Received very poor service from this nail salon. The ladies that worked on me were very rough and the lady that did my pedicure cut me and stated "no i no cut you see no blood" what the heck! she was digging so far in my big toe that the next day my toe is swollen and tender to the touch. I personally like the other location better the nail color I got was beautiful but the stones fell off one by one the next day, also my thumb nail she used a smaller nail than my actual and when it went under UV light the nail was burning my actual nail it was so painful for a whole week. My manicurist kept telling me the price of my nails as if I couldn't afford it I understand letting me know how much beginning of my visit but throughout my visit was unnecessary and insulting. The first few visits I came to this place my experience was enjoyable. I went here after a long day of work expecting a relaxing situation I told the tech I originally wanted a full set w/acrylics because I wanted multi color nails. I even showed her the picture on Pinterest but she refused & argued me down asking me to just do the powder. At this point I just told her alright, I was annoyed she argued w/me not once did I raise my voice to this lady then she kept huffing like she had an attitude. I said so will you be able to do it like the picture, she said only one color. If I didn't have an event the next day I would've told her not to touch my nails. Not to mention as another reviewer said when they do both pedi & nails they do your nails in the chair which is ok, but at least go to the other side of chair to work on other hand they literally pull your other hand to their side instead my arm hurts, ughh . So for powder & pedi $100, just want to to give you an idea of what you pay in price & price for me is not an issue but for my peace of mind & doing what I ask when I pay good money + tips don't argue with your clients & refuse to do work they ask of you. I've been going here for a while now. I love that they do a good job but recently my trips there have not been so relaxing. We never get offered anything to drink, like the usually do with other clients. I always bring a friend and we are always separated. They do my pedi and mani at the same time, which is not a bad thing but I can't do anything since my hands are being used and I'm just in a weird twisting position. So today I asked a friend to come with me. I sign in and put what I want "pedi/mani shellac". While im getting my pedi and mani done my friend is doing a set but wants nail polish instead of powder, the technician was pushing her for 30 minutes to do powder, which can get very annoying. They are done with my toes and they move me to a station up front to finish my mani, I asked to sit next to my friend. The technician was fine with it. After 5 minutes she tells me that we are moving because the stuff flying around from the nail set will make my nails bumpy. So we moved to another station. Me and my friend kept talking and the technician told me to wait to talk till she is done, i inform her that it was fine I wasn't going to move. Mind you, I went with a friend to have some girl time while doing our nails. Didn't think we were going back to middle school. The lady was finish up my nails and I asked the lady if they were not using the UV light on toes anymore and said "yes those are for shellac" I replied with " yeah that's exactly what I asked for but she did not used the light" while I'm walking to the signing sheet to show her that's what I wrote . She replied with " well it's not too late, it will be $18 more", so I told her " money wasn't the issue, time is the issue. I came early to get this done and now Im spending more time here so they can fix it". I talked to the manager and he was not understanding anything I was saying, I told him there was no point of doing the signing sheet if they weren't going to use it. He tells me that I need to write "pedi shellac and mani shellac". Which I call BS because like I mentioned earlier I've gone there for a while now and I write it exactly like I wrote it today and never had problems till today. I let the manager know that either they fix it and give me the $18 discount for the shellac or I wasn't paying for the nails since that's not what I asked for. So we argue back and forth. I go to my friend and I was on the phone when he is taking pictures of my car, I ask him why he is doing that. He said he wasn't. Then after a while he is trying to be sneaky taking picture of me and my friend, so again I go and tell him he better not be taking a picture of us, there's no need for that when he clearly has a camera pointing towards us, if i find out he was I would report him. He starts getting in my face telling me he wasn't. He comes at me and starts yelling if I was going to pay or not, I told him I was waiting on my friend. My friend is pregnant and she did not feel comfortable with the own manager, so she informed the technicians that she wanted one of them to charge her out. One of the other technicians yelled her telling her he was the manager. My friend informed her that she didn't care and the lady kept going on and called her crazy. So finally another technician helps us and takes $10 off my total. I am never coming back to this place. They are just about money, trying to push their clients to do more so they can pay more instead of just letting you get what you want and relax Read Less

I am on the hunt for a new nail place in my area, so I tried Gossip because it is close to my yoga studio. My overall experience was less than even my lowest expectations. I explained that I wanted a refill of my clear powder + shellac no less than 6 times before someone understood what I wanted, and then had to tell my manicurist 4 times that I wanted my nails cut before she put shellac on them. She began to argue with me about the length of MY nails, which really irritates me as a customer. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is because the salon was clean and they had a good color selection. I definitely won't come back.Read Less

I came in with a Groupon that had expired and wanted to use the amount I paid towards a service (this is how expired Groupons work). David explained I could use the Groupon for a higher end pedicure and he would honor it for the Groupon price, since I wasn't getting a manicure (included on the Groupon). When I check out, he charged me differently. After asking for an explanation, he told me that I misunderstood. I sure did misunderstand and that's because he changed what he had said initially. My pedicure was decent but I don't appreciate being bamboozled. That's more than enough to keep me faaaaar away from here. Lesson learned. Read Less

I live in midtown but I won't go anywhere else. I wait til sundays when I'm on that side of town. The staff is friendly and professional, the facility is always clean and they do a great job. The pedicures are priced from $25 up to $60 so you can choose what is best for your budget. I get the Gossip Pedicure for $37 and it is worth every penny. The warm neck pillow and glass of wine elevate the experience. Read Less

Place was pretty, the people were nice. I'll never be back though. The nails looked nice in the slightly dimmed place. Came home, uneven tips, some are longer than the other. Amazing nail salon. I was referred by a girlfriend and I am thrilled with the experience. The salon is nicely decorated with deep blues and gold that give it a very relaxed atmosphere. It's alsoVERY clean! They have an array of services from nails, eyelash extensions, massages and facials. The prices at Gossip are also reasonable. The technicians are very professional and sweet. Got my nail done before head to Hawaii for my sister wedding, this salon is 15 minutes away from my house and always heard my neighbor talk so good about it, so I decided to give it a try, surely fall in love the minute I enter the salon, they are so beautiful and super clean and they have so much OPI nails polish.
