A really great manicure and pedicure all around. The facility is clean and parking is easy to come by. The staff was really friendly and didn't rush my services. I asked for specific things and I received exactly what I asked for. I asked that my nails be a certain thickness, that the shape by just right and not only did they listen by the delivered. Too often I say that I would like my nails to be very thin and natural looking but I end up with very thick, very long nails. The gentleman who did my dipping powder actually listened and I'm really happy about that. My dip set actually came with a manicure too, which at a lot of places they charge you twice(which shouldn't be the case). I'll come back here because they actually trim the cuticles, massage the hands and give you the whole treatment, not just a color change for the full price of a manicure. My pedicure was great. I used to be a licensed manicurist, so I stopped going to salons for about 15 years, because I could do a better job at home. As the dip nail has emerged, I decided to give it a go, this past year. I have tried several nail salons. I liked a few, but convenience is also important. Serenity is close to home, and has always done a really nice job. One of my favorite aspects is, this is the only place I've been that offers the dip as a manicure. So they soften and trim the cuticles, do the dip, and a mini-massage. This is probably the worst nails spa experience I have had. It was my first time here and I had made an appointment prior to coming. They sat me right away and a woman started working on my nails. She had just finished cutting the nails on my right toe when the receptionist came and apologized saying they had to switch the her with somebody else as her 'regular client' was coming in. I am all for sticking to your regular client but switching people in the middle of a service is extremely rude in my opinion. What's more, the new person (a guy) didn't know any English! So I had a hard time making him understand what I wanted. I have been to many Vietnamese places but have never had this much trouble communicating. Also, it's no fun when the person you are trying to communicate with makes weird faces at you. It's so obvious!Midway he got up and brought an already used towel to use on my toes. That grossed me out! Needless to say, I am not returning. They need to get their act together. Pedicure is not just about painting the nails, it's all supposed to be relaxing. Money down the drain. Sad to say, it was less than satisfactory. I received a pedicure and manicure in under an hour. I was never offered any particular type of pedicure, so it was just a basic pedicure. They talked the whole time and gossiped amongst each other and they were less than courteous. The Visual appearance of the spa is clean. However, the instruments were just laying on the stool and I asked if they had been autoclaved, and the technician next to us said oh yes we do that here. I said the reason I asked was because I see no bag that the instruments came out of. My technician got up and went and got an autoclave bag of instruments and used those. So does that mean the ones that she was using weren't clean?? So glad I spoke up. I will not return as I feel they lack professionalism and quality service. Read Less

Gel nails chipped within a week. Manicurist did not understand when I was asking to see gel polish ring. Warm towels and pillow were a nice touch but overall, expensive for really a 7 day mani at best.Read Less

I stopped by to get a pedicure on a Friday afternoon and was amazed at the wonderful service here. From start to finish they were so nice. The salon is clean, efficient and friendly. Things that many nail salons lack. They weren't pushy with trying to get you to upgrade to other services and offer you a beverage upon arriving. Will definitely be returning. Read Less

I went today to have next gen (powder dipping) manicure. First they don't do any manicure, i had to ask for a little cream or oil at the end because my hands were so dry! They filed my nails horribly. Uneven and the powder is uneven too! My hands were red for a little bit and I have residual of the powder around the nails. Beware! Vince did my nails! Read Less

This is my first online review but my experience at Serenity Nails & Spa was so good that I had to write about it. After 20 years of getting pedicures, this is the FIRST time I have ever requested the same person each time I go (for the past 6 months). Andy at Serenity Nails & Spa gives the best pedicure I have ever had the pleasure to receive. He is detailed, thorough, precise and his massages are fantastic. The prices are competitive with neighboring salons, and the atmosphere is clean and fresh. You may be able to find a cheaper salon, or a fancier atmosphere - but the service at Serenity Nails & Spa is FANTASTIC!!! I would never go anywhere else. Try it, you will LOVE it! Read Less

Perfection, and I'm a picky girl! I think I just got my absolute favorite manicure of all time. They did such a wonderful job on my mani pedi. This would absolutely be my go-to nail salon if I wasn't just in town for a short time for work!!! Very welcoming and although busy on a Saturday afternoon, got me right in. I needed a new full set but after showing them a picture of what I had in mind from Pinterest, they saw my natural nail growth was long enough to just remove the acrylics altogether and do a gel overlay. What a terrible experience! My sister and I went to get our eyebrows done and the lady literally just insults our bodies and coerced us into getting our lips done by repeatedly calling the hair on it "man hair." Well, excuse me lady! I didn't know my body wasn't on par with your severely skewed idea of what a woman's body should be like! She also POPPED my pimple because it "was bothering her." Today I received a Spa pedicure $38 & classic manicure $16 with gel polish that was supposed to be $10 but was over charged. They charged me for Gel nails $40 and my total $82 out the door. I tried to explain a gel set requires a powder and liquid base and they say regardless if just the polish they charge $40 but the price chart specify differently. Totally unsatisfied. I will never return to this salon, the worst manicure and pedicure I have ever had!  The woman that did my manicure who claimed had been there for several years painted my nails so sloppy I immediately removed the polish when I got home.  The polish did not even cover my entire nail, so disappointing to pay for horrible work.  The woman that did my pedicure couldn't see very well and she was trying to clip my nails and was totally missing the nail.  The toe polish was a bit better than my nails but the top coat was all over my skin...maybe because she was blind!  I could not wait to get out of this salon, what a rip off! Excellent manicure. Lisa did an amazing job. One of the most meticulous manicures I've ever had. She didn't push me to pay extra for anything. And didn't even push me to get shellac (I don't like shellac-I end up not removing it like I should and it rips up my nails) and didn't tell me I need an eyebrow wax (I know I need to pluck them get off my case! Excellent salon. Clean, professional, and no pushy sales. I have been coming here for eight years. Since they opened. Amy is the best nail tech I have found in Dallas. She is very precise and a perfectionist, which is exactly what I want from my nail tech.  She is service oriented and wants to make sure her customer is satisfied. I have been to so many nail salons and this is really the best. Clean, relaxing, GREAT PEDICURES. Get the "Spa Pedicure." You may go to sleep while getting the leg massage. I had the most amazing foot massage today, thank you! I typically prefer to do my own nails or visit nail spas that use basins instead of spa chairs. I'm used to my favorite nail salon in San Francisco that used basins and also carried Dior or Chanel nail polish in addition to Opi or Essie. I haven't yet found something like this in Dallas. When I could no longer reach my toes due to a very pregnant belly, a friend recommended Serenity Nails & Spa and I've now been 3 times. Twice I made appointments and today I walked in. I have always been seated right away. The environment is very relaxing. Guests are quieting chatting with their friends or relaxing and reading a magazine. In the past I had a Shellac manicure and both spa and regular pedicures. I prefer the regular pedicure. Today's pedicure was fine and the massage was simply sublime. Read Less
