Out of town visiting. Treated my niece and self to pedicures. The woman who greated us was pleasant enough. Her assistant not so much. Shop was less to be desired. Seat was broken. Foot water cool side. Should had walked out but we stayed. My niece had the woman who greeted us. She was good. I got the assistant. She nicked the cuticle on my right big toe which bled. I had smudges that no one repaired. The nicked toe is infected to where it's pussing. I am in pain. Looks like a trip to a urgent care? Took pictures. Board of health should make a visit. Also they charge more than New York. Where I am from. Find a different place but don't go here. Doesn't desrve a star.

Awful experience. I never plan to visit again. Not only was the man very short tempered, but he did not do my nails how I wanted them! My friend and I were getting our nails done for graduation and we're hoping it would go nicely but it went quite the opposite. Anyway, let me get to how it went. I tried making small talk with the man who was doing my nails when he just got angry, looked at me with this evil looked and said, "just let me do this!" I hardly talked after that. He would often ask if it's good and when I told him once that it was too thick, he called me picky!!! Note: I only do my nails maybe once a year so of course I'm going to be picky! While he was filling my nails, I felt a sharp pain on one of my fingers so I flinched because it hurt. I have held still prior to this. The man's reaction was to drop my hand and everything he held and look at me again with this evil look as if saying "really?" Like yes! It hurt! I even apologized! When he was doing my friends nails, the two men arfued and the man was more aggressive with her nails, practically taking it out on her. After the nails were made, he decided that he was going to pick the designs for me and my friends nails. He said that his idea would be prettier. These were our nails and we picked the colors we wanted. To say that the customer doesn't know what they want is ridiculous. I am outraged with the way my friend and I was treated here when we tried our best to be respectful customers!!!!! I don't like to bash on businesses but this was very wrong and I don't wish this on anyone else.

So I was unlucky enough to get my nails done here as one of the two people was not attending to anyone. I wanted one color, which should be simple enough, but I had to correct the man because he filed...
So I was unlucky enough to get my nails done here as one of the two people was not attending to anyone. I wanted one color, which should be simple enough, but I had to correct the man because he filed the color down so much that my nail was showing. Correcting him seemed to agitate him to the point of filing the skin raw enough to bleed on one of my fingers. After asking if I upset him, he denied (even though he clearly took it out on my fingers). I then asked him to fix another nail which he only dipped halfway leaving a ridge. This whole ordeal cost me $45 and 2 hours. Next time I will drive the 45 minutes to Fort Worth to get the job done correctly in an hour for only $35 dollars. I highly recommend going someplace else. I will also be reporting him to the state licensing board.

It's a great place but you do have to make an appointment. Peter and Kevin take pride in their craft and do a great job. I can go to walk-in places and I'm out in 40 minutes, but not at Fancy Nails. It takes longer because they are doing quality work! The pedicures are top notch and my gel manicures last MUCH longer than any other place that I used in the past.

Terrible! I went here a few weeks ago, and it was a horrific experience, I regret not going to my normal lady (I was out of town, my normal lady is in Grand Prairie). The man who did my nails was RUDE...
Terrible! I went here a few weeks ago, and it was a horrific experience, I regret not going to my normal lady (I was out of town, my normal lady is in Grand Prairie). The man who did my nails was RUDE and too rough. So rough that he made me bleed. When I began to bleed, he didn't know what to do. He just looked at me, and said, "oops."I said to him that three of my nails were crooked (I got acrylics), and asked if he could fix them. His response was, "I know what I'm doing, let me do it." The EXACT nails I told him were crooked, fell off within 2 days. My usual acrylic nails last 3 weeks. I was outraged, I paid $30 just for three of my nails to break off within 2 days. After about 4 days of having the nails (or at least 7 of them) my thumb nail split in half when I tried to pick up a bag and left me bleeding for an hour. Overall, it was absolutely terrible and I hope no one has to go through what I did. I wish I could give this place absolutely no stars.

Yet another example of ignorance of business owners... If you do business with Fancy Nails on Henderson in Cleburne can I ask you to boycott them and tell them why...Went to get my nails filled and after telling me to come back in 40 minutes (which I sat in my car right in front of the door) I go back in for them to tell me they can't have the dog in... I calmly explained that he's a service dog and they responded with I don't care he(the other employee) is scared to death of him(because of his size)... I'm upset, but I calmly walked out... If you are a foreign born individual operating a business here in the US, it should be mandatory that you understand the public access laws established by the ADA... This is my second experience with this type of business telling me I can't bring my service animal in with me...

