My wonderful nail tech Angie Doan moved to Nail Lab over a year ago and I followed her. Angie is always prepared when I enter the salon, she helps me pick out my polish and she concentrates on me the entire time. She does facials which are amazing. There aren’t enough words to describe how badass June and her team is! I travel 40 freakin minutes (without traffic!) to just get my nails done by them - even though I have gazillions of nail salons nearby just 2 minutes away. They’re very professional, friendly and clean. They do ANYTHING I want, exactly the way I want - end results always look GORGEOUS and not like a bad imitations like other salons do. Almost crashed my car this morning bc i couldn't stop staring at my nails. I've always had really bad experiences with nail salons, like really really bad. To the point where I've never been to the same salon to see the same tech more than once. I booked an appt on yelp with June specifically since I'd heard good things about her and wanted to see for myself. I sent her the nail art that i wanted before and when i got there, she helped me choose what type of polish to use etc. She ended up having to spend extra time on my nails since there were still remnants of my previous dip job (rmr how i said I've had bad experiences in the past) which meant that she stayed an hour after closing. Will not come back here. I went in yesterday for an express manicure and it took over an hour. The girl who did my nails cut the F out of two of my fingers with cuticle scissors, one was actually bleeding, and they still hurt today. One is a tad swollen and red, if it gets any worse I'm going to the doctor. Many of my nails are filed uneven, but I was so ready to get out of there because it was taking so long that I finally just told her they were fine so I could leave. Never had to file my nails at home after a manicure before!I thought with all of the great reviews my experience would be different, but I guess you get what you pay for. I have to say that I am extremely picky about my nails. I feel like if you are going to spend your time and money to have your nails done...you should leave feeling beautiful! That being said...I have been to many salons and not returned. BAD mani/pedi equals a 1 time visit from me. Poor customer service...I may leave before my mani/pedi even begins. The first time I visited the Nail Lab, was as a walk-in customer with a friend of mine for her birthday. We wanted a nice, rel...axing environment where we could chat it up and receive a great manicure. That is exactly what we got! The owner (June) introduced herself as soon as we walked in. (Of course we didn't know she was the owner at the time.) The receptionist was friendly, went over their services with us, offered us a drink and the rest is history. We even got fun designs for the holiday season. We left feeling fantastic! I have read the....2 out of however many reviews that were negative and I honestly can't even imagine the staff here treating a customer poorly! If it were to happen (because honestly, who doesn't have a bad day every now and then), I know that not only June but the entire staff would want to make the situation right The staff is friendly and respectful, and I felt like a "regular" from day 1! If I could give 0 stars I would. I was insulted by the girl working up front. She insinuated that I was fat, by asking if I were pregnant. Not once but twice. I am in no way overweight and even if I was she shouldn't of asked that. She asked "You're pregnant, aren't you?" I was completely embarrassed and felt horrible about myself. I was getting a pedicure and the poor lady doing my toes thought she was hurting me, because I was crying for most of my visit. I called the next day to let the owner know what had happened and she apologized and said if I come back she would take care of me. I do appreciate her apology, but she should really talk to her staff about how to talk to people. I will never go back there again. Read Less

On my very first visit, I was immediately taken by the nice ambience and friendly staff. I'm ~very~ meticulous about how everything is sanitized etc. in an establishment, more so when I get my nails done and I must say this place did not disappoint. Went in today to try out Nail Lab for my homecoming nails and a pedi for my mom.. LOVE! I had Stacy for my dip powder mani with extensions on the nails where my natural ones had broken. she blended the extensions seamlessly and was so kind in assisting me to find the right color and shape. I'm very picky when it comes to the shape of my nails and making sure they are all even- Stacy made them perfect to even my standards!! My mom had a classic pedicure and said "it was very relaxing and the woman who did mine was obviously very professional and knew what she was doing." What a Wonderful Gem of a Salon! My sister and mother live in the area and go here often and like it.  I hadn't been in almost two years and the owner remembered that I was a teacher from Houston!!! That is how you do business, remembering peoples names and giving personal attention means great service and return customers.  She even called the day after our service to make sure that we had a good time and were satisfied. Trendy nails!! Love this place. Finally found a place that isn't afraid to do what I want, like coffin nails or raised nail art. The studs and powder colors are even on display! It's entirely possible to pick out exactly what you want before you sit down. Plus, where else can you go where they do stamping and don't make a horrible mess of it? I just found Nail Lab because I wanted artificial nails again and after doing some research I found this lovely nail salon.  I called at 1:15pm for an appointment, they had a 2pm....perfect.  June took my call and answered all my questions about SNS nails...I was sold!  When I arrived I was warmly greeted and Jennee took great care of me and answered all my questions about this newer technology!  Love my nails! I have never been treated so rude as I was today at the Nail Lab. I made an appointment for 10:00 and showed up exactly on time. There was one female worker named Priscilla who drew water in the basin for my pedicure. she was very distracted on her cell phone. I put my feet in to soak as she proceeded to trim my husband's toenails. She finished with him and disappeared to the back of shop. About 35 minutes later with my feet in cold water I called out to her when she emerged... form the back. I asked if someone was going to do my pedicure. She said another person was suppose to do it but was in back working on someone else who came in after me. she came out and said it was a miscommunication. Horrible experience. I paid for an upgraded pedicure that was supposed to last 55 minutes and lasted a half hour at most. No effort or care went into it. I even had to ask for a 3rd coat because the color was still see-through and looked horrendous! They asked if I wanted something to drink right when I sat down and I didn't receive it until 5 minutes before I left after claiming "she forgot". I also got a gel manicure that is the worst I've ever had. She went too quickly and completely neglected to cut my cuticles all the way, so the gel is already peeling off one day later.
