I'm writing this on part of the last, and final trip I took there before my daughter was born. Now, there are a few technicians I prefer there, and man, are they always booked. I should have known to book my girl before I got there, but I did not and I suffered the consequences later. As one other reviewer stated, the front desk girl is always belittling and bashing the nail techs. She's been there for years. Won't call her out by name, but she knows who she is. A lot of attitude and just plain ol' grouchy when she wants to be at the girls working there. Even talked about a customer in the premium room, while the customer was at the hand stations. Who does that?? Conversation was to the extent: [Next time, when you have a customer like her, ask her what's wrong. These customers always complain about everything]. Really, 'these' customers. I am not sure who she was talking about, but that sort of conversation should be done in the back room or after hours, not when there are people around you. As for my 'newer' tech and my service: I requested that I have shellac toes and nails. The girl started painting my nails. I did not see the bottle she was using, because I was on a work call. I (yes, I should smack myself in the face for saying this) assumed she was using shellac. Well, after 3 coats and the color looking off, and needing to have the nails dry and no UV light, I figured she used regular polish. She offered to redo them, and I was in a crunch for time, so I told her to forget it. At that point, she walked me over to the nail station (with WET toe nails) and that's when I noticed that the nails did not look good. Like they had too many layers of polish on them and a kid painted them. I was pretty upset the pedicure took that long to begin with (it's the reason I do shellac nails to begin with) and they looked horrible. She repainted the worst one and I was pretty much done with it. She wanted to do a deluxe manicure and I refused the service at this point, seeing her quality of work. When I got to the front, the bill came out to the price for both mani/pedi shellac. I told the front desk girl that she did not do shellac and that I was not paying for that cost. Well, the FD girl started yelling at my tech, as I've heard her do so many other times and they were arguing with me on the pricing. After I smudged the toe again, to prove that the nails were not shellac, then the FD girl finally understood what my entire plight was during this visit. Needless to say, after 4 years of going here, getting my friends addicted to their (old) zero gravity chairs (don't get me started on the new chairs they have. They really suck compared to the old ones, and they are so uncomfortable) I will not be returning. Just not worth the time or money, especially since this salon is on the higher-end of the cost range for nail salons. Nail salons are a dime a dozen. This one is just one of the many that I will write off. Read Less
