Went on a whim this evening around 7:30–they close at 8:30. They were still up and running, so I stopped in for dip powder on my nails. It was a great manicure! The guy that did mine was very nice, asked me all my preferences, and did a really good job. I would say the only reason I wouldn’t give 5 stars (like 4.5 if I could) is because they looked like they had a really busy day and hadn’t cleaned up much—powder dust everywhere on the individual station, old water bottles from previous customers on the station, no clean towels by the hand wash sink, just little things like that. This place was lit. I went with my mom for her birthday and it was a great experience. I had my ingrown nails taken care of and painted, and my ingrown has yet to grow back and my paint has not even chipped yet. It was two weeks ago! I go in to have a previous set removed and due to my nail length I wanted to keep and just have an overlay on. They proceeded to pull the previous nail off instead of soaking it, ripping my nails off causing them to put another set on. Using the dip powder as the acrylic which I didn't even ask for. All I wanted was my original nails to be saved. Not only did I go in thinking I was gonna pay about $20 I Walk out with the $43 bill. I use to go to a different nail salon but they were to expensive. I came here on a mani pedi date with one of my girl friends and it was very nice. I got the detox pedicure, I loved the aromatherapy they had. And Phillip did my full set with solar powder, I love my nails. A week later and they still look good. I've been coming here for almost a year now and I love this place. All the employees give great pedicures (deluxe, lavendar) but Phillip does the best fingernails. He has great attention to detail and always gives me exactly what I ask for. I will tell you this, be very specific when giving directions, bring pictures etc and ask prices of everything. Do not get all pissy if you tell them the wrong thing because you have no clue what you want. Oh and if you're offended by the Vietnamese language then gtfo. First and unfortunately last time! It took over 3 hours to get a pedicure and a full set. I was only estimated a 45 min to an hour wait. But it was long over that! My nail was very crooked I even mentioned it was crooked and the nail tech attempted to fix but it was still crooked I had a long day at work and I expected to come relax and that's not what I got. I inquired about my nail price to the guy that conducted my pedicure he told me 35 for a full set and for longer nails... 5$ more so he said 40$ with 10% off that price due to the promotion sign on the door. So needless to say the price was not correct it was 42 and and 5$ charge for longer nails which is fine but atleast have some consistent communication among staff so there will be no miscommunication on price. I was supposed to be charged 82 then the lady said since it was a long wait I took off another 10% which she said came out to 80$ how is 10% of 82 80? 🤦🏾‍♀️I wanted to get eyelashes and wax but they were already turning people away coming in at 630 telling them to come back tomorrow they let another lady go in front of me without saying anything out of curtesy instead of me thinking she was trying to go before me if she had an appointment that's fine but let me know I had been waiting there for awhile and I usually go to Chloe nails but they were closed and I wanted to try something new but I guess I need to stick to where I usually go. Nice clean looking place, tons of colors to choose from. Pedicure :They use the liner in the tub which is a plus for me I didn't see them open the tools package in front of me because I took a long time choosing my color, I'm thinking they just got everything ready as I have read other reviews saying the tools are sealed and sterile. The massage chairs are pretty good and they are able to recline. My massage was pretty mediocre the lady just seemed to touch my feet instead of actually putting in work. I had to ask several times to have her scrape all the dead skin off which was a little annoying but she met my all of my requests. I was immediately seated and they seem to really take their time with you. They do have water and sodas available if you ask. Overall it was a great standard pedicure costs $25. I should have taken photos... it was BAD. A few nails looked good, but the others looked bad. Nothing was consistent. I have to get them removed and completely re-done, somewhere else of course. A complete waste of money. Also, they made me sit and wait so that they could do someone else's nails (that someone came in 15 minutes AFTER me!). I did not see where the tools were sanitized bc the tech took the tools out from her plastic bin and afterwards put them right back in after "wiping" them with a towel. They told me it was a 20 minute wait and it turned to over an