and it's never been this "comfortable" and I'm a baby when it comes to pain. Maria makes it go by quickly, knows what she's doing, cares about the clients experience, and has the right amount of chattiness. I will say I agree with other reviewers that this is not the place I'd choose for a relaxing spa day. A lot of their services are done in the main area where other people are getting nails done, facials, and people walking in from front door. If the ambiance/facility isn't a factor for you (for me it's a big part of how I justify a spa service), then you may still like it here. I can't speak to the spa services themselves, however, it seems like people enjoy them. I do think Maria who does my waxing performs a lot of the services and I like her so I imagine she would be great with other spa services as well. I have to say that my muscles have been neglected for years because I don't get massages. I'm currently training for a half marathon and felt like it was time to finally schedule one. I found this spa thanks to recommendations from friends and ended up doing a deep tissue massage and flotation therapy (this is one of the few salons in the area that offers it).I was able to schedule services the next day (on a Saturday) after my 'aha' moment of needing a massage. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with.I did 60-minute flotation therapy. While I was a bit skeptical, I'd heard about all the benefits tied to it from helping with inflammation to detox and alleviating muscle/joint stiffness, so I did it. While the experience itself is awkward since you are literally sitting in a pod full of Epsom salt and Dead Sea salt for 60 minutes, I can feel the benefits two days later! My joint stiffness has subsided and I feel much more energized  - I don't feel like I need two cups of coffee just to survive. I would absolutely do this again.My deep tissue massage was with Theresa and she worked out all of my knots. I felt like my muscles were brought back to life! Theresa specializes in deep tissue, which is what I needed. I plan on scheduling more massages in the future! Read Less

I seriously can't believe that people liked this place.... my husband got me the Mother's Day package and it was the most disappointing thing ever!!!! I came to relax.... and get away from my infant and everyone talked my ear off. First of all.... this is not a spa. If you've never been to a real spa, then maybe you think this is. But its not. There isn't a back waiting room, or a locker room. I got into my robe and had to come back up to the front where other people were chatting it up and walking in. It was so uncomfortable. Not at all relaxing or spa like. Second, my massage was okay and she was sweet.... but for the love of God, shut up!!!!!!! I never get away from my baby and my husband did this nice thing for me and you ruined it for me. She started out by saying, you can talk or not talk. Which meant, I'm gonna talk your ear off and ask you a ton of questions. Ugh... also, it was so deep, I was worst off and bruised and stiff afterwards. But since she was talking my ear off, no need for a relaxing massage. So I thought I could actually get something worked out. She spent wayyyyy too much time on one area and did more damage then anything. Actual Mother's Day, I could Barely turn my neck.  Yay. Thanks. Both forearms were bruised. Third, the float tank shower was clogged and had a huge hair ball in it. Enough said.  And could you get a mirror in there????? You want someone to take two showers, yet you provide nothing but a towel and soap.  The information of, you might want to bring a comb with you would have been nice. And lastly, like someone else stated, the girl that does facials was insulting and talked my ear off as well. It's suppose to be a spa!!!!!!! Shut up. Read Less

Came here because of the float/message combo as there is not an option like that in fortworth. It's a very nice location in Dallas as well. As soon as I walked into the shop, I was greeted and every employee treated me so nice! They offered me wine or water while I waited for my turn to get a message. My masseuse was Regina, it was my first time getting a message and she made me feel so comfortable! After an hr message, I was given a robe and headed to the float pod. I floated for an hr with the pod closed (you have the option to close or keep the lid open) I felt like jello coming out of there!! Nina at the counter is so nice as well. I did the water therapy float for the first time and felt 100% better when I was done . I have rheumatoid arthritis and have pain in my fingers, wrist, shoulder, and feet . After my float I had no pain and so much energy. I wish I could do the float every morning before I go to work. It's been a week since my float and I still feel great!
