Went on a Saturday and it was ok. I asked for a mani and shilac, the lady started up the water for a pedicure. I guess she miss understood. One lady did my mani and another did the shilac. I was confused and seemed very unorganized. The lady did my shilac so quick, but did an ok job. Until I woke up the morning and already had one nail with the shilac chipping off. I have been coming here for YEARS and I always get reliable service especially for the good price. Well last month I came here and got a pretty good pedicure from a really nice woman. The only problem was that I could tell she had pulled the nail too far on the big toe, because it hurt quite a bit. Otherwise I left happy and tipped well. Well sure enough, within days my toe swelled up to the size of a golf ball and a week or two later I had to go to the Dr and get antibiotics for an infection that was directly caused by the pedicure. Now, I get regular pedicures, so I'm not surprised that this happened, it was a pretty simple mistake. However, it ended up being a very big issue and caused me a great deal of pain for a month, not to mention the fact that I went in for a BEAUTY treatment and left with an eyesore. Well, when I went in just now to ask the salon to re-pedicure my feet and right their wrong- (the toenail is STILL visibly damaged btw) the manager Helen was wholly unhelpful and tried to put all the blame on me. She first thought I wanted her to treat an ingrown toenail but when I explained that I had been to the Dr and knew that they wouldn't treat it, she said I should have come in there first.... Contradictory don't you think? Anyway, I will be complaining to the better business bureau and whoever else will listen to me, but anyone who is thinking of going here should go over to VN NAILS INSTEAD!!! Moved to the area right by them and thought they would be my new nail place. Nope, the old lady did my set while trying to get more money out of me by insults like I really do need my lip waxed. She was incredibly RUDE! Then I gave them a second chance and thought I just wouldn't use her, but the Owner I'm assuming did my fill to a new set falling off, and just didn't care. I went in for a mani/pedi and left with aggravation. The lady who did my toes was rushing and did not do a good job and I asked her to take off the polish. Another lady jumped in and repainted them. She did a good job, but at this point, I had been there almost 2 hours with my 4-year-old. I then sat down to get shellac on my fingernails. The lady (who I think is the manager) got polish on my skin and said it was "because my nails are too short". I have gotten SEVERAL manicure...s that turned out beautifully with this length of nail. I had her take off the polish because it had now been 2 1/2 hours and I was ready to leave. I showed her my nails because they weren't even filed evenly and she said, and I quote, "your nails too short, that's why we can't make them even. If you had longer nails, we could make them even". HUH?! Lots of time and money later.....highly dissatisfied and outraged. What's worse, she did nothing to try and make the situation better. I always receive great service here. Don't be fooled by the fact that it's in Walmart because I've tried other places since moving to San Antonio and I had to come back. It's  usually pretty busy because they're good. They talk to you for real and not that scripted salon talk either. Never-Never-Never1st- I goggled them all said great place. first impressions-inside Wal-Mart, when I called for apt, lady who answered phone had very broke English. Could not really understand what she was saying, made apt, took me on time, needed fills on solar nails  location small, very crammed into location, dirty, tools not opened in front of customer as should be, smoking in salon, waxing done over and over with same cloth headband. Tech put waxing stick in her mouth, over and over. Problem: drilled my nail bed, very red, can see lines of fills, and a red lipstick mark on my nail bed, as well as air bubbles under new solar power not even 24 hours later nails are lifting. Very unhappy- called location, explained my issue, and was told to come see them and they would do what they could-or they would grow out that way.Will not be paying for this. will not use them again.Went by after work to show "V" and was told.... Very disappointed. I only had my eyebrows done. The wax was to hot and left me with blisters. The tech didn't clean up the line so didn't look like they were done. Well never return. The place is cramped and dirty. I also seen they re-wash the disposable pedicure flip flops Read Less

Guess I'm the first review! I've come here twice before. Once to get a nail repaired and second to get them removed. The people are always friendly and he did a great job on the repair. They up sale nicely with no pressure. So to me that's a great thing. I'm coming today for a full set. I will be back to update when I'm done! Read Less

Horrible job service was okay but kept trying to get me to get a pedicure too and my SOLAR nails we lifting on day 2!!!!!!!! Never again..... Oh and eye brows looked amazing but they charges my mom $10 and me $8 go figure.... Not fair Read Less
