I am sad to give this place a 1 star review since the work was well done and the girls who did my mani and pedi were awesome.Everything was going well until I get charged and I noticed that there was an overcharge of $10. I was driving home when I noticed so I called them and asked them for their prices just to clarify. The first time they answered they just hung up. The second time I called they gave me the prices and they did not add up. I was told that a manicure with shellac and a pedicure was $35+ $17 which equals $52 but the women on the phone insisted that it was $62 (which is how much I was charged before tip). I tried to explain to this individual but she was not helpful. Such a shame because I liked their service but I WONT go back to a place where they overcharge me and then do not want to accept their mistake and make it right.Because I was told that I was confused supposedly on the prices given, I just added pictures of the actual website.Manicure basic(Getaway) has an extra charge of $15 so this manicure should have been $32 not $35 and the Getaway pedicure says that you should have a $3off if you have a mani and pedi. I have been getting my nails done for as long as I can remember, but I stopped for a long time, because I felt it was a waste of money. Why? Because my nails ALWAYS Lifted in the corners. (The worst when washing your hair Erghhh!)Well time came that I needed my nails done for an engagement, so I took a chance and I am so glad I did!!! I found TONY!!!! I’ve left great reviews before but I think it’s important to continue to share my experience through out the years I have come. I just finished a pedicure with a technician named My, she is AMAZING! If you are big on foot and calf massages like I am, you will love her. She took her time and actually massaged my legs and feet. Along with that, she did an amazing job at shaping my toe nails. I used to love this place. My nails would last me anywhere from 3-4 weeks. BUT I guess they got used to me being a regular an the quality went to shit. My nails barley lasted me 2 weeks an they were always dull. Along with the prices. They never stay constant, every time I paid A different price. VERY VERY Slow service! They lie and say they'll be right with you but leave you at a table or in a pedicure chair for over 30 minutes. This has happened to me 4 times! OMG TONY! I have been biting my nails for my entire life. Not only that my left hand was burned badly and the nail bed was damage. Every time I have asked a salon if they could help I was turned down. So it's always discouraging. During a pedicure (which was also amazing) last week, I asked if they would be able to do anything with my nails. Well he looked at my hands and was like oh "no problem". He recommended I try the dipping powder and suggested a color and said it's got vitamins and is great for your nails. I ended up coming here today because my regular salon has been closed the past two times I tried to visit. This is a very clean and updated nail salon... from the flooring to the drying station, it is a step up from the standard salon you usually see. They use a timer for the massages, so you are guaranteed the full massage time you selected on the service menu. The offered a drink menu, and when I simply asked for water they brought a delicious fruit infused glass to me. I wish their polish wall was a little more organized and with a few more color options, but in the end I was able to find a color I liked. I'm hesitant to sing the praises of Tony in fear someone will take my time spot.  He seriously is awesome!  He listens and does exactly what I want and does it well.  I get the dip manicure and he never fails and makes them smooth, not overly thick, and adhered well so I never have lifting or chipping.  While they are pricey I can go 3 weeks between redos. I came here 2 weeks ago on a Sunday. Very first time here and had never heard of them before so I pleasantly surprised for them to be open on a Sunday but even more impressed by their impeccable service. I got a mani, pedi, & eyebrows waxed for maybe $80-90 (coffin nails and designs) This expensive compared to what I usually pay but I really believe the service and my entire experience from the minute I walked in until the minute I walked was well worth the money spent. I came here with high expectations because all my friends nails were awesome. Anyway got a pedicure and full set and was pretty happy with the turn out. Until the next days and two nails broke! Went back to get them fixed, the nail tech didn't have time to look for a color close to mine so she used a different color, mind you my nails were gray and she used white. Whatever it was different I was okay with it. I took my nails off a couple of days ago (2 1/2 weeks after initially getting them done ) and have come to find that I have a fungus on two of my nails. Went here yesterday. I got a mani/pedi. Icy did my pedi, Tiffany did my shellac mani. Both were good. My overall experience was pretty good. I walked in around 4:45 on a weekday and was shown where the polish was and seated right away. I waited 5-10minutes (feet in hot water) before someone came to start on me. They asked if I wanted anything to drink, the water they gave me was infused water and it was delicious. It appeared they have a little bar in there though (with 2 types of frozen drinks). I was sat on the left side of the salon. This side is next to School of Rock and you can clearly hear drums from next door. It didn't bother me, but might bother other people. Y only real negative is the toe separator method they use. They just wind some paper towel or tissue paper between your toes (see pic). Are the little foam ones that expensive? The paper is not adequate and the paper itself could easily mess up the polish. I will be back. Read Less

