First time there, got Mani and pedi. Waited over 30 minutes since I didn't have appointment. Asked for Happy feet and Happy hands. Pedi was fine, they only buff your heals and not scrape it. I have gone here and have mixed input. Ladies give great pedicures however, my credit card was charged twice. Luckily I kept my receipt, which I am not normally good at doing, and refund was given but had I not looked at my monthly statement, I would not have known this was done. Stopped in a couple of weeks ago, without an appointment. Staff at front counter was very welcoming and immediately accommodated my daughter to get her nails done. Since I was curious about services offered to males, I asked about a Pedicure. They also immediately seated me for service. My daughters' nails came out flawless, and she was extremely happy. My pedicure was awesome as well. The technicians were very friendly and polite, for the most part. *Short of 5 stars for two reasons: -Trying to continually up-sale my daughter with a higher quality nail polish, when I wasn't looking was not a cool move. I made it very clear that I was only interested in the baseline service. -Continual talking between the employees in a different language. Can't be sure, but several times it seemed as if they were talking about how I corrected them on not wanting to buy the higher grade nail polish. I have been a customer since opening day. The staff know me by time. While the service may take loner than other salons, the attention given to detail is well worh the wait. With the exception of vacation, I am able to schedule with the same person for each visit. My nail technician researched and suggested supplementsand topical products to get my nails healthy. This was my first time at Milan nails and it was great. We all got the mani/pedi. My mother and I went and we took my 7 yr old daughter. Everyone here was so nice. I just moved here and I am so glad I found this place. The lady who did mine was Ann. She was wonderful. My daughter had Terry. She was so great with my daughter. We are very happy with our nails. I've gotten my nails and toes done here over a dozen times and I've been extremely impressed every time. The dip powder for my nails is my favorite because it doesn't chip at all! This is by far one of my favorite nail salons I've been to in Houston and I would highly recommend it. Read Less

It's ok here....not that warm and welcoming feeling that I get at my usual nail spot, but I wanted to use a gift card I received of $100. No wine, margaritas, mimosas, etc like my normal spot either unless you're getting the $50 pedicure and you only get wine. Truly a terrible experience.  I've been here several times and it seems hit or miss, but today was awful.  Got a shellac mani.  My cuticles were cut and started to  bleed, polish was left on the skin around my fingers and when I asked them to clean it up, he just tried to FILE the extra polish away.  I left disgusted. I was really disappointed by the way I was treated when I visited Milan Nails last week. I arrived at 6:40 on a Wednesday. Given that I had gotten there close to closing time and didn't have an appointment, I signed my name in, wrote down what services I wanted done, and stood around until someone came to the front desk to ask them if they could see me given that they were closing in 50 minutes. I told her I didn't mind coming another day, but didn't want to sit and wait if they weren't going to be able to see me. The lady in the front assured me that they could see me, so I waited. About 2 minutes later, a technician called my name and asked me to sit in one of the manicure stations. I quickly asked her if I could use the restroom before I sat down, and she said "yes, but be quick" in a bothered tone. I didn't say anything because I realized that I was on pressed time, even though her comment did bother me. When I came back to the manicure station, the technician took out her machine to buff acrylic nails to start working on my hands. I told her "Miss, I don't have acrylic nails". She then answers "what is it you want then?". I told her I wanted a simple manicure. She says "oh but you just said nails". I told her that I wanted to get my nails done. I then told her I would also like to get a pedicure and my eyebrows waxed. This apparently really ticked her off and she started getting upset saying I only mentioned nails and that I couldn't get a pedicure done. I told her that I spoke to the lady in the front and she assured me that I could get these services done. I also mentioned that I wrote what I wanted down in the sign in sheet as well. She kept on saying that I couldn't get anything done and was visibly upset that I had now bothered her with what I wanted. At this point, I was so embarrassed by how she was speaking to me in the nail salon in front of all these customers, that I had to get up and tell her that I would come back on another day, but clearly, I will not be doing that. For me, getting my mani/pedi's are a time to relax and unwind. I don't want to go somewhere where someone is visibly upset because I am messing up their schedule. If they didn't want to provide their services, they should have just said so at the beginning. I will never be coming back nor will I recommend this place to anyone. Read Less

