Beauty shop of horrors. I wanted to believe my experience would be different from all the crap reviews I read. I should have just believed everyone else. 1. Got lashes done. (I have had lashes done several times in San Diego and Austin so this is not new to me) I got the cluster set for 40 bucks. Took 35 mins, thought this was amazing deal and I am on a budget so why not. Too good to be true - indeed. I should have known better, especially walking into the back and she asked... me to lay down on a towel that had lashes all over it from who knows who before me. Anyways, I looked like I had two caterpillars on my eyes and the amount of glue used was insane. I decided to let it ride and hope they naturally fall off. Well, they started falling off in cluster and taking my natural lashes with them. Horrible! 2. Nails - I got tips with gel. The lady tried to convince me I didn't want natural oval shape and that since I have a new born I should get square. I know better, square is easier for the technician. No thanks. The acrylic was lumpy, not smooth and was not flush at the cuticle as they should be. She did not do a manicure (cut cuticles or give hand massage) and she used used files. I never go anywhere else for my pedis and shalac!! They offer complimentary water, margaritas or wine. Staff is always friendly, and fast service even when it’s busy. They seriously give the best pedicures. I never go anywhere else and I’m from out of town. Thanks tulips! Read Less

I gave 2 stars for the pedicure and the nice staff. However, I am quite upset about my permanent eyebrows. I am a natural reddish blonde with very light complexion. I specifically told the technician do NOT color them black and do NOT make them thick even though that is the current trend. I repeated this several times. I ended up with BLACK thick square eyebrows. The good news is that the shape/arch is good and they are even. BUT they are BLACK and THICK and SQUARE. If you have dark complexion, dark hair and you like the current fake look, then you will be fine but be prepared to get the look that the technician thinks you should have, NOT the one that you ask for. She did not listen at all and it is quite expensive and semi-permanent. Be cautious and look at the progress often to be sure you are getting what you ask for.... Read Less

$67 Mind you I had three different people handle my visit. Let me first say the only reason I gave the 2 stars is because the nail art design is amazing but unfortunately that was the only highlight to my experience. The nail tech the assigned me wasn't very nice, it was a very award silence other then a gesture of I was hold my hands wrong, when I actually joined in on a conversation with my sister and a very nice lady sitting next to her I got scolded and being told that my talking was causing me to move?....AWKWARD to say the least. Beyond just bad interpersonal skills the nails were nothing like what I asked for -I came in saying I needed a full solar set and eyebrow wax- when seated I again told the older gentlemen what I wanted but in more detail that I wanted tips on all but my ring finger and that was to be solid, honestly he looked a little confused so I wound up telling him again two more times. Okay so then there's no application of a nail at all and then he continues to paint the entire nail after telling him three times what I wanted, along with the young lady who sat me down with him. Who paints on the tips of solar nails anyways? Was that his way of getting more money out of it? But I digress so after choosing to do my nails the way he wanted to do them during the drying I noticed some pretty sharp bumps and pointed them out not wanting to scratch myself or anyone else and he sighs and sits down with attitude to fix the issue he had caused. Since he used my actual nail I'm really shocked that they are funky angled and honestly sad that my actual nail will be shaped this way until it grows out because he went so far back :( Overall watch your nail tech and avoid him. My sister said her experience was quite opposite so who knows I might give it another chance but definitely with another nail tech and definitely explain in grave detail what exactly you are wanting. I just moved to the area and was searching for a great nail place close by. I went to check out this place and I was not disappointed! I was amazed at their kindness and their services. The salon is very clean and organized. It has a great layout and a very comfortable, relaxing vibe. I was offered something to drink as soon as I sat down. I only had to wait probably not even five minutes before I was seated. I showed the nail guy a picture of what I wanted and he did my full... set exactly as the picture showed! I was impressed! He was very gentle and precise. He really new what he was doing. They have extremely affordable prices and also offer other great services. I went to get my nails done full set and shellac done on my nails. the tech that I was with was rushing they even cut me with grinder they use when filing nail didn't even apologize I mean they saw me bleeding. I showed them how I wanted my nails done. Teresa I think that's her lady that wears red ask me if like the nails I told her um it's not what asked for I show her how wanted my nail done when first walk in and she took me back to make my nails look like the picture. Very upset..came in for a last refill..I had natural looking eyelashes on and just needed a few spots filled. I tried explaining this to the guy but he interrupted and said very rudely "I need you to lay down so I can see" so I did. Next thing I know I have drag queen lashes on! I said nicely to the lady that this is not what I wanted she understood where I was coming from she even said they looked a bit much. So, while we're discussing this the man came in and said with attitude "I'm just trying to help ok" then went off what sounded like bad mouthing me in his language. My father passed away last week and my sister and I took a break from finalizing his affairs to come for a pedicure and manicure. The experience was OK, but when I took a shower three hours after I got home, the clear polish on my left thumb peeled completely off in one sheet, and four of my other nails lost half of the polish in a sheet. My sister's nails kept catching on her hair and other things. I stopped by this morning to show one of the staff my peeled nail, and she informed me that nail polish never stays on nails because all nails have oil on them. I told her that I've been polishing my nails for 30 years and that I've never had the polish peel off in sheets like this. When she started to argue with me like I was some sort of idiot, I left. Horrible! I came here on Monday evening only because I had broken a nail and my favorite nail salon was closed that Monday. So I go for a fill and to fix my broken nail I ended up walking out with a botched nail job! The nails were not done properly at all the acrylic was very bumpy and not smooth. Walked in with my 2 year old, I was getting a polish change and she was getting her toenails painted. I was told it would be a few minutes so we took a seat. 40 minutes later we were helped. 2 people walked in after us and because they were going to be spending more money than we were they were helped before us. I should have left but needless to say I will NEVER be back. This is somewhere I go to get pedicures at least every other week.
