The staff was friendly but definitely will not be going back. Overpriced and did a horrible job . The lady doing my Pedicure did not do as I was asking. All she really did was paint my toenails which I paid extra for shellac and they left the sides unpainted on both my hands and feet! I have been looking for a place to get my nails done since moving down here a few months ago. I tried one place closer to my home and did not like it at all. The place needed a serious makeover and needed to upgrade their services. All this to say, URBAN ESCAPE was awesome! I booked an appointment with "Tony" because all the great reviews he has on Yelp. Surprisingly when I showed up they didn't know about the appointment, it seems like the person who answered the phone  didn't  write anything down. But what was shocking to me, was his reaction (Tony's), he immediately said "I don't have an appointment", I felt he was anxious to go home after the customer he was taking care of in that moment, and he had a awkward expression on his face. I felt bad, I felt as I was asking for a free manicure and if I was a person that he didn't want to have as his customer. Fortunately the lady at the front was really kind, she apologized and she offered to do my manicure, I was not sure, I was already negatively shocked but I accepted. She did an amazing job on my very short, thin and delicate nails. I love the results and how kind she was to me. Someone needs to teach some customer service skills to this guy. He is probably a very good nail technician but not good enough to deserve new customers. I gave 5 stars because of the service I got form Stephanie (if I am not mistaken that's the name of that lady).  She did an amazing job and I will go back to her soon. Read Less

I stopped in totally spur of the moment because they were the only place open at 9 am. Natalie sat down with me right away and I am so glad she scooped me up. She explained different things available in getting my nails done and we settled on dipping powder over my natural nails. The ladies at Urban Escape have a really good rapport with their clients.I have seen several women walk in to be greeted by everyone and the workers already know what they want and who they normally see. Once, I over heard someone catching up with their manicurist about how the family vacation went.I favor shellac on my nails and Urban has tons of colors to choose from. All the tips I have gotten are the length I ask for and put on nice and straight. They are a bit pricey, though. My last visit was a shellac pedicure and a refill on my shellac manicure with tips = $90.00!NINETY.Darn good thing it last awhile --- but it makes my visits few and far between. Read Less