I had two nails that were cracked horizontally, including the natural nail which was extremely painful. I also one nail that had been ripped off and caused my nail bed to bleed which was also very painful. I was so afraid to go get my nails repaired because even touching the broken nails hurt so badly. The nail tech was so gentle with me and she did an amazing job removing the broken nails and cutting down the other acrylics. I've been here a few times before and never had an issue. However after today I will not be going back. Went in for a simple refill, ended up spending $65. When picking out my colors I asked if the hologram was extra, she said no. So I chose my chrome color and sat down. I previously had square nails that had grown out pretty long, so I asked my lady if she could do the coffin shape with the length I had already, and she said yes. As she was removing the old powder and filing it into shape, she said that she would prefer to do new set because the length wasn't long enough (after she said she could). I said ok as long as I wasn't charged. She said no problem. TWO HOURS LATER my nails are finally shaped and finished. Now the chrome. My lady left me for someone else and another woman took over. She was great, nice, explained how it worked because I was fascinated with the chrome process. My nails are AMAZING and I was happy with them. Then I got my bill.Turns out my lady DID charge me for the full set, which put my bill at $45 instead of $25 like I planned. And when the register lady saw my chrome nails, she said "did she not tell you it was $20 extra?" Are you kidding me???? I said "no she didn't she said it wasn't extra."Bottom line They made me pay for it anyway, and they gave me a $5 off coupon for next time, but sadly I won't be going there again any time soon. I had a great first experience with this nail salon. They provide prompt, excellent, and professional service. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff was SUPER WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY! Before finalizing payment, the lady at the desk wanted to make sure that I was 100% pleased with my nails. The prices are reasonable and fair. They do not harass you by offering additionally services. The whole experience was great! I have been to several nail salons in the area, but this by far is my favorite. TLDR: The first time I came here, my shellac peeled within 4 hours after my appointment (Nail polish at fault, not personnel). I notified them and they immediately offered a complete re-do. I came back a few days later and Nick hooked me up and my nails are FUH-LEEEK.When reviewing a nail salon, I, of course, take into consideration all aspects--friendliness, cleanliness, variety of colors, and above all else, quality of my manicure/pedicure. I typically wait a couple weeks to "test" how long the shellac will last bc anything less than two weeks is unacceptable.My first time here: Lynn was my technician and I heard great things about her which is why I requested her. My nails look GREAT. She was very kind and accommodating in helping me choose a color. My appointment was at 1pm. HOWEVER, I went to a friend's BBQ party afterward and by 5pm, I felt something flaking on my nail. I looked down and the entire bottom part of my shellac had flaked upward! Seriously? The entire half of the nail polish peeled off within 4 hours. This is absolutely unacceptable. I am calling them Tuesday to see how they will respond and I would definitely like re-do. With a different color. Maybe they added that thinner to the paint... who knows. We will see on Tuesday and I will update.My pedicure technician was Jessica. She was GREAT.The entire salon very clean, serene, and calm. They offer drinks complimentary to your service. I actually would recommend this place. I just think my mishap was a weird moment.Update: This time, I requested Nick to do my nails, which he was originally unavailable b/c he had a baby (Congrats!). This place is AMAZING! I might not get to pamper myself often but when I do this is the only place I go! Every time I go in they are all smiles and ready to work. Anytime someone asks where I go I refer them here! I went in last week for a pedicure and ended up adding the dip powder for my nails. The tech was super helpful educating me on what benefits the dip powder has versus older techniques and did a decent job but after 5 days it had lifted off the tips of several nails and one chipped pretty bad. I went in today and asked if they could fix the chipped one and just use nail glue to fix the rest so they didn't chip too. Christine was so nice and ended up redoing the entire thing! Stacy made sure she got to me even though it was her day off! When I got there the amazing pampering began with Anne. I recieved the Island Pedicure and it was aaaamaaazing...so relaxing. Anne made sure to match my toenail Shellac to the nail art Stacy and I had discussed. Anne also gives an exceptional massage and the salon offers customer service that goes above and beyond. I have FINALLY found the best nail spa in Cypress! The staff is unbelievable. So warm and friendly. They are not there to just heard you in like cattle and take your money. Customer service is what they are all about! I think they are a little bit more expensive than some in the area but it is so worth it. They have drinks, snacks and adult drinks.