This is an awful place. First they banned me and I had to learn it from the girl that was in there running her mouth to them about me. All I said which I was agreeing with her is the main nail guy not the foot guy is rough and nasty. My fingers would always bleed anywhere else I would go in burleson doesn't make me bleed nor let some crazy women come in and try to get me banned. I mean I had already said I would never go back anyways but its just the point.
The fact that several hundred people have been banned from this "nail salon" tells me it's the problem with the "men" running it no one wants to pay to get hurt or be treated poorly. The main nail guy is the one that said he's always having to banned people.
I wish the health department would go in there they really need a surprise visit... SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HAND FROM BLEEDING WITH THE SAME TOOLS SOMEONE ELSE DID.

This review by Catherine Thomas are just a bunch of bull!!!! You were turned down for service because you have a nail disease that cannot be put on artificial nail. You got mad and now you making a rant about us. Clients a Fancy Nails knows we are very sanitized. Tools are in their pouch sanitized in an autoclave for one hour and a half before used on any clients.Your mom Jane Joiner should be more responsible when she have an appointment with us. She always running late and call at the very last minute to reschedule. We have a lot of clients not just your mom so when you have appointment be more responsible and be on time because there's people ahead of her and after her. You and your mom were turned down was THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

Warning do not go to this shop!!! Besides the unsanitary practices they use (drop stuff on floor and still use it, not sanitize tools used on pedicures between uses) the owner Kevin is the rudest, roughest, most disrespectful business owner I have ever come across in my entire life!!! He refuses to listen on how I wanted my nails done and hurt me really bad during the 15 minutes I was in his chair. When I complained and said you are hurting me, he told me to leave his shop!!! If all this isn't bad enough, my mother has been a long time customer over 2 years now and when she called to make an appointment recently she stated she only wanted a manicure not a pedicure this time because she was running short on time Kevin then stated well don't ever come back here again, I don't need customers like you!!!!

my mother lives in Cleburne is been using this shop for a while now at least a couple of years well the first time I went in there with her Kevin the owner demanded to do my nails which are not the best his way I knew what he was doing was wrong he eventually kicked me out of the shop and then yesterday when my mom called to make an appointment she told him she only wanted a manicure no pedicure because she didn't have time and he stated don't call here again I don't want customers like you. he is got to be the most disrespectful rude business owner I have ever come across in my life do not use this shop tell your friends not to use the shop and I will be reporting him to the Better Business Bureau as well as the health department for unsanitary practices

Just moved on from Austin. Wife was looking for a new nail salon. Driving by it doesn't look like much but go in and these two guys have been here for 14 years. I had a pedicure. Wife, mani and pedi. I don't put alot of stock typically in yelp reviews as most people either embellish or under state the reality as my experiences typically are opposite of what most people say. However this experience made me download and create a user is as I couldn't go without bragging on these guys. Sterile tools very soft handed and as many manicures and pedicures as my wife has had for her to be impressed is a big compliment to the salon. We will return

Out of town visiting. Treated my niece and self to pedicures. The woman who greated us was pleasant enough. Her assistant not so much. Shop was less to be desired. Seat was broken. Foot water cool side. Should had walked out but we stayed. My niece had the woman who greeted us. She was good. I got the assistant. She nicked the cuticle on my right big toe which bled. So I was unlucky enough to get my nails done here as one of the two people was not attending to anyone. I wanted one color, which should be simple enough, but I had to correct the man because he filed the color down so much that my nail was showing. It's a great place but you do have to make an appointment. Peter and Kevin take pride in their craft and do a great job. I can go to walk-in places and I'm out in 40 minutes, but not at Fancy Nails. It takes longer because they are doing quality work! The pedicures are top notch and my gel manicures last MUCH longer than any other place that I used in the past.

Terrible! I went here a few weeks ago, and it was a horrific experience, I regret not going to my normal lady (I was out of town, my normal lady is in Grand Prairie). The man who did my nails was RUDE and too rough. So rough that he made me bleed. When I began to bleed, he didn't know what to do. He just looked at me, and said, "oops."I said to him that three of my nails were crooked (I got acrylics), and asked if he could fix them. His response was, "I know what I'm doing, let me do it." The EXACT nails I told him were crooked, fell off within 2 days. My usual acrylic nails last 3 weeks. I was outraged, I paid $30 just for three of my nails to break off within 2 days. This is an awful place. First they banned me and I had to learn it from the girl that was in there running her mouth to them about me. Besides the unsanitary practices they use (drop stuff on floor and still use it, not sanitize tools used on pedicures between uses) the owner Kevin is the rudest, roughest, most disrespectful business owner I have ever come across in my entire life!!!