The staff is welcoming and their service is prompt and reasonably priced.Yen and another lady (I forgot her name) did my mani & Pedi last time and today Terry did my nails. Please beware! After going through a rough year of IVF treatments we finally made it to the implementation stage. After taking time off of work to relax for a week I went to the salon to continue that relaxation with the hopes that positivity leads to a great outcome, a baby! Boy was I wrong! After complete long my nails I pay and go to my car (parked at the first spot out the door) and look down for my keys and my diamond wedding ring is gone!! I run back into the store and start searching every where. My wedding band is still on so I know I had both items when I walked in. The lady could have easily slipped my ring off when she cleaned the lotion off my hands with a towel. I have spoken to the owner several times. I have cried for days. The owner refuses to take any ownership. I even told her I would claim it on my homeowners insurance and she should have some responsibility for taking a portion of the deductible, she refuses! At this point I believe the ring was stolen. Years of infertility, you try to relax, and this happens and to top it all of she refuses to take any responsibility. Do not shop here. Felt like the pedi lady i believe terry talked about me the whole time. They literally came over and looked at my nails, I had mickey ears put on one eat because we're going to disney world felt like they were all mocking me. So rude. The nail lady I believe her name was jess  (neither had name tags) was decent she tried at least to pretend to have a conversation with me. Felt very in welcome. Had to have her redo the mickey ears, still not very satisfied. Then the pedi lady said thanks for coming and then kind of rolled her eyes and said something in another language that seemed condescending. Will not be back. Very busy shop.  I'm quality over quantity kinda girl.  I take my girls in there with me and no one is smiling and talk in foreign language a lot which is very unprofessional.  At times we feel like we are inconveniencing them but we are the customer.  We have been many times and waiting long periods to be taken back.  We have found a new place and love it. I called ahead and found out that they offer eyebrow threading.  I made and appointment and showed up 15 minutes later.  I signed in that I was there for threading and sat down. I waited about 5 minutes before anyone even came to the front. Finally someone walked up and looked at the sheet and called me back.  She took me to the waxing room to lay down on the facial/massage table.  It did not appear clean but I was fully clothed.  After a little chit chat the girl started making some noise getting ready and I opened my eyes to see her about to put wax on my face!! I said I'm here for threading.  She said let me talk with my manager.  So I laid there a bit and someone new came in.  When she started threading my eyebrows she went one hair follicle at a time.  It was incredibly painful!! I have been getting threaded for 10 years now and this is a terrible technique.  It took quite a while of pulling the hair out and getting the thread caught on her fingers.  She was very clumsy about it.  When she was finished she proceeded to pull out the tweezers and some scissors and for the next 10 minutes cut and pluck my eyebrows even more.  It felt like a full-on assault.  When I went to pay it was $18 for lip and eyebrow!!! Holy cow!!! I only pay $10 at my regular place. I am not please with how they look.  I will not return.  I will go back to my old place that is farther away.  Definitely worth my drive now. I was going to the 3D nail salon at the outlet mall nearby until they started getting sloppy, so I tried Milan today and LOVED it!!!! Very lovely atmosphere, hundreds of colors to choose from in everything, pleasant and helpful staff, and my shellac manicure is perfect. Definitely going back! Read Less

Every time I've gone I've had a good experience!  The manager Nicole is very nice and makes it a point to greet me by name.  I generally get some kind of pedicure or eyebrow wax and have never had a problem.  It's close and prices are reasonable as well! Read Less

I was quite pleased with my pedicure by Ann. I was happy to see the instruments were in a sanitation bag that were used, and they offer you water or soda as well. Ann did a great job, and gives an awesome massage. I got an additional neck massage,  they only charge $1 per minute for a massage added to your service. Will definitely return! Read Less

Just leaving Milan nails, and overall it was a great experience! I would recommend to anyone in the Fairfield area. I think they were busier than expected during their first month, but they seem to have figured it out now. Very happy with the overall experience, and my shellac manicure turned out great!