hour, a group walked in and got seated right away, I was seated right after that how are they going to seat them right away. Took a friend here yesterday to get holo chrome powder done. They were so gorgeous but I was over ambitious and got them too long. They have a 5 days guarantee and they fixed my nails no questions asked. They not only cut them down but they buffed them smooth and redid my holo. I am so happy with it. I will definitely go back. They do amazing custom nails, may be the best in the city. Look up their work on their fb page, it's seriously awesome. Techs are very diligent, they take their time and make sure you are happy every step of the way. They are also gentle, which I was relieved to find since I always get cut somehow when I get my nails done. I took a star off because they are pricey and in my experience they don't let you know what is extra until you're standing in line to pay. I got holographic glitter on just the tip of my nail ( they dipped one time in the glitter to do both my hands) and it was 10$ extra. I took another star off because I paid for a deluxe pedicure thats supposed to be 10 minutes of massage and it was very rushed. The whole pedicure lasted about 30 minutes. They weren't busy, so not sure why it was rushed. Also they did not scrub my feet at all, they skipped it and when I asked them they said my feet didn't need it. My daughter and I have had Li, Chrissy, Salina, Jo. All of them are very good. They listen to how you want your nails done and they're patient. I've been to many nail shops in Corpus Christi, and this place has the best customer service out of them all. They take pride in what they do. Our experience was not great. First time to try this salon. Heard good reviews. We both had pedicures. My daughters feet had a lot dead skin left on feet. Toenails cut uneven. So far I have been here twice. My first visit was for a pedicure. I chose the detox pedicure and ended up getting the best pedicure of my life. I've been all over the country and have never been treating this well in some of the nicest salons of Los Angeles. The girl who did the pedi was sweet and nice to talk to. She did a wonderful job and I felt great when I left. The second visit was just a few days ago. I came in to get a fill and to have them fix the mess that was my new full set of acrylic that someone else attempted and failed at. The manager ended up taking very good care of fixing the acrylic and doing a good fill and gel polish. They look great and I feel much better about them. She was also very nice and easy to talk to. It's hard to find a place that understands what you are asking them to do, so it was a refreshing experience. The place is large and open which make it feel comfortable and clean. It's not overly cold or warm. Doesn't smell like offensive chemicals and has a great atmosphere. The amount of polish to choose from is amazing as well. I always use to go and I always had great service. Today I went and I had such horrible service. The lady that worked on me not only ended my session by walking out during my nails were drying not even telling me she was leaving and the manager told me it was because it was late and she "wanted to go to dinner". Complete Bullshit, she cut my finger because she was filling way to fast and way to hard even after I asked her to be more gentle, when I kept telling her my nails we...re uneven she kept getting mad and I still left UNEVEN. I usually get my nails done in Houston and was very skeptical about getting my nails done in Corpus Christi since i had a bad experience at another nail salon before. But I badly needed a full set and did my research and decided to go to Elegant Nails. And I must say that I was very satisfied with my nails. I asked the nail tech to make them look. Atrial at my desired length and she did just that. I honestly can't stop looking at my nails. I wish I would have gotten the name of the lady that did my nails because she was so sweet and did an amazing job. I'm new to Corpus Christi and am struggling to find a salon that resembles what I'm used to in the Dallas area. I wasn't too thrilled about the salon location but I decided to try it anyway and was pleasantly surprised. I appreciated being greeted with smiles and they were quick to have me seated. I had the Green Pedicure and really enjoyed my experience. Seriously, it was AWESOME! It was by no means a quick in an out salon visit.. That being said, if you have more than an hour for a pedicure you should come to this salon!! It took a little more than an an hour and a half, which was totally cool with me. Love, Love, Love.We walked in right before closing and they did not hesitate to make us feel completely welcome and never once did we feel rushed.  Our nails look absolutely gorgeous, and my daughter loves her "Matte" finish while I love my "Pearl" finish.
