First off, my nails look good and the place is very clean and nice. The reason I'm giving in two stars is because my nail tech, Tonya, was SO rough with my nails. She cut 3 of my fingers, and it was a really uncomfortable experience. I do appreciate that she took her time with my nails, but she over filed my cuticles so much there there is skin hanging off all over my fingers, and that make my nails not look as good. $45 for acrylics, which is not bad. But I don't know if I will be coming back, only because my fingers are truly in pain. There is no reason why my nail tech couldn't have been more careful when doing my nails. Read Less

Kim did my pedicure and dao did my refill. They are wonderful in so many ways! I'm from Minnesota for training  and need much of a refill. sky nail salon had very good reviews so u gave them a shot.  Very relaxing Dao was very gentle on the grinding. They always get me in with little to no wait and can accomplish my weird taste in nail color. The place is very clean which I am very adamant about when it comes to nail places. Today was my first day at Sky Nails. I had a colored powder set removed and a new set of pink and white put on. Thuy was my nail technician and she was absolutely amazing. She listened to me when I specifically asked for thin and natural-looking nails. My nails look absolutely phenomenal and I did not endure any pain from set removal nor any cuts (like most places). My sorority sister introduced me to this salon and I love it. I always come for a pedicure. They take their time and not rush you out the door. They have so many nail color options it's crazy. I have been going to Sky Nails for quite some time.  I have been very satisfied with Andy, Vivian and Jennifer doing my solar nails.  I've always gotten fabulous service and results from them!!!   The only issue I have ever had has been with Lee. She failed to remove the underlying powder and I had 2 toned nails as they grew out.  More importantly, I developed a fungus on one nail. After a few bad visits at my last regular nail salon I found Sky Nails on Yelp and decided to give them a try. I had a pedicure and had a new set of acrylic nails put on. They started my nails while I was getting my toes done and I appreciated the attentiveness of my manicurist and my pedicure lady. My feet feel soft and fresh and I loved all the scents I had to chose from for my scrub. My nails were done by Angie and she was incredibly talented. I love the shape of my nails! Pedicure was awesome. Mani...not so much. This was my first time to visit Sky Nails. I came after hearing rave reviews on the nail powder. I do not believe the value is there. They quoted 35 then changed that to after I clarified that I wanted the powder. After I chose my color they up charged to $45 because it was a color changing powder. I knew the pricing before beginning the manicure, so I was prepared for $45. The problem is that $45 did not even include cuticle work or cleaning around the nail beds, it was just for the powder. I am disappointed because the value was not there. For a $45 manicure I expect cuticles and everything to be done. She didn't even do any lotion on my hands or arms. I see Angie and have had consistently good service from her. Very clean facility and she is fun too. I enjoy cutting up with her as well as talking to her. I get in when scheduled and notified if she is running late. My nails always look great, and I'm super sensitive about how they look. She is courteous and professional. Horrible experience! I've been to several nail salons in my day and quite a few have been an ok experience but this one was far from it. I'm going to keep it short and sweet because no one wants to read a novel of a review. The nail tech was very rough and rushed through the whole process. I attached a photo of how she cut me TWICE on the SAME TOE. Then she proceeded to put alcohol then acetone to try and stop the bleeding which was excruciating! She then painted my toe nails very sloppily like she was in a rush but there was no other customers waiting so I'm not sure why she was in such a rush. Overall it just was a bad experience for me. I won't be returning simply because this was supposed to be relaxing. Especially due to this being my first time getting away and having time to get my toes done since I had my baby. :-/ Read Less

My mom and I have been coming here for about 2 years and have yet to have a bad experience. Andy, Viviane, Angie, Anne, and Katie are our favorites. The service is always excellent and the work they do is perfect! Pedicures are done with the disposable liners and detailed attention is paid when it comes to sanitation. The Ultimate pedicure is our go-to! I won't go anywhere else for my nails.  They have a variety of unique powders for acrylics (pink and white is so 2008 ;-) ) and their shellac pedicures last me for well over a month. I work with my hands and am on my feet for long periods of time so I love that my nails always look polished. Even my hubby likes their pedicures. They get busy, but are 100% worth the wait. I am FAR from the type of female who gets a mani or pedi regularly. I went here for Mother's Day (first time) and I'm glad I did. No appointment, just a walk-in. The high ratings were accurate. I treated my mom to the ultimate spa pedicure and the higher priced manicure. She definitely liked it. She has a lot of callus on her feet and after the pedicure was done, her feet looked good. I only had a spa pedicure done and it was a job well done. 3 hours later, my feet still look very moisturized! No calluses.Customer service was good. The salon is very clean and well kept. The massage chairs are clean. The foot baths have plastic wrapped over it and it is removed after they are done with your feet. The techs all use gloves when dealing with your feet. The only con I have is their prices are high.Update [6/21/15] - The nail polish on my toes still look almost decent. It's starting to fade from the bottom. This probably started a week or two ago. Whatever it is that they apply over the nail polish WORKS. It last for weeks. Read Less

I am throughly impressed with this salon. I got there around 6:10, and as another yelper stated,  I was immediately greeted, seated with a technician, and offered a beverage. Awesome!I havent gotten my nails done in a very long time; I forgot how this goes! Anyway, I have a nail that has a bad nail bed that makes me insecure. Not once did my techician, Andy, make me feel uncomfortable. He took care of me from beginning to end, not skipping a beat, even though I ran over their 7pm closing time.The full American set cost $37 without tip (only reason why I took off a star). Albeit pricey,  its worth it. The speed,  professionalism and cleanliness definitely justifies the price,  but it still hits the pocket a bit hard.I will definitely be back. Read Less
